Farming during early game is almost always better unless your champion is really bad at laning. Ganking is also risky; if your ganks fail, not only you'll be low on gold, you'll be behind in term of levels too. Even if you're playing a jungling hero, it's usually jungle till level 4-6 then come out and gank.
Here's what I do. Farm for 15 mins then rape shit. I honestly don't try to do anything but farming for the first 15 mins unless one of the lanes are getting wreck and really needs help, or I was just ambushed and have to go heal real quick. 15 mins if I'm have a good farming game I'll easily have 3k gold on any hero that isn't terrible at farming with 1 hero kill.Ever17 wrote:

huh, that's weird. I thought it had nothing to do with DotA, except for the gameplay. The most similiar item I found was Thornmail, which resembles a bit of the old blade mail in DotA (the one that had passive 20% damage return).

Anyway, not they are. The only thing they have in common are gameplay.
It really depends on your hero and your playstyle. What is needed etc. For example if you play ashe, you don't want to gank too much before you hit lvl 6 cause you need farm. Evelyn on the other hand can start ganking at level 2.Ever17 wrote:

This isn't really a DoTA rip-off seeing as the damage system/heroes/items are almost completely different which also features a THOUSAND bugs and server bugs

I think I've completely lost hope in solo queue, earlier I played with some of the worst retards I've ever met on this game, seriously how the fuck do you let an enemy Rammus go 5:0 in the first 10 minutes thinking it's a good idea to chase him from the jungle and die towerdiving REPEATEDLY? And why do people NEVER(I'm not even exaggerating) buy wards, yet they still dare overextending and get ganked, oh wonders. This shit is beyond me.
Also I noticed there's some sort of correlation between grabbing ghost + flash and being a complete baddie.

New champs not that bad, she indeed is kinda quarky to use, but not as hard as everyone is making it out to be. I still think Anivia is harder lol.

Ugh, this game is really stupid,every 2 weeks they release a copied new hero that does the same shit as any other hero. This one is just like kassadin, except her damage output is far better.
Their rules of how to create a hero (anti-pattern, anti-fun etc) will really kill the game.
The new hero is fun to play.... for about 5 games after you totally wreck the shit out of everyone then she gets boring.

Removing the gold you receive for killing his mushrooms was the biggest buff he got.

yeah true, but for example if you want to tower dive and another champion interupts you and you strike him and after that the tower kills you and the gold and experience for the kill goes to the champion who only hit you once or twice.. well that's stupid feeding.i think these are pretty silly deaths but fortunately I'm getting out of this level where ppl do this.

That's why you double tower dive up to the tier 2 tower as a level 4 Singed LIKE A BOSS, get a kill, and still escape from the other guy trying to kill you.

I was just in one of the worst games I've ever played. Our team was Janna (me), Irelia, Alistar, LeBlanc, and Ashe. It should be noted that I was locked in as janna before any of them even picked their champion. Right away alistar tells leblanc to go bottom with him and starts saying how he's br and the #1 alistar. I knew right then we'd lost, but decide to go bottom anyway and just refuse to leave. My whole team flips out and tells me how bad I am for not being able to solo a lane, without me saying a word. Long story short, ashe sucks as mid and dies multiple times to kennen, leblanc sucks entirely and is 0 kills most of the game, alistar initiates randomly, irelia is completely horrible and dies while trying to gank anyone, and the entire game the chat log was filled with how bad I am, even though I am the only one warding and using clairvoyance. Why can't they just ban Brazilian ips?

This is the way Eve was meant to be played. I was tanking their fountain for about 20 sec while we aced their team inside it trololool
The game ended at 25 minutes. Team score was 13-1. I felt like Lybydose the entire time - had bloodrazors before 15 minutes, starks before 20
hexdrinker is also like the best item ever. it's practically a hard counter to karthus once a minute, since the shield will go off on the requiem counter debuff if you are below 30% health, practically eating the first two ranks of it without any spillover. it's eaten an akali mark, a dash, a null sphere which would have otherwise killed me, pantheon's ult, a bukkake shield which would have resulted in an ace for the enemy team and countless other occasions
300 magic damage doesn't sound like a whole lot but you'd be damn surprised how often it'll save you

Yea, Both teams got aced at the same time at one point (lol) but karthus was dead way before that, we had 2 inhibs and a shit load of super minions in their base, then karthus came toggled on defile.... As he was walking past the fucking super minions it looked like they were getting sucked in lol. He cleared everything so fast.

I think anivia is very hard to play.Especially her skillshot.It sure does dmg to everyone who it flies through but only stuns and gives you the extra damage for her e-skill when you hit the enemy right at the end of the range.And because it is very slow you can easily dodge it.Also her wall is a 'two sided blade'.I got rly good kills with it but also epic fails where I caught my mates and the enemy could escape..scar1410 wrote:

1st one was with jax(me),mf,mk,ryze and annie.our miss fortune did a very good job.got 3 kills early game in mid lane agianst the anivia and was playing very very good the whole match.but our mk was just sucking that hard.we said that he should absorb some dmg and go in first and he went straight in a tower cuddled by 5 enemies and so we lost important teamfights.even tough our carry was very good..

the enemy team was dumb for focusing you over your carries
whenever i play a tank these days i literally have to fight tooth and nail to have somebody actually try to kill me. it just reaches the point sometimes where i run towards the enemy team to initiate and they just make a beeline for my squishies without a single attack actually landing on me.

Thats why amumu, shen, rammus, and galio are the only tanks anyone uses for higher tier play.
Amumu can hold his own with damage and is great at drawing attention. Massive AoE disable.
Shen can taunt. His R is outstanding early/midgame.
Rammus can taunt. Can gank early on.
Galio taunts so hard a rift in the world opens.
Other than that there's a reason why every other tank is bad. Malphite is more of a tanky dps/disable, you just walk around with randuins, frozen heart, and ground slam their carry so they have 105% reduced attack speed. He doesnt have much else to hold peoples attention, but he needs that health to initiate and disable.
Gragas is tanky dps.
Mundo can literally be ignored after laning phase. He basically makes your team fight 4v5 if you have him on your team against smart players.
Garen just cries bitch tears while he waits for his ult to be up so he can actually DO something.
Alistar is ehh, all he can do is force carries into unsafe positions really. But probably more useful than mundo and garen as of late.
They actually just took a pretty big shot at tanky dps so the game definitely isnt going in the tanky direction.
