I'd like to suggest a new way to inform players of issues with the game that may prevent them from playing.
A simple alert bar at the top, bottom or the side of the screen displaying basic information about current issues should prevent the usual chat spam with people asking questions.
Currently score submissions are down and the #osu channel is constantly scrolling faster than anyone can read because people are asking the same questions.
This alert bar could be modified and deployed whenever a new issue arises to inform people as fast as possible and to provide a small FAQ.
This may also help to reduce server load as the chat wouldn't be as busy with repetative messages.
