- 00:00:029 (1,2) - The only other moment you use this stack are in 00:27:744 (1,2,3) - and for me both looks In totally different situations, one is a 1/1 timing distance that looks confortable with this semi-stack and the other is in the start of the song that maybe will not feel so nice, of course this is just an opinion but this semi-stack with just one circle isn't good in my opinion 00:00:029 (1) -, maybe stacking in 00:02:601 (1) - can be more consistent, like no semi-stack in 1/2 timing distance, just in 1/1 in all the map, you may disagree this does make sense, but both stacks are used where there are little to no instruments, so i guess it kinda fits imo
- 00:21:458 (2,3) - you can do a non-linear line in 00:21:887 (3) - as you have done in 00:19:601 (3) -, looks more consistent changed some patterning here
- 00:29:744 (4) - This can be changed just for a circle, of course have a song extended until 00:30:029 - but as before you have ignored the guitar in 00:27:744 (1,2) -, maybe can be a good idea, and looks more confortable for play just a circle than a slider starting in a red tick and finishing in a big white, looks a bit strange (this is the only situation that have happen in all map) yeah as nao said i can't do this, need to have 30s drain time
good map

00:21:887 (3,4,5,1) - Square is a little warped for me. Maybe move (1) up a bit? yep i remade that square
00:27:744 (1,2,3,4) - I don't like this stacking at all. It's hard to read and doesn't really fit as well as sliders do. ehh id really like to keep the stack here, i think it emphasizes the vocals quite well though if more people disagree on it i can change it
I would add at least one spinner at the end to help keep the scoreboard more competitive. Starting 00:27:744 - like Armin did. i don't think a spinner really fits here at all tbh

I would add at least one spinner at the end to help keep the scoreboard more competitive. Starting 00:27:744 - like Armin did. Otherwise, 00:29:744 (3) - is better as a circle imo. what nao said, also can't do circle because of minimum drain time
thanks, but no changesMir wrote:

[Yahuri's Hard]
- 00:20:172 - this seems like a triple worth mapping cuz snare is on it and it was mapping for most of the map already// 00:22:458 - 00:23:601 - hmmmm i skip quite a lot of snare that doesn't happen on white ticks, mapping all the snare would make my diff pretty dense. might change my mind depending on future mods tho

- It seems hitsounding of this diff is copied and it’s the same of easy, so you can check what was mentioned there. nao did the hitsounding so i'll leave that to him
- I don’t get the reason behind this repeat here 00:26:601 (3) - , the blue tick there doesn’t have anything that worthy to emphasize to put a repeat, it’s not even hitsouded for any rhythm purposes so this is really off compared to the diff overall. At least imo, maybe you have some reason, but it’s not clear enough to me, sorry. so it's not hitsounded because nao didn't map it in his top diff, but there's a really audible sound on the blue tick which sounds similar to the one on the white tick except that it's more emphasized by the snare

[Princess]As far as map spread goes, Easy diff should have lower star rating.
- Spacing inconsistencies in this map can throw off a lot of players (it's only a 3.6* map). You can try to NC stuff to make things easier to read, but sometimes it forces NCs on places that doesn't match the music, like you did at 00:20:601 (1) - when the NC should be on the next note. i nc'd whenever it switched from 1/2 to 1/1 snapping though lol, that way it matches the song since the map is mapped on the song. and it isn't a spacing inconsistency if it's on purpose and fits the song anyway. also using the sr as a judgement in a map is kinda dumb unless it's strictly for spread purposes since the map define the SR, not the other way around.

- Seeing how 00:16:029 (1,2,3,4) - is part of the same pattern as 00:13:744 (1,2,3,4) - & 00:14:887 (1,2,3,4) - but the vocals are completely different on 00:16:029 (1,2,3,4) - , so i think the pattern should differ there. yes, the vocals are different, and if i wasn't spamming triangle patterns everywhere i would change this but, it's still part of the same vocal phrase and the underlying instruments are the same, and the triangle thing is central to all of the patterns in the map, so changing it here would be against that theme.
- 00:18:029 (2,3,4,5,1) - hard to play for a 3.6* if i remove everything that's hard to play fr 3.6 star then it won't be 3.6 stars loool
Other than that, other diffs looks fine
Hope this helps xD
Ar 8.1 lul =(

- No metadata links, had to confirm it myself:

So you have the Romanized artist but the original song features their names in JP, so you might wanna fix that:
葦原巧(CV:前野智昭) 仁科葵(CV:花江夏樹) 宮坂真也(CV:鳥海浩輔) yeah, the issue is that then the title field runs out of space so i just kept their actual names; i saw kwan suggest this on some random other map (i think gabriel drop kick?) where there was too much stuff so to drop the character names.
The Romanized title is currently “Kimi Iro Smile” I’m pretty sure you need to double check that since I’m not familiar with the rule about mixing Romanized words with foreign languages since at first glance the title rominized would be “Sumairu” will check- You should the Japanese name of the show , ルームメイト , in the tags since you’re using “RoomMate” as the source. changed source and will add to tags
- Would be great that the map density went along with the song more often, especially in terms of taking advantages of the 1/1 pauses it contains on vocal to help new players out, such as 00:17:458 - ~ 00:18:029 - /00:04:029 - ~ 00:04:601 - . If the spread is currently good, this definitely can improve that specially if applied in the easy and normal diffs. well, for top diff i don't think that amount of contrast is needed since i can do cool stuff with spacing and patterning other than only rhythm based stuff.
[ A r M i N's Easy]
- The finish here 00:04:029 – sounds really off and so it goes with the following; 00:06:029 (3) - / 00:09:172 (4) -/ 00:10:601 (3) –
And a lot of important transition sounds were not finished hitsounded like this one 00:27:744 (1) -- Shouldn’t it be a clap here 00:08:887 – instead of the whistle? You’re clapping every second and third white ticks and switches here when song is pretty much the same.
[Real’s Normal]
- It seems hitsounding of this diff is copied and it’s the same of easy, so you can check what was mentioned there.
[Yuri’s Hard]
- If you want your diff to be consistent with others so far, you need to NC this 00:00:315 (2) -
- Making the same pattern and rhythm 00:18:029 (4,5,6,7,1) - cover instrumentals only section 00:18:029 (4,5) – and vocal+instrumentals 00:18:314 (6,7,1) – seems to make the pattern loose the representation it could have. My suggestion is that you keep the circle to vocals there and change this 00:18:029 (4,5) – into a slider.
[ Princess ]
- If you want your diff to be consistent with others so far, you need to NC this 00:00:315 (2) -
- Finish spam is good for emphasis, but if your finishes all sound the same 00:08:744 (4,1,2,1) – the transition one 00:09:458 (1) – has some emphasis lost. Imo that finish hitsound patterning works a ton better if you use two different samples of cymbal crash.
- That spacing tho 00:19:601 (4,5,6,7,1) - , didn’t know you liked to map hard to read patterns.
So far most of the 1/2 were covered with decent amount of spacing 00:02:030 (5,1) -/00:03:172 (4,1) -/00:04:315 (5,1,2) –/00:07:744 (2,1) -/00:08:744 (4,1) -/00:10:315 (3,4) -/00:11:458 (6,1) -/00:12:315 (4,1) -/00:13:744 (1,2) -/00:14:601 (4,1) -/00:15:744 (4,1,2) -
Exception is this slow down section 00:05:887 (5,1,2,3,4) – that works just fine. However in this case 00:20:315 (7,1,2) – you already are in the slow down section once again and spacing were kept the same or you can even say that it has increased at some points 00:19:029 (2,3,4) -, and you have 3 consecutive 1/4 00:19:601 (4,5,6) – to break it here afterwards 00:20:315 (7,1) -. Consider re-working this a bit reworked a lot so now all wide angle +nc = 1/2 gap lol
Mapset looks fine mostly. I hate the song but well, musical taste :3 . I'll to get to the other map in the weekend. GL o/

Hard• 00:05:458 (2,3) - I dont like how circle 3 is placed next to slider 2, it doesn't look like it flows visually well. Moving it up so that it's in line with either part of slider 2 (the tail or the rest of the slider body) would look nicer changed instead to put the middle of 3 on the bottom of 2 (so it matches the down/left flow of 1-2)

Hi second modp rinc ess• 00:17:172 (5) - nc should be moved here to stay consistent with 00:14:887 (1,1) - (you use the nc right after the 1/4 jumps) ya but here its clear that 00:17:458 (1) - is the start of a new phrase adn i dont want a 1 circle ncHard• 00:05:458 (2,3) - I dont like how circle 3 is placed next to slider 2, it doesn't look like it flows visually well. Moving it up so that it's in line with either part of slider 2 (the tail or the rest of the slider body) would look nicer
Normal and Easy, and mp3 look okay, all very polished. (I might be flammed for asking but would the bg be considered "safe?" If something like haitai was considered an edge case I wouldn't know about this, but the haitai case was also just fucking dumb) yolo
Good luck!
more the reason it should changeYahuri wrote:
i watched the anime just now and i can confirm the background is a pretty darn accurate representation of the anime
theres clearly some debate about this bg so i wouldn't want to move this forward until that gets cleared up. I would rather an official consensus over a general oneNaotoshi wrote:

bg is finesquirrelpascals wrote:
hi, im rechecking this
[General]• Judging from AI mod there's tag and source conflicts in my version of the top diff, unless i needed to redl
• You need to map a majority of the set before you can get this ranked. Right now you've only mapped a quarter of it
• Metadata confirmation? net0 posted it for me!princess• 00:03:601 (2,3) - spacing feels pretty high here compared to something like 00:01:458 (3,4) -
• 00:05:887 (5,1) - this is inconsistent with the way you use this gimmick at 00:03:172 (4,1) - where you use an nc to incidate a pause in rhythm. So move nc to 00:06:315 (2) - basically or do something else
• 00:06:887 (4,1) - 00:09:172 (2,1) - Here you use the same spacing with different timeline gaps between objects, which hurts readability i do this literally everywhere in the map, i put an nc and the rhythm gap is doubled, it's the same thing here
• 00:16:315 (2,3,4) - I dont think that blindly using the same rhythm here as 00:13:744 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - is good because there are different things happening in the song here, and leaves notes like 00:16:601 - ignored i explained this above; the map is very much based on triangular patterns. changing the rhythm too much would mess up that patterning structure. hopefully the current variation (i updted it) is sufficient.
• 00:19:029 (2,3) - Why is this spacing so highreal•00:27:744 (1,2,3) - 00:00:029 (1,1) - beginner players might confuse these stacks to be the same rhythm they're 30 secnds apart. by now beginner players will not remember "oh at the start of the map a stack was used for this rhythm and now it is used for another one", they will just see the stack and use the approach circles to play it.theres clearly some debate about this bg so i wouldn't want to move this forward until that gets cleared up. thanks but no changesRegraz wrote:

00:13:744 (8,1) - Now that 1 was curved why not make the curve a blanket with 8? i can't make a blanket with 8 without changing the slidershape significantly, which i dont want to do

[Princess]
00:03:029 (3,4) - Ctrl+G them for better flow and avoid this weird spacing 00:03:172 (4,1) - current one is sharper angle, but it's still fairly comfortable
00:06:315 (1,2) - I don't think this is a nice idea, they are 1/1 they need to be spaced out. no. this is the entire concept of the map, i do it consistently: every time there's a wide angle + NC, the rhythm gap is 1/1. the vocals slow down every time, so there's no reason for the cursor not to. i did my best to make it consistent and readable, and anything further is just making the map more boring and generic, and screwing up my concept.
00:12:172 (3,4) - Ctrl+G too
00:13:744 (1,2) - I think a stack of 1 on 2 would be great because it matches the vocal amazingly. my conceptttttt
00:16:886 (5,6,1) - They need to be spaced out, the vocal here is quite in high pitch and deserves enhanced spacing. i disagree, i already added an extra note which makes this pattern much harder and the idea of this is to have the same/similar pattern rotated 3 times to show the repetition in the song. having a completely different spacing for the last one would just screw stuff up.
00:18:315 (4,5,1) - Larger spacing could be applied to 5,1 but for 4,5 I think it does not deserve such a great spacing coz the sound on 00:18:458 (5) - is quite weak. the spacing isn't really that high. the movement to it is still part of that same rotational motion, so it's very comfortable. 1 on the other hand requires a sharp angle change and as such is more emphasized. anyway, i buffed the jump to 1.
00:18:601 (1,2,3) - This is really a terrible flow, I suggest to place 00:19:029 (2) - on 292|248
00:20:601 (1,2) - Same as 00:13:744 (1,2) -
00:22:457 (2,3) - Ctrl+G same as above
00:26:029 (3,1) - Need to be spaced out too same as above
Cum me back
