  4. 02:28:638 (1) - same as in the prior Kiai, it just feels kinda boring like this, however i may not be able to judge that properly, since i rarely play beginners anymore

00:27:334 (4,1) - Again about spacing. Compare with the spacing at 00:26:402 (1,2) - . You're lacking a spacing concept that properly identifies what's 1/2 and whats 1/1 so it creates a confusing spacing for players.
00:32:738 (2,3) - ^ Maybe add a circle on 00:33:297 - .
00:34:228 (2) - 00:35:346 (1,2) - etc... Spacing really needs work.

Spacing
A spacing issue simply means that your spacing is not reflective of the time gap in between objects. Please alter the spacing so that visually, players are able to recognize which objects are 1/2 spaced and which ones are 1/1 spaced. Lets look at some examples if you are unsure!



As you see, visually, this pattern seems straight-forward. Everything looks evenly spaced visually. But wait! 3>4 is not actually 1/2 spaced in timeline, it's 1/1. But because the pattern is arranged like this, players are very likely to click 4 too early, causing them to miss. This is generally confusing to players, and is a spacing issue. You can remedy this by increasing the spacing between 3>4 to make it more obvious to players that there is a 1/1 gap instead of a normal 1/2 gap.

Something like this would work! Now it's obvious that there is more time in between 3 and 4.

In general, I don't really see the need for so many 3* difficulties. If you're going to have so many difficulties, I'd suggest you at least make the final difficulty harder than 4.11. The difficulty doesn't even make the minimum star rating for insane.

Hello! I was directed here by your queue. Apologies for taking so long. Poking around, it looks like you have that remap finished, so I'll assume I'm good to go.

General:
- In this mapset, (at least to me) it looks like you're focusing more on making cool patterns than on the music, especially in the higher difficulties like Actively and Famously. Not that you can't have patterns, but it seems to me like you're forcing the music to fit the patterns, not the other way around.
- Your hitsounds are pretty loud. Where they're at 100% volume, they should probably be somewhere around 75% at most.
- 01:55:843 (1) - This spinner was fine for the first two difficulties, but I'd say start substituting it for other things in all the other difficulties.
- 02:25:657 - I'd try to emphasize the vocal directly right here.

Slowly:

- Honestly, this difficulty seems a little redundant. I don't know about you, but if I had a map that was 1.36 stars, I wouldn't see the need for a map that's 1.11 stars. Although the map does look pretty clean.

Easily:

- 02:25:657 (4) - I'd suggest either making this a slider, or putting in a break afterward. It's extremely abnormal for an Easy to have a pause for that long. That's the only thing I'd suggest, though.

Normally:

- 00:57:706 (1) - I suggest making this a 1/1 slider with a reverse arrow, given that the entire song, you've been matching up with vocals.
- 01:42:241 (4,5,6,7,8) - Long chains of circles like this probably shouldn't be in a Normal difficulty.

Moderately:

- 00:24:166 (4) - Watch your spacing here. This object is really close to (3).

Quickly:

- Your spacing is still all over the place in this difficulty. It's especially prevalent in the Kiai sections.
- 01:43:918 (1) - Weird 3/4 sliders are weird. I'm assuming this wasn't intentional.
- 01:47:644 (3,4,5) - I can't tell what part of the song you're following here.
- 02:33:110 (4) - Ctrl-G this slider to improve flow.
- 02:58:079 (7,1) - A prime and rather obnoxious example of your spacing gone rampant. Jumps like this probably shouldn't be in a Hard difficulty.

Actively:

- 01:42:427 (1,2,3,4) - Instead of making these 1/4 sliders with reverse arrows, try having them be just plain circles with jumps.
- 01:48:390 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - These streams don't seem to follow anything. It seems overmapped to me.
- 03:02:924 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - See above.

Famously:

- There are a whole ton of beats here that should be clickable, but aren't. 00:26:961 (3) - This slider is a fantastic example. The tail of the slider has a strong vocal on it, but what does the head have? As far as I can tell, maybe a weak drum beat. When it comes to sliders, especially in higher difficulties like this, the stronger beats should always be clickable over the weaker ones. This encompasses a lot of the problems I have with this particular difficulty.
- 00:35:533 (2) - There's absolutely nothing in the music right here, yet there's a circle right here. This is what I mean by "forcing the music to fit the patterns." Unfortunately, the music alters itself for no one.
- 02:18:949 (3,4,5,6) - Generally, having the players move in a straight line isn't a good idea. It's less comfortable to play than one would think.

And that's it for me! The lower difficulties look very polished to me! My best advice would be to focus more on the strong beats in the higher difficulties, and adjust your rhythm to emphasize those. Good luck!

- 01:55:843 (1) - This spinner was fine for the first two difficulties, but I'd say start substituting it for other things in all the other difficulties. I don't think mapping it will be an improvement. Having it mapped in some difficulties and skipped in others looks lazy.
- 02:25:657 - I'd try to emphasize the vocal directly right here. You mean the "ooooooo"? Fixed in some difficulties.

Slowly:

- Honestly, this difficulty seems a little redundant. I don't know about you, but if I had a map that was 1.36 stars, I wouldn't see the need for a map that's 1.11 stars. Although the map does look pretty clean. True, but it's not really causing a problem to have a few more difficulties than necessary. It's much better than not having them. I'll see if anyone else mentions this.

Easily:

- 02:25:657 (4) - I'd suggest either making this a slider, or putting in a break afterward. It's extremely abnormal for an Easy to have a pause for that long. That's the only thing I'd suggest, though. I added another circle.

Normally:

- 00:57:706 (1) - I suggest making this a 1/1 slider with a reverse arrow, given that the entire song, you've been matching up with vocals. Fixed~
- 01:42:241 (4,5,6,7,8) - Long chains of circles like this probably shouldn't be in a Normal difficulty. Fixed very slightly.

Moderately:

- 00:24:166 (4) - Watch your spacing here. This object is really close to (3). Fixed~

Quickly:

- Your spacing is still all over the place in this difficulty. It's especially prevalent in the Kiai sections.
- 01:43:918 (1) - Weird 3/4 sliders are weird. I'm assuming this wasn't intentional.
- 01:47:644 (3,4,5) - I can't tell what part of the song you're following here.
- 02:33:110 (4) - Ctrl-G this slider to improve flow.
- 02:58:079 (7,1) - A prime and rather obnoxious example of your spacing gone rampant. Jumps like this probably shouldn't be in a Hard difficulty. Fixed all~

Actively:

- 01:42:427 (1,2,3,4) - Instead of making these 1/4 sliders with reverse arrows, try having them be just plain circles with jumps. I'm not going to ignore the drums here.
- 01:48:390 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - These streams don't seem to follow anything. It seems overmapped to me. ^
- 03:02:924 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9,10) - See above. ^

Famously:

- There are a whole ton of beats here that should be clickable, but aren't. 00:26:961 (3) - This slider is a fantastic example. The tail of the slider has a strong vocal on it, but what does the head have? As far as I can tell, maybe a weak drum beat. When it comes to sliders, especially in higher difficulties like this, the stronger beats should always be clickable over the weaker ones. This encompasses a lot of the problems I have with this particular difficulty. I was following the instruments there. Hmm. Maybe I should still include the stronger vocals. I'll switch around a few things.
- 00:35:533 (2) - There's absolutely nothing in the music right here, yet there's a circle right here. This is what I mean by "forcing the music to fit the patterns." Unfortunately, the music alters itself for no one. Fixed. This was a mistake. I wasn't trying to overmap it.
- 02:18:949 (3,4,5,6) - Generally, having the players move in a straight line isn't a good idea. It's less comfortable to play than one would think. Fixed~

And that's it for me! The lower difficulties look very polished to me! My best advice would be to focus more on the strong beats in the higher difficulties, and adjust your rhythm to emphasize those. Good luck!

Quickly

  1. I noticed some inconsistencies. For the most part, rhythm is identical, but placing four 1/2 circles is much more difficult than placing two 1/2 sliders. Some examples: ( 01:37:955 (1,2,3,4,5) - 02:52:489 (1,2,3,4) - ) These have identical music. The way you mapped it, hitsound will place at same beats, but 01:37:955 (1,2,3,4,5) - is more difficult than 02:52:489 (1,2,3,4) -. I don’t think this is non-negligible. Repeating same flow/pattern will be boring, but I still think we could use more consistency.
  2. Along the same line, 01:17:085 (1,2,3) - 02:31:620 (1) - has same beats, but they will play very differently.
  3. 01:18:576 (6,7,8,9,10) - 02:33:110 (4,5,6,7) - Same here, 01:18:576 (6,7,8,9,10) - feels non-negligibly more difficult. Sometimes maps are repetitive and boring, other times inconsistent and confusing. I am not sure where the boundary exactly lies, but I think this diff definitely crossed that boundary toward being inconsistent and confusing.
  4. And as the final words on this: If one chorus is to be more difficult than other, I think it should be the second chorus. In this diff, first chorus has more clicks, which makes it more difficult to acc and aim.
  5. 01:39:073 (3,4,5) - 5 is different from 3,4, so I think they shouldn’t be symmetric

  1. 00:55:657 (2,3,4) - 01:07:582 (2,3,4) - I don’t think triangle with same distance fits here nicely here. Symmetric shape with same DS yells identical emphasis, but (based on the music) I think 2 should be emphasized most, 3, and lastly 1.
  2. 01:02:924 (3,4,5,6,7,1) - 01:05:905 (3,4,5,6) - I think this is more difficult than it deserves
  3. 01:23:980 (4,5,6,1) - I think flow could be improved. Relatively big jump with with no sharp turn is awkward to hit at this level.
  4. 01:23:980 (4,5,6,1) - I see a lot of similar patterns in the map, and they almost feel lazy to me. These patterns are frankly just variations of symmetric sliders. I don’t think any of them were terribly misused, but definitely overused IMO. (00:17:458 (1,2,3,4) - 00:48:762 (1,2,3,4) - 01:04:415 (4,5,1,2) - 01:37:955 (1,2,3,4) - etc).
  5. 01:36:464 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - 02:50:998 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - Too much single tapping, a triple, and stacked notes. This part needs emphasis, but I think it might be too challenging compared to rest of the map.
  6. 02:35:346 (3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6) - I think this is little too much 1/2 beats, especially compared with 01:20:067 (1,2,3,4,1) -
  7. 03:03:669 (7,8,9,10,11) - Intentionally wriggly slider? I don’t think it was very effective here.
  8. 03:02:924 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Consider making these repeating sliders because 1) these 1/4 beats are rather small compared to 03:03:669 (7,8,9,10,11) - , and 2) difficulty reasons.
I mainly focused on Quickly and Actively, because my attention span doesn't last much longer than 1 hour xD

This mod was had more subjective stuff than most other mods I give. I hope you'll find at least some of them helpful /w\. Good luck!

Generally , this map feels very center heavy. press Ctrl+A to see what I mean; the entire top left and top right corners are ignored. Not sure if this is just your style or something, but it makes the map feel like a donut at times, where you just kinda wrap around the center.

01:17:831 (2,3) - This blanket looks thinner on the right than on the left

01:49:880 - I suggest mapping this downbeat.

01:55:843 (1) - end this on the drum at 01:59:942 - ?

02:36:092 (2,1) - this blanket changes width, keep the distance between the sliders consistent for neatness

Overall, this diff is rather fine but consider the corners thing I mentioned earlier.

[Normal]

This map similarly has the centered feel to it (ctrl+a to see the ignored corners) but its not a huge deal to be honest. I'm not really one to think that it's a problem but beware others may believe so.

00:19:880 (2,3) - not a fan of the way you map this since you're ignoring 00:20:253's sound which you don't do in the other parts

00:23:793 - Why ignore this sound?

01:48:762 - Shouldn't ignore this drum imo

01:49:880 - just like in easy, consider mapping this downbeat

01:55:843 (1) - I suggest ending this at 01:59:942

Not sure if Roughly -> Famously counts as showing difficulty properly, I think this is just 2 custom diff names which is unrankable.

Spread balance is a bit odd, your Normal is pretty much an Easy diff, and your Hard is also on the easier side, since it has no 1/4 rhythming. But then the Insane adds triplets into its largest jump patterns. Maybe get more opinions on your spread, since I'm not the most knowledgeable x:

Famously

If you hit ctrl+a you can see you haven't placed any circles near the corners or edges. In other words, you've only used 2/3 of the screen, and most of the time you just use the dead centre. This can leave your map feeling cramped or the cursor motions feeling really repetitive. You should aim to use the entire screen in the future. This has kinda been an issue with your entire mapping style up to this point, but since you mostly map easier diffs it hasn't been a big issue. It's very noticeable in this Insane diff, though; compare to this other diff of similar length and star rating or this shorter diff mapped in a symmetry style as well.

I think you should remap to use more of the screen, but I guess in case you don't:
  1. 01:29:011 (1,2) - I barely have to move my cursor at all here, I think you should use a different pattern here to fit the strong vocals. Compare to 01:17:085 (1,2) - where there's a lot of motion. This also applies to 02:31:620 (1,2) - and 02:43:545 (1,2) - .
  2. 01:55:843 (1) - This should really be properly mapped imo, instead of just a spinner :<

00:29:197 (5,1) - It seems like you're following the vocals here, in that case 5 should get the emphasis rather than the downbeat. If you want to switch to the synth line then the jump here shouldn't be this big because the vocal has such a strong emphasis on the red tick and by the time the player gets to the downbeat the momentum is already lost, ie. nerf jump if switching instruments.
00:35:346 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - so there are 2 rhythm patterns here that you can try to emphasise: the synth goes like white -> red -> white tick (00:35:346 (1,4,7) - ) and the drums + vocals go like 1/2s (00:35:346 (1,3,5,7) - ) . The 1/2s play better in general and you can always hitsound the red tick to emphasise the synth on the way. You can map them either 1/2 sliders (which is what I would do) or 1/2 circles like these, but if you choose to map circles you have to make the spacing from red to white ticks somewhat bigger, maybe like , 1.2x , white -> red 1.0x .

You could use Regraz and Jonawaga's Collab Light Insane or just Collab Light Insane if you think the former would be too long.
