The structure of your mapping is bad, as you pointed out to me when you gave me the .osu file B). Under here is a list of changes with pictures as to how you can fix this.
Fixing Structure and Overall mapping
00:01:516 (1) to 00:02:918 (5) - time-distance equality is important, but if you don't have good structure to back it up the map in general plays bad. Making use of polygon patterns (such as squares and triangles) will help you immensely. Take this example into consideration:



As you can see, this diamond shape helps the gameplay flow better. Notice the fact that I didn't use the 5 that was in the original diff- I did this because it is important to realize that you don't always have to follow the rhythm of the song perfectly if it's for the sake of the player. Because of the low BPM, using distance snap with 1.6x or more (in this case I used 2x) isn't so terrible to use.

Let's try another example, this time it being at 00:03:619 (1,2,3,4,5,6) :



in this example, we have created a slanted square. I have used distance snaps of 1.5x and 2x to create this but it still represents time-distance equality quite well. Again, I have not used the sliderstream sort of thing you had- as a matter of fact that was one of the things that was ruining the map. Remember that generalizations for easier maps are okay, and that means sometimes you can make the gameplay not exactly match the rhythm- especially for maps like this.

Now, let's go over what NOT to do (in this song).

1/4th sliders- If you listen closely on one of your examples- say at 00:08:350 (5) - There is definitely a beat on the blue tick, but this messes with the player's readability of the diff. No one is expecting the slider to start on the blue tick, but they are expecting it to start on the white tick, where the "love again" lyric is played. Even if you moved this over, it would play better the 1/4th slider would end on a blue tick as well, meaning it's not fully representing the "love again" lyric. If you still wanted to keep that, you could place a circle right after the slider, which would use the full lyric. In general, 1/4th sliders are not very usable for this song, and I suggest you change them up a bit to make it better for the player.

Circles leading into sliders - Such as your example at 00:10:629 (4,5) - Much like most of your diff, you tried to exactly replicate the rhythm, which is okay for some maps- but not for this one, as it has an irregular rhythm and will throw off players. While this is PLAYABLE, you could have kept the slider and remove the circle by removing 4, moving 5 back on to the white tick, and add a reverse arrow to 5. This makes it play SO much better, and it still encompasses the general rhythm of the section.

That's all I can see that I think you really need to change regarding structure. Just try and make your note placement better and you'll have a solid diff in no time! :)

I'd say you mostly need to work on your visuals as the gameplay might not be all that fun and something has to make up for it? ;D
Try and repeat elements throughout the map, by placements or looks.

A general tip with your difficulty's AR is to look at the previous object and try to make the next object look good together with the previous one. When playing you'll mostly look at 2 objects simultaneously so making them look good together will most likely improve the visuals of your map.

  1. i'm not really how sure I feel with seeing a mapset with three different taiko diffs, all with different creators. although it's not that big of a deal, i think it looks pretty bad to have different mappers map a taiko spread for a hybrid map. this is coming from the fact that it looks kind of weird since most "x" game mode hybrid sets are made by one person.

  4. 00:15:506 (2,3,4) - if you're going to do this up and down pattern a lot of times in the map, i recommend you look over every instance and make it consistent (height and everything, this is coming from 00:15:506 (2,3,4) - in comparison to 00:15:506 (2,3,4) - and 00:15:506 (2,3,4) - with 00:18:311 (2,3,4) - and so one and so on and so on. would be better top ctrl+c - v everything).
