Reminds me,I -did- ask Takahashi whether the vocalist of mint tears is Dormir or not.
His response?He just posted the link of mint tear's staff blog article and mentioned ribbon rooms.

...But the article only revealed the composer of the song,and the guy who wrote the lyrics (forgot the term for that)
no info about the singer.

Maybe we should just take "tomosuke wrote mint tears" as fanon then.

I call dibs on Arumujika. :3 As soon as a HQ capture is out, so is the mp3. Very, very fun song and fun music. Not at all Arabian-style like its romanized title would suggest.

Oh and uh before I forget, regarding the new songs that came out on DS3 and have appeared in Taiko 14... if someone can find the finally higher quality audio of those? Particularly a better MP3 for Metal Hawk and Sweet Lay would be nice...

Turns out it's from AC14.0V,and has a 444-note balloon.
No 443 note OTL…though it fits in the 333,444,555 thing.(555 combo on Oni,333 combo on muzukashii)

When I read the documentation, there was one line there which seems to be a limitation: 'It can only read 16 lines' or something like that... or whatever, anyway,
I've been trying to make the chart for Total Eclipse's Kantan, but when I try to extend up to the 64th stanza the chart doesn't even appear anymore. In the sample files you gave me, dontena.txt can successfully be created while dontenb.txt cannot (also comes up with a blank chart). I don't understand what's happening here, maybe you have an idea?

EDIT: sample2.txt, which is Koibumi's chart, apparently has a workaround for this. I'm trying to see how it's done now...

EDIT2: apparently by adding

;|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

with the appropriate spaces depending on the #beatchar, you can pretty much exceed the limitations or something. The sample0 to sample2.txt actually uses all of these.

And now donscore is crashing on me when I try to put a drumroll longer than one signature. Darn it.

EDIT4: Well I finally found a workaround (apparently donscore acts weird if the denominator in the meter isn't set to 4) which involves having to force each new line since the drumroll algorithm is behaving very weirdly...

1/3 and 1/6 also work you know, the problem is the meter and not the beatcount. If only I had the source of doncscore, I'll try to fix it myself orz...

Just looked at the second batch of unlocks. (Looks like the rumored list is in fact true!)

Arumujika AC14.0V: Seems very complicated for a 9-star... I still have no idea why Akkugan ac12.5 isn't downgraded. Still fun to play though.
Scroll Mika: 10 STAR WTF. It's 8-star at best. Is Namco crazy or something? >.>
No Way Back (Ura): Pretty decent for a 10-star rating. That 1/6 section kills me tho.

Overall quite nice. But I can never get over the fact why Scroll Mika is upgraded to 10-star o.O"

I still suppose I'm the only one to think Akuugan Yuuei is still harder than this one. I've FC'd the last ac. after the 4th time (despite of the 40 tries with ac12.5... ^^"). And the only one to connect Arumujika to an Arbre Magique xD

So I finally was able to obtain the coordinates of objects in relation to SBE and the Compose tab...

...what I have left to figure out is the timing of the approach circles and I am pretty much fully set to re-do Hyakki Yakou's SB. I won't make TaikOsu for it though, so fake notes will be left to the osu! diffs only (since it's pretty much impossible to do such on osu!Taiko). I'm just annoyed at how the actual audio file has to include Kitsune's cries since I can't figure out a way to rip out the sound files.

Anyway I don't know how much more motivation I'll need, but this is to ascertain that I am actually still trying to figure out Hyakki Yakou here.

EDIT: Apparently if you get a Full Combo, you clear the stage, regardless of whether you filled Norma Clear.

I've been looking for more vids and Ryougen seems to be the most popular for these. They call it 'NN' plays (No Noruma or No Pass + No Miss).

Because no one ever thought an NN for Ryougen was humanly possible? :P I've seen it done before for Yawaraka Ura, Kurenai and Tenjiku, but not this.

Though if you think about it, if you've mastered all the songs, Ryougen will be one of the easiest to NN since you're creating the music from the chart itself unlike the other songs, which makes Ryougen special; mastering Ryougen pretty much means you can play without the music on, and thus you can follow your own beat instead of the music's beat. Yawaraka can have that property too, but the Senshas just sound so lol it's hard to ignore the music.

arken, there are tools to convert donscore files into .tga (? whatever files jiro uses). I happened to accidentally download it after looking for a more updated version of donscore, so I would know.

But... jiro uses ooxx(code) while osu! uses time-code ;_;

Agreed, it would be difficult, since formulas would need to be generated for conversion, plus I don't know if the structure of the data file of taikojiro is available; if it's available, then it might be possible seeing as how .osu is essentially just a text file, and that hitsounds are each controlled by just a binary value.

...wow I feel motivated to actually think about this stuff haha

We just add our FCs on the game, then interact at least once (we could trade crap for crap, just as long as there's an interaction so that we would have each others' full data), and Dream World will automatically neighbor us.

We could water each others' berries for more points AND berries :D and more berries = more furniture (I'm rushing the Modern House lol)

PSP2 news again orz. At the rate the Taiko 14 songs are being released there's a high chance Wii3 won't see Shimedore 2000 or SORA-IV :|

@Lokamp: Yeah, get me the links for both maps and I'll put them up (finally someone mapped BRS eh? Been waiting) Oh and, heads up, it's spelt a-v-a-i-l-a-b-l-e. Since it's a word you use pretty often, I thought I might point that out :)

It's not confirmed lol I was just assuming it since it's rare for a 2000 song to be released on a console before the arcade.

True, that, though what will be the kldgvajg unlockables of Wii3 if that happens though? I'm assuming 99999 counter will bring in every Ura and 2000 that weren't in Wii2 or something or what.

You know, maybe they'll just come through with the 2000 song. After all, there isn't any story mode songs to take up space anymore. Not that they were bad though- I love many of 'em.

...maybe this refers to a Wii connection mode for

1) use it as an alternative controller?
2) download some song samples on Ds?
3) unlock special outfits bout the new couple of drums? (I'm talking about the green Samurai and the Yellow visir)
4) all (or part) of these, and even more?

Too bad it's not textually refered ... Internet translators don't work with images xD

Beside, the new osu! updates have messed up all my sliders on Jungle P... It'll cost a "lot" of work, since I have to clear a pair of guest modes first.

By the way, thanks for posting the whole One Piece genealogy in Taiko games! It'll be one of the sooner article series, if A-Bluu doesn't post Miku (*vomit*) article soon...

(... if I'm not wrong, my first post in this LONG thread was for linking my Jungle P map... I've seen someone who searched it, but I don't remember who...)
