unrecognized players

so.. we all know cookiezi, rafis, hvick. we know toy, rustbell, gayz and idke. many know ming or riviclia (probably the most unrecognized on this list but still known)

are there players you think deserved to be in the spotlight a little more :? feel free to post them here (if this is the adequate forum)

personally i'd go with:
mokia-: only one to pass the hardest map in the game nomod (if nothing changed in the meantime. speaking about the promethean kings). zigzag hacker pass. there are videos where his plays are compared to those of vaxei etc. on galaxy collapse. 400pp plays. yet rank 1,6k and i think many won't know him :x
ekoro: definitely not unknown in the mapping department. but when you hear +ez what pops into your mind? probably -gn, riviclia, maybe exgon. i think ekoro can easily be on par with the top ez players. calamity fortune+ez, star platinum+ez+fl+hd! (only?) galaxy collapse pass without nofail (ez+ht) <-- this play is way to unknown imho.

Ekoro unknown? Well I don't know about the world but he is definitely known in the French community and when I think about crazy ez/ezfl plays I instantly think to him xD

Ekoro is very well known - EZHD / FL plays + mapping.

Younger players doesn't know big stars like: Bikko, rrtyui, SiLviA or Niko (#freeNiko).

SiLviA is one of reading gods. Comparable (if not better) to -GN. All rounder, not restricted to any diff mod, great at DT and HR (both +HD) but especially at HD. Quited in ~2012-2013 or something.

Pyonta the last mouse only player to reach top #100 in 2014 and no mention of him in the wiki anywhere. Gasanww is getting close tho maybe he can make it.

Why do people here think bikko is unrecognised? That dude's been top #50 for over 2 years. Whereas Omgforz never made it to #200 and beat top #50 players in tournaments back in 2014-2015.

And riviclia is certainly not unrecognised.

I'm more amazed by fast mouse only playing than accurate mouse only playing, like by jieusieu and ShokugonoOyatsu and ChangE (if he was legit). I can understand playing mouse only accurately, but how do you control mouse only when you're singletapping 280bpm like jieusieu, or doing a 260bpm stream like ShokugonoOyatsu or ChangE??

but price doesn't exactly mean you are giving that up, especially if you go the WMO/IME route.
And to do better than a PS/2 KB you have to get a cherry mx board 6.0

Its easier to tap fast with mouse as that is your dominant hand but yeah its very hard to do that and move cursor which is why I never understood stream type click/x players as well.

Exactly. Pyonta and Silvia both used WMO which was very lightweight (80 grams!), has one of the best mouse shapes, Omron Japan switches and had the most accurate 400dpi sensor during its time. It was around $25 SRP actually. Its stock report rate can be overclocked to 500Hz which was also the highest report rate back then. This mouse was king for 10 years.

SiLviA used a crappy Elecom Pop Grast 3 (I love it's shape though)
Pyonta used the Steelseries remake of the IME3.0, did that use the Japanese Omrons?
