I think that "lazer" should not be there, it feels me like it is a 3rd party application, like osu!stats or osu!skills and also not really an original thing, if it is gonna be the "new" osu!, then it should be just "osu!", what are your thoughts?

You can call it whatever you want, but right now it is not the main client. Im sure people will call it osu! when it fully replaces the current client. Also, this forum is for people who are designing programs. Feature request and questions have their own forums, but dont bother
Lazer is there as a separate client as it is written entirely from scratch, and also to provide an inside look for people who are interested in the future of osu.
It will be merged in and completely replace the current client once it is finished. Although afaik, osu!lazer will always be there as the "lazer" term is used for the open-source version of the game.
If you do not like it, just leave it alone.

Oh boy. peppy doesn't like people using osu!"..." to begin with because it those are usually reserved for the more official stuff. The fact he is letting us do that is being generous. Usually he would send out a message to the developer to use a more original name for whatever service/tool you are providing.
