Dream Taiko Land is the land of minigames. So far there seem to be at least 7 of 'em. All playable with 4 people. Everyday Dojo is also coming back, though obviously less important than the new gimmick.
What, that means no new storyline? :< ...the page isn't even done anyway so I'll still be hopeful lol. But it seems to me like they're emphasizing the multiplayer aspect in Wii3, much like PS2 6.

Some extra info for them mint tears article:
I think "Dormir' either refers to the singer Crimm or an alias for the composer Tomosuke (when he's collabing with Crimm).
In mint tear's case,it probably refers to the latter.The vocals for mint tears sounds suspiciously like Crimm's,
and the song's overall style sounds very similar to Tomosuke's works. (I'm looking at you,Cookie Bouquets,though
some say it sounds like Tomosuke's works under the "orange lounge" alias)

When I read the documentation, there was one line there which seems to be a limitation: 'It can only read 16 lines' or something like that... or whatever, anyway,
I've been trying to make the chart for Total Eclipse's Kantan, but when I try to extend up to the 64th stanza the chart doesn't even appear anymore. In the sample files you gave me, dontena.txt can successfully be created while dontenb.txt cannot (also comes up with a blank chart). I don't understand what's happening here, maybe you have an idea?
EDIT: sample2.txt, which is Koibumi's chart, apparently has a workaround for this. I'm trying to see how it's done now...

So I finally was able to obtain the coordinates of objects in relation to SBE and the Compose tab...
...what I have left to figure out is the timing of the approach circles and I am pretty much fully set to re-do Hyakki Yakou's SB. I won't make TaikOsu for it though, so fake notes will be left to the osu! diffs only (since it's pretty much impossible to do such on osu!Taiko). I'm just annoyed at how the actual audio file has to include Kitsune's cries since I can't figure out a way to rip out the sound files.
Anyway I don't know how much more motivation I'll need, but this is to ascertain that I am actually still trying to figure out Hyakki Yakou here.

I've been looking for more vids and Ryougen seems to be the most popular for these. They call it 'NN' plays (No Noruma or No Pass + No Miss).

Because no one ever thought an NN for Ryougen was humanly possible? I've seen it done before for Yawaraka Ura, Kurenai and Tenjiku, but not this.

I didn't realize that's Ryougen orz
Though if you think about it, if you've mastered all the songs, Ryougen will be one of the easiest to NN since you're creating the music from the chart itself unlike the other songs, which makes Ryougen special; mastering Ryougen pretty much means you can play without the music on, and thus you can follow your own beat instead of the music's beat. Yawaraka can have that property too, but the Senshas just sound so lol it's hard to ignore the music.

It can be impossible to get hold of the audio for the maps. Getting the notecharts themselves is easy, but you have to provide the audio yourself.crystalsuicune wrote:

arken, there are tools to convert donscore files into .tga (? whatever files jiro uses). I happened to accidentally download it after looking for a more updated version of donscore, so I would know.

Agreed, it would be difficult, since formulas would need to be generated for conversion, plus I don't know if the structure of the data file of taikojiro is available; if it's available, then it might be possible seeing as how .osu is essentially just a text file, and that hitsounds are each controlled by just a binary value.

PSP2 news again orz. At the rate the Taiko 14 songs are being released there's a high chance Wii3 won't see Shimedore 2000 or SORA-IV

It's not confirmed lol I was just assuming it since it's rare for a 2000 song to be released on a console before the arcade.
True, that, though what will be the kldgvajg unlockables of Wii3 if that happens though? I'm assuming 99999 counter will bring in every Ura and 2000 that weren't in Wii2 or something or what.

You know, maybe they'll just come through with the 2000 song. After all, there isn't any story mode songs to take up space anymore. Not that they were bad though- I love many of 'em.
