London MCM Expo

London Excel. 29th-31st October

Biggest UK convention basically, 3 days long, can't get in on friday unless you've pre-booked, but open sat and sun most of the day.

MCM is Media Comics Manga, but the whole thing is pretty much dominated by anime/manga and you can get some seriously good stuff and see some damn good cosplayers. Prices aren't too bad too, some doujinshi is sold etc, VNs, so forth and so forth (lots of figures)
Visitors are usualy in the 10'000s per day~

I'm there all weekend if anyone wants to meet ^^

Anyone going?

do i have to make a rules thread detailing that to post about events in GD you have to give some fucking background information so people know what you're goddamn talking about

I went the past 5 times. I guess all the shit on General Discussion kept me away from this thread.
Fairly low budget this time, but holy shit, dakimakura covers for £25, colour contacts for £20. Best expo swag ever.
We should meet up in May.

Damn right we must meet, I bought two dakimakura covers ^^, a stall had em for £20 today, got a £25 one on sat.
Had my biggest ever spend this weekend.

Dakimakura newb here, where did you get your actual cushion from?

Got this one ordered, since it's cheap and the size is perfect. I finally have a reason not to hate pregnant women.
Currently using a double duvet.

Thanks man, that's amazing, I'll check my local bed/linen-crud store tomorrow if they do 'double-pillows', apparently they exist, if not then order one of them. Pregnancy and dakimakura shouldn't mix, but looks like they do.
Currently using two pillows here, a bit under-filled, but is okay for now.
