All right guys, I need your help. I currently am using awp's chibi-themed avatars for the three cheerleaders (Agent J, Pippi, and Ryuuta). There is one spot (the "Are You Ready?" text), however, where I'm instead using their more serious comboburst frames since I don't want it to be too similar to that which immediately follows (the countdown). The trouble is, I have nothing for Pippi in this regard. I've sifted through some of the fanart, but I figured I'd let those more familiar with the thread assist in the decision. Link me up to some more realistically proportioned art. The winner gets their name mentioned in the credits as such (and a late entry to the SB if you haven't submitted a face yet), or, if you're not the artist but the artist accepts, both of you.

Updates to I Can Be Your Friend have been released. The updates will be applied manually when your osu! client is restarted. The major changes include:

I Can Be Your Friend

Added first break time storyboard events.
Added pass/fail icons and sounds.
Continued work on WOOOOOAAAAAHHH sections.
Fixed issue where the stage select background would not appear for the [Veggin'] difficulty.
Bumped topic in the WIP forum.
Added update notes to the Off-Topic forum.
Updated signature status indicator.

Interesting. I may find a use for that.

BTW, this is about the last time anyone's able to submit changes to their submitted images. I'm not going to try to keep up with name changes or whatever, so if you absolutely must replace your image, please submit it to me by Friday. And yes, I'm going to keep strager in the SB, because this story is supposed to take place in 2009, when I started the project.

All corrections made to the credits (I've talked with LunaticMara about the name issue). Reward for prompt assistance:

Looking a (little) bit more professional now, eh? I might redo the song title text (looks like some of the outline got cut off when resizing) and I forgot to put stars as well. Going by the EBA system, I'd pin this at about a five-star map (same as Let's Dance), right? Maybe a little lower?

Also, the .osz is looking like its going to be around 18MB in size... that's not unreasonably large, is it?

Not quite. I'm adding one last thing(s) today/tonight/tomorrow, and then I'm going to sit on it for a few days to get feedback and to look at it with fresh eyes. I plan to move it to Pending by Friday or so if all goes well.

Also, for the curious, this is my to-do list right now:

---Create:

Redo credits
Replace the TurnAround sfx with something more fitting
Add another sound while blasting off, make final one louder?
New Signature
Check backups around Aug 3, see if any of them reduce down to an incorrect overlap
One last reduce size of visual and audio

---Script:

Add "You bet kid!" to Insane
Trigger Loops for changing between Pass/Fail.

(The "Check backups" thing is due to this, it won't be necessary to do before I release the map).

It's in Pending! Go, attack it and make sure it doesn't suck before it gets Ranked! I've waited almost a year for this, so I don't mind waiting a little bit longer if it makes the map better.

Today is the 1 year anniversary of me posting I Can Be Your Friend. I'm tired. I'm not motivated any more. I made a great map, and a lot of people besides me agree on that, but for some reason I can't get the project to the next stage. Maybe it's midterms / winter / personal issues. Maybe it's because the map has taken so much longer than expected and people have lost interest. I dunno.

Maybe I'll try for a rank in December, but honestly, I feel like I'm only doing it for myself now, and that's no fun. I really just want it ranked right now to put it behind me and not have it suffer such a depressing death in the graveyard instead of trying to get it ranked on its own accord. It seems like nobody wants to hear this message anymore.

A while ago I made this post. Prove my philosophy wrong.
