I'll do it, if my recorder stops being a dick. I'm planning to get the Honey Gathering theme too, it's kinda addicting.

Also, thank goodness you can do something else in Dream Taiko Land; after you've gathered enough amount of plays, you can do the Pirates and Haunted House games using any song that you've unlocked.

Needless to say Hataraku2000 is a BITCH in Pirates game. Mainly because of DAT POTATO NOTE REQUIRING 120 PRESSES FFFFFFFFFFF

It's also fun to party out with the god songs and play Haunted House when there's many of you. Survival is FTW, really fun and intense. Try playing BRA non-Ura in the Haunted House, and you're probably not going to even finish the song lol (if 3 dies before the song ends, the last one standing becomes the winner). Ura's possible though since the streams actually kinda help in a way, factor in that you always switch with the first hand first.

Are you a lazy donder, which finds boring to collect the coins fo Taiko Dream Land? Then try the F.L.A.R.E. method:

Fablolus Lokamp's Amazing Rack'n Earn!

Ingredients:

-) Oni unlocked (15 songs cleared on Muzukashii)
-) song selection unlocked for the Haunted House minigame (play haunted house about 5 times)
-) Black Rose Apostle unlocked (regular, not Ura) (70.000 hit-counter reached)

1) Enter the Haunted House minigame
2) Seleck Oni mode of BRA (regular, not Ura)
3) Lose the song. Don't touch anything!
4) Earn the coins
5) Repeat 1-4 points as much as you like!

Remember to collect the coins before quittin'the game! ;3

Lol that's precisely what I'm doing now when I don't feel like playing normally (e.g. too bored to even play). It's faster if you have 3 cons so that all 3 of them will lose immediately (?). I want that Kodama hitsound.

Also, can someone confirm to me if Popcorn Parade is really 128 in the game or is it 128.87 like the one in the official site?

Gonna try recording it to make sure...

I don't know, I've been too lazy to download mp3s as of late. Oh, I tried playing the pirate song in the Haunted House and vice versa. Crazy change of tone. :P

OK,so I asked taiko_team whether The End Of Your Life 2000 is going to be the final 2000 or not.
It kinda went like this:

My recorder was actually able to record some stuff again before it broke again (that means still no Lalala Happiness -_-) so I'll be posting 12983596283745 vids by maybe tomorrow. I also recorded IN THE ZONE and Taiko Time along with it.

Hm, maybe I should get the music in it now.

EDIT: ...crap, I forgot that my computer doesn't like the DVD I'm recording on -_- maybe tomorrow then

Well, I think I got my recorder working... I think... I just need to unlock the stuff now.

Though my sister is dominating the recorder at the moment so I can't record IN THE ZONE and Taiko Time yet :/

And for now I can say that IN THE ZONE is one of the coolest songs I've heard on TnT yet.

It was one of 12.5's best Namco Originals but scored last in the popularity test together with Many wow bang. Even Ego Ego Atakushi lasted longer, and that's not half as nice.

I swear Ego Ego's popularity is due to the fact that it's sung by a one of them idols in idolM@STER.

Hey there =) I really want to play jubutsu 2000. I saw in Taiko Time blog that we have to play 300 time in "play mode".
If I let my Wii play in vacuum 300 time in the ghost manor mini game, it'll be ok ? To gain coin, it was fast !

And about Jubutsu, you have good ear ! I'm french and I dont't "saw" that there were number at the beggining X)

Hello there, kirumi! You have a good eye for a speed coin-gaining method. :3
But for unlock Joubutsu2000, the 300 plays must be done in the regular play modes! Your plays with the 7 minigames will not be counted.

Same thing for Doom Noiz and for other playing unlocks!

I passed BRA and Doom Noiz on my first try.
I passed BRA Ura in two.
I passed Kita Saitama and Ryougen no Mai in three.
I passed Hataraku and Rotter Ura in five.

But I could not pass Joubutsu even after nine tries. Discuss.

@Ksndr: YOU'RE FRENCH. Can you help translate the lyrics? I'd very much appreciate it :D

Potential BG sources for the Kikyoku series.

EDIT:New map!This time it's The Dirty of Loudness,one of Tatsh' most famous songs.
This song is notorious for its 全押し notes,but I can't replicate that unfortunately(since it'll be impossible to hit
considering taiko's gameplay mechanism)
Aside from the streams near the end of the song,the rest is pretty much all "ddk d k ddk d k" and similar stuff.
I blame the song's straightforward rhythm.

I think this beatmap sounds better with the old hitsounds than the new ones (probably because new!kat lags a bit?IDK)

What are the 全押し notes supposed to be? I'm familiar with the chart of DoL (I passed Expert... well, once, but never again...), but I don't know a lot of terminologies.

Basically,it's all 7 notes+turntable at the same time.
If it's double play,make it 14 notes and 2 turntables.

If I want to put that in Taiko,it'll be both a large don and a large katsu at the same time.

And yeah,Tatsh's everywhere.That guy did vocaloid,touhou,iM@S,lucky star,haruhi,taiko,music gun gun,what have you.

@arken Tatsh composed the opening of Lucky Racer,some live-action racing spin-off show based off Lucky Star.


Oh,and Tatsh also did Gurren Lagann. (he's responsible for Break Through the Dream and Trust,or so I heard)

I can identify most of them,but I can't recognize these:
Run,Blue,Love,Kiluna,Pipi,Viento,Puzzle,Zero,Acoo,Yuki,Sakura and Shito.

Any ideas?They seem to be shortened forms of Namco Original songs..

I haven't been able to rip the videos from my DVD (yet), but I just really want to lolsay: Haunted House + Hataraku2000 = Joubutsu sequel, lol

Dropping in to say I've updated MAPPU2000's navigation system and that I need to update the CMS core... so don't panic if you see that something has broken. I'll be sure to take precautions over backing up the authentic map links before I start doing anything so we will at least have that if something goes KABOOM.

Just saying that if any of my assigned feels like saving text copy backups of the HTML code for the authentic map pages then please feel free to do so, just so our risk is spread:



The thing is, well, daily automatic backups cost money I don't have and it isn't worth it for such a small operation.

@aquabluu: Recently did a clean install of Windows 7 because I upgraded to an SSD for my boot drive... the end result being I wiped my old drive, EPSON FONTS going with it. Do you think you could link me a copy? Thanks.

For some reason,my version has a length of 2:30,while it's
supposed to be 2:05...maybe I got the album version?
And this song is a complete asshole to map.
Trippy turntable-scratching is trippy OTL

Anyhoo,got the rhythm down,only hitsound-customizing+kiai time to add in
(I'll probably make it go kiai throughout the whole song for the lulz)

930 combo,almost defeated Fuushikaden's record for most notes in a taikomap made by me.
