[Beatmap Packs] All ranked maps (2007 - 2023)

Hey guys, here's a little summary of what's been happening :

I have fixed a few things in the 2008 osu!packs (the ones that Andresardo pointed out with a few maps that I noticed I couldn't extract). I have reuploaded 2008-02 and 2008-03 on Mega. I also have made a new torrent file.
I have fixed the 2011-01 osu!taiko pack which contained a map that I couldn't extract. I am currently reuploading it on Mega and I have made a new torrent file.
I have fixed the 2016-04 osu! pack which had a missing beatmap and the 2016-06 osu! pack which had a torrent file in it that Andresardo pointed out. I am currently reuploading it on Mega and I have made a new torrent file.

People who already have those files and are seeding them, you don't need to redownload the whole thing. Download the torrent and link it to the files you already have. It will only download the files that have been modified.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I will keep fixing packs on Mega, should I ever find errors again but I don't think I will alter the torrents anymore. osu!direct was the only way of checking that I had everything but it has been showing me maps that I already have so I can't rely on it anymore and I don't have any other way to check everything. But I can say that the collection is 99.99% complete. There shouldn't be that many missing maps.

Edit : Don't worry if you can't download them right now. I will seed those torrents after I finish uploading the packs on Mega.

Thank you for the hard work :P

I just moved to a place with optic fibers, I will download and seed all of the packs ^^ (if bittorrent stops crashing ...)

Hey again, just noticed a few more things on both torrents and mega files:

2007-10: 126 Lisa Locheed - The Raccoons - Run with us
2009-03: 5577 SEGA,Prope - Let's TAP Title Song
2010-01: 11422 Frankmusik - 3 Little Words

All 3 beatmaps show up as not submited in osu and doesn't show the update button. I had to manually download them from the website.

I can confirm, it's weird. I put the links on the OP. I will not modify the packs and torrents, you will have to download them from the website. There might be other maps like these, who knows. I have noticed that quite a few maps need to be updated in game as well. I can't check every map unfortunately.

Sorry to bother again so soon, but looks like I'm still having problems with 2008-02 and 2008-03 packs on both mega and torrent links after redownloading (Using the new torrent links posted in OP). When opening the .rar, theres only files for one uncompressed beatmap instead of all the .osz files for the whole month.

I don't have this problem from my end as you can see below. Maybe use something else to open those files.

Hmmm, 7zip manages to open and extract, but shows and unexpected end of data error:

Maybe something happened while compressing?

I also remember the issue not happening with the mega files before I made my first post.
Anyways, I guess it's only on my end :P Thanks for the help.

PS: The image you posted didn't show up, probably posted the host's website link instead of the actual image link.

Yeah it did that for me as well, but I have the same number of files after extracting. Not sure what causes it and if I recompress those files, it might happen again.

What if those corrupted "687 Hotei Tomoyasu - Mr.Lonely" and "951 Tanci Minus - Gorod" files where the ones that corrupted the .rar? They are included on each of those packs.

They work fine now. It might be one of the beatmaps in it but I can't be sure.

I calculated the number of beatmap-sets per year for osu!std based of your packs.
Of course I can't guarantee that they are 1000% correct, but they should be close to.

Also please be aware this are the numbers for whole beatmapsets only, as I am not crazy enough to count every single beatmap to ever exist. Well, I still did it for 2007 and 2008 though (see numbers in brackets).

Hey, just want to say thanks for this! I recently had to re-image my computer because of a software issue and this has been extremely helpful for getting all my beatmaps back. Good work!

Edit: Just after the 2013 torrent finished I got a message in uTorrent talking about how a virus was found and that I should upgrade to Pro... I'm guessing this is just a marketing ploy? I hope there's no virus because I might have to re-image again lol.

(and I guess I should probably not use uTorrent lol, I just reflexively downloaded it without thinking much)

Using µtorrent in 2017, ugh...Use something else like Deluge or qBittorrent.

yo idk if it's just me, but the 2008 packs 2 and 3 don't have any beatmaps. Only the image and mp3 of 1 individual map each. Could you fix it pls?

Thats the same thing that happened to me. It seems that the archive has some kind of unexpected end of file error that Winrar can't seem to get through, unlike 7zip, which extracts it just fine.

Interesting. I had no idea something like that could happen with winrar. How would you fix smth like this?

To fix it, i think that Elessey would need to remake the archive and re-upload it. If he doesn't want to do that or you can't wait, then you can just download 7zip and use that to extract the archive, instead of using Winrar.

Am i doing something wrong becuase when i open these packs and open them 1 by 1, Osu only gets the 2star version of the song... im new to this usualy only download through the game... Any one have any advice?

Do you have anything that filters the songs in your options? Maybe that's why only 2 star maps appear.

That's weird, can you link a map for example? Some of the sets have low star maps, espeically the older ones.

When i download some packs from osu standard , im also getting other gamemode maps...
can you fix it?

No, you will have to remove them yourself from your client. It is normal to have maps from other gamemodes since some mapsets have maps from other gamemodes and I can't modify the mapset to remove the maps that you don't want (technically I think I could but it would be a lot of work).

Taiko mode-> 2017-> 08-> Chorogons - Ishukan Communication(TV size) was desqualified and now is unranked :)

Thank for the pack! Do you know how to update everything on the main menu from the [?] or is it just a case of waiting with osu open for a couple hours
F5 only seems to filter through the .osu into folders and I'm not sure if there's any way to update all the maps to ranked status faster than just waiting

You need to be online and have the global rankings tab open, it will update automatically. Playing offline or having local rankings tab open will not update the status of the map. Sadly it's a one by one thing, you can't do it all at once. But it takes a few seconds each time.

O crap totally forgot to say anything! Yes so the very first set of ranked Beat maps 2007 is almost entirely un rated or 2 star songs so if you download it and wonder why you aren't getting all the difficulties that's why. I've downloaded the next set and its working perfectly. Thanks for the effort it made it alot easier to get the ranked beat maps. Appreciate all the work that's been done, and also the help I've received.

I won't add loved maps or make packs with loved maps. The reason is that they can be ranked if the mapper wants to. They are unranked maps with leaderboards.

Hey, so I've started downloading the year-size torrents recently, and within the 2008 pack both February and March were completely empty upon unpacking, just 1 or 2 junk files I can't even identify. The other months seem fine, any idea what went wrong there?

Note: At first i had 866 maps for taiko. So i decided to do final check.

I was trying to find missing mapset/map for taiko but found more than that. After copying and pasting all taiko maps in folder with standard maps and then deleting them i had 6 maps for taiko. After checking those i found that there are 4 mapsets that didn't overwrite each other.

So if you decide to fix that you just need to rename any of them. Personally, i just copied taiko ones (with underscore).

The missing mapset is "47302 Sakakibara Yui - Scarlet (Short Ver)" from 2012-04 (osu!).
Please, add "47302 Sakakibara Yui - Scarlet (Short Ver)" to 2012-04 (osu!taiko).

Note: I had some errors when i was exporting maps from 2008-03 (osu!). I guess something wrong with 1 or 2 maps. It actually may be "989 Danny Elfman - Wonka's Welcome Song" map (the map you get when extracting archive through WinRar instead of 7z).

For the 2007 year
  • -Standard: 199 different mapsets, 348 maps
    -Taiko: —— different mapsets, —— maps
    -Catch the Beat: —— different mapsets, —— maps

By the way, it'll be cool if you put here Loved maps too. There are quite many of them (a bit less than Catch ones) and downloading them through site is quite hard now.

I've added the stats and the problems that have been reported.
I've also added the answer to the loved maps question to the FAQ.

What did you mean with the overwrite problems? Do you get the same file with 2 on it after importation?

What did you mean with the overwrite problems? Do you get the same file with 2 on it after importation?
Usually i combine all maps from the same year so i'll not have same folders but yeah, i had 2 copies of the same map because they had different title. Osu maps had "-" in their title while taiko ones had "_". So you will have 2 folders in your "osu!/Songs" folder:
123 Map-Title
123 Map_Title
It will not affect amount of maps in-game but it's just kinda annoying to have useless files on HDD :D :D
It's only for like 5 maps but i still decided to report about it.

I can't extract 2008-02 and 2008-03 in linux even when using 7-zip.
Also, Mega seems to have a download quota for each IP, and I can only download from 2007-10 to 2008-08 only.
Can you remake the rar for 2008-02 and 2008-03?
Also, are there any solutions for the Mega bandwidth limit?

I can't help with problems on Linux. I will reupload those packs on Mega eventually.
Regarding Mega and all of its downsides, I have answered part of it in the faq. There might be ways of getting around it.
I'll think of using something else to upload the packs. Torrenting the packs every month would be complicated since I'll have to fix mistakes and I would have to constantly create new torrents. Possible solutions are using a better cloud service or getting a server but those aren't free.

November 2017 packs have been added.
The way I'm doing this currently isn't the best way. Mega has had a few downsides that people have been complaining about. Torrenting is a good alternative but the packs have to be perfect before being shared and errors happen like missing beatmaps, maps being deranked (only happened once so far) and so on.
I am considering using another service which would allow me to have enough space to have all the packs on and modify and update packs when needed. However this won't be free so if you guys want to, I could start taking donations to pay for it. I'll have to confirm with the staff if it's okay to do that here though.
