- drum-hitfinish.wav appears to be unused. Consider removing it?
- Add tags star and dash, if I'm not mistaken osu! handles start:dash as a single word, so these two tags could help.
- 00:08:952 (3,4) - minor - not the usual soft circular based flow is used here, perhaps you'd be better with something more similar to the previous patterns. like this, perhaps. After all, these two follow the same instruments and vocals and leeping them similar is a good way of mapping them.
Note: 01:36:595 (3,4) - something similar jhappens here. You don't normally use 90 degree angle anywhere in this difficulty. poorly-made example to give an idea
Note: may require additional changes to the patterns following this one. - 00:34:552 (3,4) - these two sound very different, yet they both are mapped with circles. I am sure we can emphasize things better! 00:33:752 (2,3) - try to slect these two and hit Ctrl+G? So, the whole pattern will be based around vocals.
- 01:02:552 (4) - this beat here is hard to hit properly and it just brings out the end of the guitar part, which hasn't really been paid any attention to before. I'd just remove the slider giving beginners a bit of resting time.
- 01:31:352 (3) - pretty sure that the slider here is unsnapped.Either its tail or head (or even both) land on nothing. Consider re-snapping it.
- 01:42:995 (2,3) - just to prevent confusion I wouldn't change the vocal-based rhthm. Consider replacing these two with a slider as to keep rhythm consistent. I think this is quite important for beginners.
- 01:44:995 - Not exactly a fan of the spinner starting on nothing. Not in the easier difficulties, at least. The spinner appears too quickly and it does not land on anything that makes it pretty weak. I'd rather just remove (1) and snap the spinner there.
Overall it is a pretty neat difficulty. I liked it, good job.
- I disagree with the idea of using x0,5 DS for 1/2 beats as this is a considerable (halving the DS, basically) reduction and it does not work within the spread given. First of all, it is pretty confusing on its own as the difference is pretty big and noticeably affect flow in a subjectively negative way. Besides, they contraddict the iea of time-spacing equality that players pick from Playing the Easy difficulty. Essentially, this difficulty stands out of the spread as it follows itw own logic. Besides, these can easily be misread as 1/4s, as they are spaced exactly as such.
- I also quite disagree with the stack usage. The stacks differ and vary from 1/1 to 1/2, sometimes the changes occur even within 5 seconds apart from each other 00:33:952 (6,7,1,1) - which makes them pretty hard to read. Given the circumstances and the spacing changes used it makes Reading too difficult for something Labled as Normal.
- 00:47:752 - the beat here lacks a clickable object. Cinsider shortening the slider and placing a circle just like you did with 00:59:952 (3,4), for exaample.
Note: 01:11:952 (5) - same here - 00:50:552 - both vocals and bass support the beat, even the drums introduce some bell sound here. I believe it has to be mapped. Either with a circle or a 1/2 slider.
Note: 01:15:352 (5) - another omitted downbeat, this time it leaves the kiai fountain unstressed, though. You really should have something to click on here, otherwise there is no point in having a kiai fountain here.
I think that there is a bit of connection lost between the difficulties. Try to use regular spacing for 1/2s, yet add a few more of those, as to even the spread gaps and make things playable without forcing the reading difficulty. I don't see how the spacing changes you have used could work and I believe that they actually hurt the gameplay experience a Normal difficulty is supposed to bring.
- 00:00:752 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3) - probably you should keep triplets for later. They are a pretty hard thing for a this difficulty, I would use them only when the music is really asking for it.
- 00:20:952 - you might as well want to get rid of this useless green line.
- 00:33:952 (3) - could function better as a double since there are two claps of approximately the same intensity. Given the context of the difficulty it feels illogical to map 1/4s and leave such strong beats out.
- 01:06:152 (4,1,2,3) - minor - blanket is very noticeably off here. You might want to fix this as this would improve the flow as well.
- 01:16:752 (4,1) - given the context of previous jumps there could be a good place to use jump as well. Consistency and rhythm are both asking for it.
- 01:19:352 (1) - the jump here is a bit of an overkill as it goes too harsh on players. Try selecting the slider and pressing Ctrl+G, as this would fix the issue.
- 01:36:595 (3,4) - 01:38:395 (7,1) - notice how big spacing inconsistency is. 01:41:595 (7,1) - 01:42:195 (1,2) - the beats which are strong sometimes get no jumps at all, sometimes the weak beats get some strong and large jumps. Try to work with the last half of the kiai, this could be improved.
I disagree with the spacing usage in this part. Apart from that it is quite a decent difficulty, though you definitely could use less 1/4 beats for the intro.
- 00:33:752 (3,1,2) - feels a bt overdone. I'd try to lower the spacing on 3-1 as to emphasize the 1-2 jump and give a bit of spacing alterations for more dynamic gameplay.
- 00:43:752 (4,1) - shouldn't there be a jump as to stress the downbeat/drum/vocals? Probably you could just Ctrl+G (1) and rearrange it a little bit, so that the jump would be reasonable.
Note: 00:52:952 (3,1) - same. - 00:50:352 (1) - both the vocals and the bells land on the downbeat, hence, it's the downbeat that should be clickable and not the red tick before. You can just select and Ctrl+G 00:50:352 (1,2,3) - this pattern and fix the spacing afterwards.
- 01:07:552 (4,5) - would use a tiny jump here as to make it clear that this one is 1/2 and not 1/4 and stress the vocals with a bit of a jump.
Note: 01:29:752 (3,4) - same here. - 01:14:552 (1,2,1,2) - if you want to keep these new combos, you might need another new combo on 01:13:752 (5) - so that the combo would change its length gradually.
This is really good.
- 00:15:952 (2,3,4,5,6) - this feels pretty overdone, especially taking into consideration that this jump comes shortly after 00:14:352 (2,3) - the stack. The contrast is just too strong. Try to lower the DS, unstack 00:14:352 (2,3) - or even do both.
- 00:27:752 (4,5,6) - the change of slidershapes is pretty sudden and quite unreasonable since they follow the same vocals with the same pitch. I'd use identical slidershapes for the whole combo.
- 00:32:752 (10,1) - probably could use a bigger jump as in the difficulty context x2.6 is a pretty weak jump.
- 00:34:552 (1,2) - try lowring spacing to make this more readable? You are introducing a pattern of this kind for the first time, better keep spacing low so that players could catch it for the first time.
- 00:37:352 (4) - try to Ctrl+G this one, so that it would have circluar flow and match with 00:38:552 (7,8) - which follow ssome similar pattern.
Note: speaking of 00:38:552 (7,8) - it could really use a jump to emphasize the vocals. - 00:48:952 (1,2,3) - the flow feels pretty forced here. I'd try something that gives a bit more movement and dynamic flow. edgy pattern / safer pattern
- 00:51:352 (7) - this would be better as three circles snapped to 1/2. It needs some jumps to represent the instruments. the slider just compresses the flow and doesn't give enough movement.
- 01:02:952 (1) - being the only SV change of that kind it feels pretty unnecessary and overdone. Besides, it kind of hurts the kiai effect, as it feels quite slow after such a speed up used in its beginning.
- 01:07:752 (5,1) - the jump definitely should be larger here, just listen to how strong the instruments and vocals are.
- 01:10:352 (2,3) - in terms of rhythm it would feel better if you could swap these two. This would truly work with the vocals. example
Could use a few more mods as to assure that jumps follow the song as accurately as possible. As a matter of fact, the spacing in general feels overexaggerated to me, this could use a few more opinions as to make sure that it's just me.
