Hello! From my queue.

This map is actually amazing, it surprised me so much! It actually looks alot like a map Hollow Wings would do, but alot more playable so you are far better :)

This obviously isn't your first map, but you can tell that you have some experience in making something with good quality, there are alot of issues still which i will try to tell you, but for me it was still a nice effort you did!


Huge Wall of Text
-First off, you don't need Tamayurahotaru ABSOLUTE CASTAWAY as tags, as those are already the title of the map.
-Second, the timing is wrong, these are what i think are more correct, but you can probably find an even more accurate:

All points need the 3/4 waltz timing to fit best. And also to set offset, just look at the time and type it on the offset bar, example: 00:50:409 = 50409 offset; 1:00:860 = 60860 (the first 60 means one minute passed, thats why 1 minute = 60 000 offset, easy math :D
Also all these timing points mean you need to fix the whole inherited points (green lines), fix slider lengths, etc, so now i did a new diff for me to just show the other stuff of the map with the timing you had

00:09:964 (3) - Don't place this circle behind the slider, (overlapping this is called) makes it hard to read.
00:39:964 (1,1,1) - I think you should remove all these New Combos, having these 4 circles 00:39:535 (1,1,1,1) - be the same combo is better looking and less confusing.
00:43:178 (1,1,1) - Remove, same as above ^
00:45:428 (1,1,1) - ^
00:46:821 (1,1) - Make this slider longer, just like in 00:41:357 (1) - , because it is confusing, the first slider was slower and the player was used to move less than now, so making the slider have different speed but being same size makes it hard to read.

00:50:357 (2) - Please add New combo here, different slider speed = different combo

Asked me to look at this.

Since you're new, I'm just gonna give you general tips so you can go back and fix some bits.


You need custom circle colors so the circles contrast the background (Also so you can actually rank / approve it)

You've placed hitsounds on most of the notes. Having too many will annoy the player, so you want to single-out the most important sounds and place a hitsound on those. An example would be removing the hitsounds on 03:42:431 (3,4) - so the importance is now on 03:42:860 (1) -

01:54:752 (2,1) - Circles can't cover reverse arrows according to the ranking criteria.

Certain parts could look better by shifting a couple notes. Patterns like 01:45:431 (4,5,6) - and 03:35:574 (3,5) - don't look very good because of the partial overlaps. Spacing out the pattern slightly will make it look better.

For good structure, you rarely want to hand place. Learn to use copy / rotate / flip so everything looks structured.
A part that could look better by using tools would be 03:54:431 (1,2,3) - Copy 1, and paste it where 2 would be, then press ctrl+r. This'll bring up the rotate window. Since this is a pattern of 3 bits, rotate the part 120 degrees and it should be able to fit in perfectly. Repeat for 3. Look back on other patterns like this to see what could look better.

Overall the map had a lot of nice concepts, but it's polishing still needs a lot of work.

Finally, a personal tip. Since you're a new mapper, you're going to have to learn a lot before you rank a set. I suggest practicing on shorter songs (Less than a minute) so you have an opportunity to learn without modders having too much work and not having so much information thrown at you.

It's difficult to critique these points since you can always argue that it fits the style of the rest of the map, but more often than not I think it fits, so great job on this map even though I still think some of the jumps are a bit too large :)

Nice map, had some interesting patterns, but were still surprisingly playable

This is more of a personal thing but I think mappers should avoid too many cross screen jumps, they just feel overdone, and your map has a lot

01:06:431 (3,4) - 3 and 4 could be sliders if you want to play around with rhythm but up to you. I think it sounds interesting and fills up some empty space. 3 could also turn into a reverse slider and then a note could be placed on the red tick before the next NC.

Though you dont need to change your patterning I'd look back at some of your sections where it overlaps a whole bunch in a chunk of music and consider either spacing it out or changing the pattering of it. imo. You dont need to change it but I think it would be overall cleaner.
02:32:360 (2,3,4) - Spacing is different for each make it consistant.
02:39:431 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - Looks messy and crunched together.
02:45:860 (1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1,1) - I actually enjoy this one more than the other one.
03:25:717 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2,3,4) - Maybe extend the spacing on this part?
03:28:717 (1,2,3,4) - Sliderends slightly overlap eachother and dont look as clean as that second 1,1,1,etc slider spam.

  3. 02:07:716 (1,1,1,1,2) - 把鼓的音效去掉,跟后面保持一致
  4. 02:11:145 (1) - 我建议不用折返,用1/2滑条。后面类似的地方同理
  5. 02:18:003 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5) - 这几个combo的123,每一次反复的时候移动的距离可以多一点,多移动现在两倍的距离。这样视觉上看着比较明显,打起来也舒服一些
  6. 02:28:288 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5) - 这一组试试每次反复旋转一个小角度?可能比现在的更好玩
  7. 02:37:288 (1,2,3) - 推荐把这里用1拍的滑条盖过去

个人感觉,flow什么的挺好,打起来ok。但间距变化感觉目的性不强,有点随机,而且排版上感觉很粗糙。很多可以不碰的,可以包的更整齐的地方,都处理的不太好。如果未来有可能remap的话,多留意下排版整齐的问题吧。可以试试看1/2直滑条的角度统一在15度和75度的位置,这样做下来比较容易让排版更整洁。

个人感觉,flow什么的挺好,打起来ok。但间距变化感觉目的性不强,有点随机,而且排版上感觉很粗糙。很多可以不碰的,可以包的更整齐的地方,都处理的不太好。如果未来有可能remap的话,多留意下排版整齐的问题吧。可以试试看1/2直滑条的角度统一在15度和75度的位置,这样做下来比较容易让排版更整洁。

跳有点缺乏规律...比如01:01:717 (5,1) - 和01:12:002 (5,6) - ,同样的地方,有个跳了有个没跳,这就有点inconsistent,整体的感觉是除了跳都偏简单了,大多数地方比较贪吃蛇,就像一个advanced的排列里突然混进几个做的不错的Extra的梗,不能说不好,只是不太合适,我个人是比较建议把主歌的排列再改改,加点跳跃感就更好了,很多本来可以小跳平衡难度的地方你都直接ds了,就感觉有点不合适()
01:23:788 - 感觉这里是不是漏音了
02:18:003 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5) - 像这里,你这么摆的话大DS强调的都是4,但是5才是重音,这样你强调的地方和曲子强调的地方就错开了,所以我觉得4最好和123考得近一点而不是和5,像02:28:288 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5) - 你后面这样

变SV太多了,这么多我觉得可能不可读。本来你选的SV就比较低,一放慢立马就感受出来了,变得太频繁以至于对player缺乏足够的提示,很可能适应不了,而且因为你一变SV就要NC,整个NC看起来感觉会比较乱,所以要是能去掉一部分变SV就好了,不用变依然有办法可以达到那个效果
overlap有点多...比如02:16:717 (1,2,1,2) - ,如果你想叠尾巴的话,我会推荐完全stack,现在你的这种叠法看起来比较敷衍,有那个意思但是做的又不够精细,像blanket那样,然后是02:19:288 (1,2,3) - 这种,这里的节奏挺好的,梗也能懂,但是我会更推荐把这里的缩小一点或者放大一点,因为这种要lap不lap的其实挺难看的...你要不lap1/4或者一半都可以,只要让别人看出来你是想lap而不是看起来不小心lap了这样....不知道我说清楚了没有,像这样看起来意图很清楚
02:34:717 - 从这里开始节奏突然就软下来了,然后02:41:145 (1,2,1) - 这里也是,其实我觉得特意去跟vocal其实不是特别必要,它也就是整个曲子的一个轨,这里包括前面的Kiai其实都是很激昂的,你1/2的鼓也塞了不少了,其实一直这么塞就可以了,突然这么停一下感觉很突兀
