Sinceramente esta era la idea antes, pero decidí realizar esto ya que de esta forma se siente el jump un poco mas natural y no interrumpe el flujo de los jumps siguientes y anteriores.

i'm gonna say the same things i did with spark of light because this is essentially the same thing but even worse

https://osu.ppy.sh/ss/8894108 again, i shouldn't be able to remove (this time less than 15!) notes from a map and have the star rating reduced by almost 0.7.

just looking at monstrata's diff:
00:07:441 (5,6,7,8) - i get the need for a buildup here, but adding a fullscreen jump 00:08:182 (1,2) - here is unwarranted, especially considering this isn't that intense of a section (and it's 7 seconds into the song so)
00:48:182 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - these need nerfing, they're way too big and overemphasized compared to the rest of the map as they are currently.
01:10:219 (6,1,2,3) - same thing here, although this is the kiai climax so i can kind of understand having some big jumps here. i just don't think fullscreen fits at all in this song sans the climax of the song 00:49:663 (1,2,1,2) - here.

also can we talk about why armin's extra is ar 9.2, venix's is ar 9.1 and monstrata's is 9, but then the top diff is just ar 9.3? like...why? lol

not to mention top diff is od 8.5 and monstrata's is od 9

ik it's not required for difficulty spreads to be consistent with AR and OD settings but considering the second top diff is AR 9 OD 9 and literally no other diff in the set has OD 9 and the extras before it (sans irre's because cs 7) were above AR 9 just feels like blatant pp mapping to me.

i can't really say i like the new approach monstrata's going about ranking maps, it's catering way too much to pp and big jumps than it is to actually following the rhythm of the songs given. not like he wasn't already doing that most of the time, but it wasn't as blatant as this.

About your AR sense, I think this linear spread doesn't matter when you've for example 5 extras (ofc matter between ENHIX but not between XXXXX). It depends then on mapper's preferences and mapping style I guess.

maybe try to improve the map instead of trying to nerf the pp lol?

about AR and OD settings those are kinda personal things, since not every diff is mapped the same.

ik it's not required for difficulty spreads to be consistent with AR and OD settings but considering the second top diff is AR 9 OD 9 and literally no other diff in the set has OD 9 and the extras before it (sans irre's because cs 7) were above AR 9 just feels like blatant pp mapping to me.

i can't really say i like the new approach monstrata's going about ranking maps, it's catering way too much to pp and big jumps than it is to actually following the rhythm of the songs given. not like he wasn't already doing that most of the time, but it wasn't as blatant as this. I'll let Monstrata to reply this, since the things are towards to him.

Basically what Venix, and Natsu said about the settings. As the difficulties were mapped in different ways, we can't just make them all to fit in a linear way due that the spread is from X to X doesn't matter that much at all.

also, snares as finishes why??????????????? And why not? I find that this hitsound as finisher fit with the song perfectly. But if you don't like it you can always disable them without any problem.

Regarding the settings, I'm pretty sure that those are somehow personal choices, because the amount of Extras in the set are different from each other. Therefore it doesn't affect having different kind of settings at all. And hitsounds are completely fine, it fits the song.

I totally agree with MkGuh's point of view. Settings are purely subjective, and there is a lot of sets where settings are not linear, and it doesn't cause any problems, as long as it fit to the song and it's not a AR4 Extra diff.

+ stop caring about pp it gives, and try to give something to improve the map instead, normal people map for pleasure/fun, and not for pp.

00:48:182 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8) - these need nerfing, they're way too big and overemphasized compared to the rest of the map as they are currently. This is a lot stronger than the rest of the map so naturally its bigger than the rest. It's supposed to be very big, you can't define what's overemphasized anyways, because there are a lot of other big jumps in the map, so no thanks,.

if you actually read what my mod said all the complaints sans AR/OD were because of rhythm and tone being overexaggerated compared to the rest of the song, not because of pp. it just so happens that having the overexaggerated parts nerfed nerfs the star rating because they're near-fullscreen.

in any case, that's just my thoughts on it.
