If you press the button fast enough before the site reloads it sends the messages based on the amount you pressed. Just press once and be patient.

I know that is the case on the old website. But on the new website if I click more than once because it is being slow it normally tells me "you have recently posted. Please edit our previous post" or something along those lines.
