Why would you force it to be blocked during gameplay? It should be an option! I play mutliple games at once and whenever I feel like quickly getting to the desktop I hit the windows key, and it's impossible to alt tab when no other windows are open for me because I'm on windows 7 with aero disabled. This is frustrating to the point where I'm considering making an AHK or C++ program just to hook the windows key and return it to normal functionality.
