Hi, you requested.
General:
- It’s not necessary to have “tiger & bunny” and “the beginning” in the tags since it’s already in the source.
Hazu’s Insane:
- 00:19:053 – Unnecessary green line. You can remove it.
- 00:05:683 (2) –Perhaps try placing this circle somewhere around here: X:313 Y:300 for better flow. Right now it can be a bit uncomfortable since the circle is placed to the right more.
- 00:10:085 (2,4) –I would try stacking this. Aesthetically it’ll look much better.
- 00:10:411 (1,2,3) –This suggestion is more for the “look” of the diff, but anyways, it’ll look more appealing if the distances of these three objects were similar (if they were equally apart from each other) Like this:
I just moved the (2) to the left a bit. - 00:35:358 (1,2) –Decrease the distance between these two objects a bit so 00:35:683 (3) – is emphasized more. Like you did here: 00:36:012 (1,2,3) – so it’s also for consistency.
- 00:38:618 (3) –The bigger spacing should be on this note instead since the beat is stronger here. So decrease the distance here: 00:37:966 (1,2) – (the beat on (2) is weak anyways so a big spacing for it don’t really fit) and make sure the distance here: 00:38:455 (2,3) – is a bit bigger.
- 00:45:139 (1) –A new combo isn’t really needed here. The music don’t really suggest it and it looks out of place.
- 00:56:716 (2,3,4) –Not sure if this kind of weird stack is intentional.... it’s not similar to 00:58:020 (2,3,4) – so I guess it’s not. If it is intentional I still suggest stacking it normally for consistency.
- 00:58:835 (1,2) –Decrease the distance here a bit so it’s more similar to the spacing here: 00:57:531 (1,2) – For consistency and also cause the spacing here: 00:58:835 (1,2) – just looks a bit too big and the music isn’t really that strong.
- 01:05:194 (5) –Perhaps add NC here? Just a suggestion to emphasize that strong beat.
- 01:22:966 (3) –I suggest increasing the distance here a bit to emphasize the finish on the head.
- 01:24:271 (4,5) –I suggest turning these two objects into a 1/1 slider and a circle. It catches the vocals a bit better imo and also for a bit of variety since you used ½ sliders here too: 01:22:966 (3,4,1,1,2) –
Hard:
- 00:01:445 –A green line may not be on a red line, except to change the slider velocity. In this case you didn’t change the slider velocity so the green line should be removed. The values on the green line should be transferred to the red line. This applies to Normal too.
- 00:03:238 (1) –I suggest rather ending this slider here: 00:03:401 – There isn’t really a clear beat on 00:03:483 – so I don’t see a reason to map it out. Also, the rhythm sounds better with a ½ slider imo.
- 00:07:967 (5) –I suggest adding new combo here and removing it here: 00:08:618 (1) – since the stronger beat is on (5). Then you can add NC here: 00:09:108 (2) –
- 00:09:271 –This is a very important beat especially with the finish emphasizing it too. I suggest a pattern like this instead to catch that important beat:
A beat like that you usually want clickable so the player has feedback and can follow the rhythm of the music nicely. - 00:15:793 (1,2,3,4) –These objects look quite close to each other... Looks a bit too close. Consider increasing the distance just a bit so it looks better visually.
- 00:19:216 (2) –Since this is quite a strong beat, I suggest increasing the distance a bit for a tiny jump to emphasize that.
- 00:25:738 (3,4) –Since (4) is a strong finish, I suggest rather not stacking them otherwise you’re taking the emphasis away and making the pattern too easy to play. Space them out.
- 00:57:532 (1,2) –Why did you place a jump here, but not here: 00:56:227 (1,2) - 00:58:836 (1,2) – Looks inconsistent. Rather remove that jump.
- 01:09:923 (3) –I don’t really understand the jump here since there isn’t any strong beat/vocal. Rather remove the jump. Usually in a Hard it’s advised to add jumps where you can really hear that it will fit.
- 01:32:749 (5) –Same as 00:07:967 (5) –
- 01:43:021 (5) -^, add NC here. Very important beat. Remove NC here: 01:43:836 (1) –
- The use of the normal-whistles somewhere in the middle was a bit random for me, since you started adding them but then just suddenly stopped. I’m not sure what your intentions are with that. Applies to Normal too.
Normal:
- 00:09:271 –Again, I really don’t think it’s a good idea to leave out this important beat. Something like this might work better:
- 00:24:923 (1) –Nazi, but lift the tail of this slider upwards a bit for better flow from 00:24:597 (4) –
- 00:22:314 (1,4) –Hmm, I guess it would have been nice if this was stacked or something.. probably not such a big issue.
- 00:24:597 (4,2) –This stack isn’t really such a good idea though. The head of the slider of (2) is taking some time to become visible completely so it’s still hidden beneath 00:24:597 (4) – This can cause confusion for beginners since they can’t see the object clearly. Try to prevent stacks like this in the easier diffs.
- 00:28:184 (2,1) –Hmm, can’t you try to avoid this overlap? >.<
- 00:50:847 (1) –Not really such a nice shape. I suggest trying something different.
Moei’s Easy:
- 00:07:315 (5,1) –Try to avoid this overlap. In the easiest diff it’s always the best option to keep the objects as visible as possible so the beginners can play with ease. Just try placing (1) somewhere where it doesn’t touch anything.
- 00:17:096 (1,1) – This is definitely not fine. The reaction time between the spinner and the next object is very short. It should be at least 4 beats.
The Easy diff still has to be polished up a bit more. There are a lot of places with overlappings. I did point out one and I’m sure you know the others that I’m talking about. Also, try to avoid stacking too much in an Easy. You did this a lot too. I’ll point out a few places: 00:05:031 (2,4) - 00:31:118 (2,4) - 00:33:400 (5,1) – etc. You’ll notice that the object beneath takes a while to become fully visible and you don’t want that since the beginner players might get confused. Rather avoid stacks like that.
Also, just make sure that your wriggling sliders are fine. They are very dodgy since it almost looks like the speed changes a bit because of the wriggle which isn’t really allowed. These are examples: 01:11:879 (1,2) –
Good Luck~
