Hello everyone!



Welcome to the Christmas☆Queue 2016!
a seasonal modding queue for maps related to Christmas, Winter or New Year!
2011 - 2012 - 2013 - 2014 - 2015


I hope everybody is having an enjoyable year thus far! Each year in order to spread the Christmas spirit, the former Beatmap Appreciation Team (now Beatmap Nomination Group) opens up a modding queue for mapsets relating to the holiday season. This marks the sixth year of its operation, a tradition that continues to spread the joy and wonders of the winter. Like before, in order to accomplish the monumental feat of assisting in the qualification of winter themed beatmaps, the Christmas Queue is in need of motivated individuals to help push things forward. We have prepared a little team of skilled and motivated modders that will help you get your Christmas map ranked in time. Nevertheless we really appreciate if you could help out by helping other fellow mappers with their maps. Everyone is free to help out!

I hope to open the queue on November 14th, so if you would like to participate, please let me know!

Information

  1. This is a temporary modding queue that will be closed after Christmas.
  2. We plan to start qualifying maps around the middle of December, so do not worry that your map may be ranked too early.
  3. The mapset must be finished and follows the ranking guidelines/rules.
  4. If we get enough maps here, I will try to set up a map pack for all these maps in the end.
  5. You are using a Christmas avatar! (we will be too!)

We are looking for modders across all game modes to help out with the effort. If you are interested, please reply to this post or send me a private message through either the forums or in-game! Also, if you have any questions, feel free to leave it below and I will try to answer to the best of my ability. Please, make sure to specifiy which game-mode(s) are you planning to mod!

  1. Red is given to those members of the Quality Assurance Team (QAT).
  2. Purple is given to those members of the Beatmap Nomination Group (BNG).
Information for modders:
You do not need to mod a certain amount of maps, just go at your own pace. You can pick any map that is posted on the map list. Just check the thread and find a map that needs help!

(iirc this modding queue was not restricted to only BNs and staff last year)

Added.

I will also appreciate more support on osu!catch as well as more Beatmap Nominators interested in the queue.
But main priority is osu!catch, we only have one hybrid person in the list.
