So I finally was able to obtain the coordinates of objects in relation to SBE and the Compose tab...

...what I have left to figure out is the timing of the approach circles and I am pretty much fully set to re-do Hyakki Yakou's SB. I won't make TaikOsu for it though, so fake notes will be left to the osu! diffs only (since it's pretty much impossible to do such on osu!Taiko). I'm just annoyed at how the actual audio file has to include Kitsune's cries since I can't figure out a way to rip out the sound files.

Anyway I don't know how much more motivation I'll need, but this is to ascertain that I am actually still trying to figure out Hyakki Yakou here.

EDIT: Apparently if you get a Full Combo, you clear the stage, regardless of whether you filled Norma Clear.

I've been looking for more vids and Ryougen seems to be the most popular for these. They call it 'NN' plays (No Noruma or No Pass + No Miss).

Because no one ever thought an NN for Ryougen was humanly possible? :P I've seen it done before for Yawaraka Ura, Kurenai and Tenjiku, but not this.

Though if you think about it, if you've mastered all the songs, Ryougen will be one of the easiest to NN since you're creating the music from the chart itself unlike the other songs, which makes Ryougen special; mastering Ryougen pretty much means you can play without the music on, and thus you can follow your own beat instead of the music's beat. Yawaraka can have that property too, but the Senshas just sound so lol it's hard to ignore the music.

arken, there are tools to convert donscore files into .tga (? whatever files jiro uses). I happened to accidentally download it after looking for a more updated version of donscore, so I would know.

But... jiro uses ooxx(code) while osu! uses time-code ;_;

Agreed, it would be difficult, since formulas would need to be generated for conversion, plus I don't know if the structure of the data file of taikojiro is available; if it's available, then it might be possible seeing as how .osu is essentially just a text file, and that hitsounds are each controlled by just a binary value.

...wow I feel motivated to actually think about this stuff haha

We just add our FCs on the game, then interact at least once (we could trade crap for crap, just as long as there's an interaction so that we would have each others' full data), and Dream World will automatically neighbor us.

We could water each others' berries for more points AND berries :D and more berries = more furniture (I'm rushing the Modern House lol)

Hey, the Seirogan map is already awaiable! Just check the "official" map lising:

You can find it by clicking Lokamp on the users list. Have fun!

(@aquabluu: remind to add to the Original Song List the two maps posted by by TW-KUMA01 in the osu thread about full listing! (My soul, your beats! and Black Rock Shooter). They aren't to the .osz format, so they need to be converted, first!)

PSP2 news again orz. At the rate the Taiko 14 songs are being released there's a high chance Wii3 won't see Shimedore 2000 or SORA-IV :|

@Lokamp: Yeah, get me the links for both maps and I'll put them up (finally someone mapped BRS eh? Been waiting) Oh and, heads up, it's spelt a-v-a-i-l-a-b-l-e. Since it's a word you use pretty often, I thought I might point that out :)

You know, maybe they'll just come through with the 2000 song. After all, there isn't any story mode songs to take up space anymore. Not that they were bad though- I love many of 'em.

...maybe this refers to a Wii connection mode for

1) use it as an alternative controller?
2) download some song samples on Ds?
3) unlock special outfits bout the new couple of drums? (I'm talking about the green Samurai and the Yellow visir)
4) all (or part) of these, and even more?

Beside, the new osu! updates have messed up all my sliders on Jungle P... It'll cost a "lot" of work, since I have to clear a pair of guest modes first.

By the way, thanks for posting the whole One Piece genealogy in Taiko games! It'll be one of the sooner article series, if A-Bluu doesn't post Miku (*vomit*) article soon...

Short update this time,announcing
that taiko PSP2 reached its 100th song.
At least that's what I understood with
my shoddy japanese knowledge.

Also,we'll have more info on Wii3's song
list this friday.
I can't wait!
Hope we'll see moar kikyoku(zeihen plz,shunyuu kinda sux),
tatsh,SORA and new 2000 songs.

Hey, why not? Wandering wish lists can partially inspire the Namco heads for the future console games! (I still hope into a Taiko Wii4 with wi-fi support for downloading new song, just as seen on PSP 2...)
Here are my wishes, rounded up by genre:

J-Pop
Ouendan-inspired songs - This can be an unusual turn of improving! I loved the 8* Kokoro Odoru.
Punishment - No further comments needed. 9mm Parabellum Bullet, give us a sign of life!

Anime
Tank! - I'm already fullfied with the new One Piece song, but an Ura release for the Anime category can make more spicier the selection.

Children/Folk
... maybe a return of the 9* Mori no Kumasan?

Variety
Yawaraka Sensha - here's a good way for asking me some apologises for the horrid Miku appearance; maybe with the squishy tanks, please!

Classic
New impossible Oni modes - why only Chopin and Mozart can play with 10*? Classic genre is always a solid part of Taiko games, after all.

Game Songs
Make Inu Henjou - already asked, but a double wave of hopes is priceless. :3
IN THE ZONE - 1/6 speed training never ends. 765 for the win!
Some Zuntata tracks about Puzzle Bobble games - I'm getting sick of only shooter-related songs...

Namco Original
Shunyuu & Zeihen - in opposition of crystalsuicune's denigratory comment about shunyuu, I insist the new song is ages better than zeihen. Both the songs are anyways invited to the party!
*2000 - Okay for Shimedore, but if there's something MORE to discover? Getting curious...

@aqua: why don't you propose something similar to our blog readers? Maybe with a poll which results will be sent to the T.Team guys with Twitter...
