Currently there's a possibility that after you click F2 (the random song select button) repeatedly, the same song might appear again. It's random yes, so this is normal. But I believe it would be a good QoL feature to make it so songs you've passed while randomizing don't appear again, until you're on the last unselected song at which point it resets.
I don't know exactly how difficult it is to implement this, or how hard it is on the storage end, but we already (kind of) have a history of this which can be seen by holding Shift and pressing F2, which goes backwards to previously selected/randomized songs.
