  2. Your diffs appear a bit too complex imo in terms of rhythym and spacings.
  3. K/F/M all need higher hp, suggest 7/6/5 respectively.

Vulkin's Kantan
Too long patterns and not enough breaks for a kantan, the chain from 00:40:792 especially needs some spacings. And this diff needs some breaks overall, even though bpm is low.
  1. Suggest you try something like this for the beginning section, cursor on 00:10:023 to have 2 rest moments in this section. I think this would be fine to help beginners read the different spacing here.
  2. You may want to consider using 1/1 doubles instead of triples in the calm part from 00:19:254 and remove notes like 00:21:305. Similar with:
    1. 00:23:356 ^
    2. 00:29:510 ^ etc.
  3. 00:54:126 suggests you're following vocal, but placement is not correct as the vocal lands on the blue tick. Either move 00:54:126 to 00:53:997 for vocal or to 00:54:638 and change 00:54:382 (90,91) to d for the instrument.
  4. 01:10:792 - d, see ^
  5. 00:56:946 - remove and move 00:58:485 to 00:59:510 and d? Would be better for breaks.

Futsuu
  1. I think 00:45:921 - this pattern could be nerfed a bit
  2. 00:56:691 - remove? nicer for instrument emphasis imo.
  3. Why are you following the main instrument at 00:12:588 and drums right before at 00:02:330 in the same section? I think you should try to be consistent in what you follow until 00:17:972.
  4. 00:18:741 - this part could use a finish for transition.
  5. 00:52:331 (122,123) ctrl+g, the first two notes match together better this way.
  6. you could simplify the part from 00:55:664 as bit. Maybe try something like this, cursor on 00:58:486. I think simpler patterns like this would work well.
  7. 01:16:049 - delete, too hard for futsuu.

Muzukashii
This diff has too complex patterns, you can't really expect muzu players to play that many multicoloured 1/4 patterns.
  1. 00:01:817 - patterns up to here would be great for a lead-in in the oni, but for muzu I suggest you simplify this part:
    1. 00:00:407 - remove
    2. 00:00:664 ^
    3. 00:00:921 (5,6) - ^
  2. 00:10:023 - 1/4 d triple and 00:10:536 - finish
  3. 00:55:151 - this should definitely be a k for the strong clap.
  4. I suggest you remove notes like 00:57:460 to give emphasis to the strong instruments sounds beforehand, just like you did at 01:01:306.
  5. 01:04:127 - remove, similar to ^.
  6. Try to have 01:07:972 stand alone as a finish and have some larger spacings beyond this point, this part feels too densely mapped otherwise. I suggest you use the two strong instrument sounds like ^ to set up short breaks.

Oni
  1. You should move the note from 00:18:677 to 00:17:908 or so, would be nicer if 00:18:742 has a finish.
  2. 00:25:921 - the instrument you're mapping is so soft, why not remove:
    1. 00:26:049 -
    2. 00:26:562 -
    3. 00:26:882 -
    This part is relatively calm, so I think lower note density works better.
  3. I think something like this, cursor on 00:53:613 could work nicely here. Because there is no sound on 00:53:485 and to follow the drums better.
  4. For the next part, maybe try something like this, cursor on 00:57:715 to follow the drums more closely. You may need to save some of the longer patterns and the sparing use of 1/8 for inner oni though, so you could also remove the notes from 00:58:870 and 00:59:126 here.

Inner Oni
  1. 00:09:638 - I don't think this stream is a good idea. This part is calm.
  2. Same with 00:17:844 and the others. I think stuff like 00:00:921 (5,6,7) is fine because it has support with the drum, but the long 1/8 does not feel fitting. This song is calm, and it creates a really weird contrast to the rest of the map. Just nerf the pattern length in oni a bit and have the long 1/4 patterns mixed with some 1/8 drum here.
It depends on what you do with the rest of the set on whether this diff fits, If you nerf the other diffs like suggested the set could still support this inner even without the long 1/8 and still not be too similar to oni.

I think you can nerf all the diffs a bit, patterns are a bit complex for futsuu and muzu especially, and kantan needs some larger breaks.

ERMAGURD! Thanks a lot for the mod! I changed quite a few things, and got rid of the stupid nasty sliders and those crazy 1/8th patterns. I hope the map is to everyone's liking as of now.

00:33:485 (39) - Remove it simply, 00:35:151 - exist so it's fine for this case.
00:35:151 (43,45,52) - I wouldn't say that these notes need to be kat, I find the difficulty had a clear structure when you use kat sounds and you shouldn't stop from here. I also believe that it won't be too boring if you have four don notes in a row, relating to 00:35:151 (43,44,45,46) - , it's just more obvious that you rather use for the snaps on spots like 00:38:741 (47) - or 00:40:792 (50) - .
00:40:792 (50) - I'd say that it fits better to 00:42:844 - , also because of the impact increase of the song itself it fits better.
00:48:485 (60,61,62,63,64) - Optional you could change this to D x d k d. I consider that as a more emphasing rhythm which works easier but more obvious.
00:51:562 - 00:56:177 - I'd do this part easier by removing 00:52:075 (66) - (to split the combo) and 00:56:177 (73) - (for a longer break of the sorta harder part of the map and to change 00:52:587 (67) - to d afterwards, mostly because it goes well and differs 00:53:101 (68) - more from the other don notes. Move 00:11:562 (20) - to 00:11:049 - and change it to kat, so it follows the snap sound of the music. Lastly change 00:10:536 (19) - to D because you also used that sound first at 00:02:331 (1) - and also for 00:06:433 (10) - and 00:14:638 (27) - as d sound. It sounds by far more consistent.
00:33:485 (64) - you kept 00:25:280 (49) - as don. 00:33:869 (65) - probably makes more sense to be kat because the vocals are slightly lighter but again I don't find it's necessary. Change (64) to d.
00:37:203 (70) - 00:39:767 (75) - similar to the point of kat usage in the Kantan difficulty I find you should consider that here too, and change the marked notes to don.

00:54:895 (108) - Leave this note out. I understand it supports 00:55:151 (109) - but I don't really think it's that important and it allows you have a little bigger break. As well, remove 01:11:306 (147) - and 01:19:510 (166) - .
01:25:151 (180,181) - Lastly, remove these notes to be consistent with the first things I've said for the difficulty.

[Muzukashii]
00:03:355 (4,5,6) - You should decide what exactly you want to follow. You mostly follow the snaps with kat notes - which is don here in (6)'s case. Then you put kat for (5) because of the piano (?) sound. And for whatever reason, (4) is also kat. I mean I somewhat see that you try to emphasize everything as good as possible but I don't think it really works and.. at least for this case I'd change (4) to d. Do this the same with 00:11:561 (31) - .
00:07:203 (15,16,17,18,19) - would do this to ddd k d instead if you ask me but anyways, depending on what exactly you want to use don notes and kat notes you should apply these changes if there are some. Switch 00:15:921 (45,46) - for this case too.
00:19:254 - personally I find 0.80x too much, I find 0.90x by far more natural and cooler, for 00:35:151 - you could change it to 0.95x or just move back to 1.00x.
00:19:254 - 00:35:151 - (I actually noticed that way later after I was already done with Futsuu) but Futsuu and Muzukashii are really really similar at this part. Oni uses a decent amount of doublets so maybe you could use some of them here too? At least you need to have a clearer difference between these two difficulties. While I don't think this always needs or should be done, here we only have some extra notes for Muzukashii but that's it.
00:41:049 (106) - That should rather be don, 00:40:280 (103,104,105) - sounds decent the way they are but d k k k d sounds not so natural at all.
00:43:869 (116) - Actually a snap sound where kat should belong.
00:45:921 (122,123) - as well here, switch them.
00:48:228 (129,130) - (130) may be removed to make (129) to don afterwards, it has a nicer flow and better transistion from 00:48:741 - .
01:12:332 (207) - I personally wouldn't consider this note as something contributing to the map, it "just" connects 01:11:561 (203,204,205,206) - with 01:12:588 (208,209,210,211,212) - but without anything that is significant in the song.

[Oni]

- Generally, longer streams like 00:00:663 (3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,12) - or 00:49:510 (191,192,193,194,195,196,197,198,199) - will be a problem, they rather feel like weird difficulty spikes you don't need to have at all. While the rest looks good by using multi-colour triplets and doublets I find they will be more than enough to suit the song and to give a challenge.


Conclusion: You have some nice ideas and approaches for the map and you're on a good way (I told you that before via IRC) but this isn't ready yet to let a BN go through. Mostly because of many inconsistency at the hitsound choice and rhythm choice. additionally, the weird difficulty gap of Futsuu-Muzukashii but also of Kantan and Oni with their spikes are causing problems meanwhile. That's all from my side, good luck!

HOLY MOD. That was probably the most informative mod I've recieved thus far. I made a buttload of changes especially for the lower difficulties, I've marked most of them and now i see this is a much better song than b4. Thanks a lot for this man!

In Oni diff, 00:00:280 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - little unmatched with sound to me.
since you followed the drum sound like 00:00:280 (1,2) - kd, 00:00:663 (3,4,5) - must be d kk cause of sound pitch imo.

up to the mapper, but I felt thats enough to emphasized since the loud drums are just 00:00:280 - 00:00:664 - these, 00:00:921 (4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - these sounds are just kick drums but if to follow the flow is not bad tho, kinda overemphasized imo

@Wolrd Fraction 00:01:818 - just kat this to emphasized the contrast of 00:01:305 (6,7,8,9) - these

if you want, you can apply that suggestion without update because its minor/little suggestion. doesnt need to rebubble
