Difficulty names correctly convey difficulty. c:Etsu wrote:

In my personal taste, I always prefer when songs with slow bpms have difficulty names with no caps. I don't know if that would be nice with you? You could change the difficulty names to "futsuu", "muzukashii" and "oni" ehh, I like it how it is.
FutsuuWoops, placed a kat at 00:00:795 - I actually didn't even mean for the rest moments to be placed in the same spot in the music every time, they were just forced rest moments. I guess I'll also delete the note at 00:01:595 - to stay consistent with that though.
- My only concern about this difficulty is the beginning of it, because it's the only difficulty that starts at 00:01:595 (1) - . If we take into consideration the consistency of all the difficulties, it would be awesome if you'd move this note to 00:00:795 - and make it a kat. Also, if you'd keep it this way, it would make a contraction with this emplacement, 00:14:395 - (and all the others that are similar), which has no notes. Yet, they are in the same 'spot' in the song. It would be better to just follow the consistency in this case.
MuzukashiiOni
- The 1/3 notes could be less present in this difficulty. I know your main goal is to follow the bass at some points, but if you're having 1/3 notes twice in a short period, it kinda breaks the spread between the previous difficulty and the next difficulty, for the simple reason that futsuu does not have any 1/3 notes while oni have similar patterns. In this case, you could do the following: Although I'd like for the star rating spread to be fine, I'm going to have to decline this. I'd like for my map to be as musically accurate as possible, there is a clear spread in difficulty with the introduction of another instrument being mapped in the oni, and the current 1/6th stuff is easy enough for an oni. Its only doublets and its followed by a 2 beat rest moment.
* 00:01:461 (2) - Move it to 00:01:995 -
* 00:07:861 (13) - Move it to 00:08:395 -
* 00:14:261 (25) - Move it to 00:14:795 -
* 00:20:661 (36) - Move it to 00:21:195 -
* 00:27:061 (48) - Move it to 00:27:595 -
* 00:33:461 (57) - Move it to 00:33:995 -
* 00:39:861 (69) - Move it to 00:40:395 -
* 00:46:261 (80) - Move it to 00:46:795 -
After doing these changes, you will see that the whole spread will be balanced :p (Surprising, eh?)call me backk
- 00:01:995 (4) - I'd suggest you to change this kat for a don, to give a better kick to the next kat. it's pretty much similar to 00:06:261 (13,14,15,16) - . At 00:01:995 - and 00:06:795 - I'm mapping to the piano(???). In the first example the piano is higher pitched. In the second example its lower pitched.
- 00:14:795 (35) - suggesting you to do the same thing for this note. Same as above. This piano note is high pitched c:
- 00:15:995 (37,38,39,40,41,42,43) - having a pattern of "d d k k d d k" would fit better in this case as it would emphasize more on the notes I made in bold. Changed pattern to dkkkddk. 00:16:395 - is comparable to the pitch of the piano(??) note at 00:14:795 - . and 00:17:195 - is a higher pitch than the note at 00:16:395 - so it should be a k anyways. I think I also mapped it this way all the other times anyways. But then there is conflicting pitch relevant mapping... Like 00:27:595 - is the same as 00:16:395 - but they aren't both kat. But at 00:27:595 - the main instrument is playing.. I'm gonna change it to a kat.
- 00:29:195 (70) - I feel like it would be better to change this note for a don also. Same reason as the suggestion above. Same high piano pitch note
- 00:40:395 (96) - suggesting you to replace the don for a kat, same reason as the first suggestion. Also high pitch piano note. :p
No change.Surono wrote:
00:00:795 - is this audible? yeah if increasing the volume of speakers to 100% lol, you should 00:01:595 - move here and change it to don. I just changed it to this based on Gabe's suggestion. The previous way which is what you want me to revert to, doesn't have consistent 4/1 breaks.
00:14:395 - and yeah like gabe said before, its not necessary to have a break e.g 00:00:995 - ~ 00:02:195 - yeah its slow song ye.. The breaks are consistent and feel like real breaks since the map already has a ton of 2/1 breaks.00:03:195 - change it to kat to avoide monotones after you have added some don at similar place. yeh for sake balance with muzu. This same pattern in music at 00:15:995 - , 00:28:795 - , and 00:41:595 - are all represented the same. no change.
and gabe can rebub this
