Hi Alarido, a (quick) random mod for you. This is probably the first English song I saw on #modreqs so yeah LOL

General thoughts
  1. It'd be cool if you could add the combo colors for the GD easy diff from the hard diff

Hard
  1. Your diff contains somewhat random spacing, for example you used pretty much 0.9x spacing, then suddenly 02:10:866 (4,5,6,7,8) - 0.85x spacing and sometimes a bit lower, not really a big deal since it's a hard diff but you might want to consider evening out the spacing on some parts.
  2. I'd go for a -1 HP actually, the song is quite relaxing so it needs relaxing settings, right?
  3. 00:44:779 (8) - You could consider CTRL + G here, it'd play well and the jump there would fit actually.
  4. 00:47:605 (7,8) - You mostly used stacks like these without the small break there, you might want to consider unstacking it because it's pretty inconsistent?
  5. 01:52:605 (3,4) - You can see that this stack isn't perfectly stacked, even from in-game, I'd say you perfect it ~
  6. 02:15:866 (2,3,4,5) - I honestly dislike your current placement of these. I don't know why. I'd prefer something like this instead, try it:
    This way 2-3 would play a bit better and 4-5 would have a much better curve
  7. 02:19:996 (3,4,5,6) - Not sure why these sudden spacing changes.
  8. 03:31:083 (7) - The overlap makes it quite bad looking, you should try to abuse the distance snap just a little that it'd play better, like this?
  9. Nice job, pretty much perfect.

  3. 02:06:301 (2) - It sounds a bit better if you move this slider 1/2 further, even if you followed the vocals it sounds a bit wrong now >:
  4. 02:16:953 (3) - I'd curve this slider just a bit more to match better to 02:15:649 (1) -
  5. 02:46:953 (1) - NC again
  6. 03:00:866 (1) - Try to make it more symmetrical, it would look way better! Like this!

  8. 03:07:823 (1) - ^ and so on... you probably fixed / didn't fix my suggestion so I wont mention these again, fix the rest if you decided to fix those.

  2. The 18 lyric is "Once you'd" or Once you've?

Wait, you have same images of lyrics in the folder when you can use the same in multiple parts, like the 19 and 31 or 20 and 31 (in this case are different but the correct is the 31 because have the "but" before the sentence). Please take care about this and delete the repeat lyrics to save space.

  1. Do we really need the epilepsy warning? o be honest, it seems a bit unnecessary here, your storyboard is quite calm, y'know.
[AnreFM's Easy]
  1. AR feels way too fast for this song and doesn't really fits. Try to reduce AR by one tik, you'll make the diff a bit more relaxing and the whole mapset will be more balanced. (AR:3/5/7 feels much better than 4/5/7, huh? :))
    Note: reducing AR requires reducing OD and HP Drain as well, you know, you should do it to keep the spread more balanced and the rhythm of your diff may confuse some beginners, so , lowering diff settings is a good idea, imo!
  2. 00:18:257 (2,3) - the transition between these two feels quite unnatural and doesn't really fit with your patterns! Moreover, it can confuse some beginners, so I recommend you to replace this pattern with something more intuitively-playable!
    Note: feeling a bit lost? Here's an example for you! / Alternative
  3. 01:11:736 - I would not ignore the bells. THeir sound is quite important and it has its own meaning, ignoring them feels really confusing. Please, try to map them somehow!
    Note: dragging the circles from the downbeats like 01:11:301 - to 01:11:736 - works perfectly fine, try that!
  4. 01:17:823 (3) - minor - avoiding overlaps with the skin/ghameplay elements is required, so beginners won't be confused and the map will appear neater. Consider fixing the overlap, please.
  5. 01:54:779 (1) - minor - curving the slider in another way would make your flow smoother and more understandable. Here, take a look at my idea!
  6. 01:59:996 (2) - apply this one ONLY if you've reduced AR - the slider appears too close to the repeat of (1). So, beginners may get confused, ignor the reverse-arrow and click (2) instantly. Something like this or so to make the pattern a bit more understandable would be great!
    Note: 02:26:953 (2,3) - the same happens here. I see your intention, but I think it is too tricky for the easiest diff!
  7. 02:18:257 - mapping the beat here sounds like a good idea to me. You had no similar "mini-breaks" and this one appears quite confusing. It also doesn't really fit with the song and the downbeat gets ignored, which is not good. All in all, I highly suggest you to place a circle at 02:18:257.
  8. 03:06:083 (2) - minor - moving this circle up would make your flow MUCH more natural, imo. Normally I don't complain about that stuff, but this pattern seems to be easy-to-fix. Here, look!

    Great job with the diff! It's a bit hard, but still awesome, I really liked what you did there! A lot of the sufggestions were minor, so, it probably means that you can work on your flow a bit more, tho.

  1. Even though you use polarity most of the time and do it pretty good, the amount of 1/2 beats seems to be really high. Try to reduce OD by one tick, so, your diff will be a bit more playable.
    Note: yeah, it may hurt the balance of the spread, but it feels really necessary to me. What's more there're also some patterns like 01:06:083 (1,2,3,4) - and that is practically the mai reason for OD3
  2. 02:25:649 (6,1,2,3) - minor - having 1/1 and 1/2 stacks so close to each other is quie confusing. Once players hit the 1/1 stack, they will expect 02:27:388 (2,3) - to be 1/1 stack as well. that is why this pattern is confusing. Unstacking either of them would be great, but I'd personally try to unstack 02:25:649 (6,1) - since 1/2 stacks are more common for this diff.

  1. AR feels way too fast for this song and doesn't really fits. Try to reduce AR by one tik, you'll make the diff a bit more relaxing and the whole mapset will be more balanced. (AR:3/5/7 feels much better than 4/5/7, huh? :))
    Note: reducing AR requires reducing OD and HP Drain as well, you know, you should do it to keep the spread more balanced and the rhythm of your diff may confuse some beginners, so , lowering diff settings is a good idea, imo! yeah, fixed!
  2. 00:18:257 (2,3) - the transition between these two feels quite unnatural and doesn't really fit with your patterns! Moreover, it can confuse some beginners, so I recommend you to replace this pattern with something more intuitively-playable! fixed with ur suggestion owo/
    Note: feeling a bit lost? Here's an example for you! / Alternative
  3. 01:11:736 - I would not ignore the bells. THeir sound is quite important and it has its own meaning, ignoring them feels really confusing. Please, try to map them somehow!
    Note: dragging the circles from the downbeats like 01:11:301 - to 01:11:736 - works perfectly fine, try that!
  4. 01:17:823 (3) - minor - avoiding overlaps with the skin/ghameplay elements is required, so beginners won't be confused and the map will appear neater. Consider fixing the overlap, please.sure
  5. 01:54:779 (1) - minor - curving the slider in another way would make your flow smoother and more understandable. Here, take a look at my idea!
  6. 01:59:996 (2) - apply this one ONLY if you've reduced AR - the slider appears too close to the repeat of (1). So, beginners may get confused, ignor the reverse-arrow and click (2) instantly. Something like this or so to make the pattern a bit more understandable would be great!
    Note: 02:26:953 (2,3) - the same happens here. I see your intention, but I think it is too tricky for the easiest diff!yeah, also fixed the rest of the part that looked like this!
  7. 02:18:257 - mapping the beat here sounds like a good idea to me. You had no similar "mini-breaks" and this one appears quite confusing. It also doesn't really fit with the song and the downbeat gets ignored, which is not good. All in all, I highly suggest you to place a circle at 02:18:257.ya~
  8. 03:06:083 (2) - minor - moving this circle up would make your flow MUCH more natural, imo. Normally I don't complain about that stuff, but this pattern seems to be easy-to-fix. Here, look!

    Great job with the diff! It's a bit hard, but still awesome, I really liked what you did there! A lot of the sufggestions were minor, so, it probably means that you can work on your flow a bit more, tho.thank you for your mod Bakari! As you can see, I have fixed all from oyur mod, especially that rhythm on the kiai! Thank you very much, I realized this is a bit hard for an Easy, but I hope this will do!

So yeah, after applying the mod from Bakari, I do a major changes on kiai regarding the Bell ignorance on the rhythm, I also revamped the hitsound to sound more natural. Took 2 hours, but I can finally say I love my diff and I hope it can goes along with yours too Alarido<3

As new and noobish as i am i can't go into detail as much as the others, so i just want to say that i really like the beatmap in both easy and normal difficulty. in easy there were a few spots that caught me by surprise, wasnt on point with my anticipation, that might be me though and i guess you need some learning curve in a map, right? ;)

normal was in my opinion a bit fast, today they implemented the new difficulty system, so again that might be me having trouble with the new ratings. also i felt that your normal mode is very forgiving, what i like very much, i did like 4 errors in a few seconds and was still in the game, thats how it should be on normal, so good job! :)

i really liked the implemention of the lyrics while playing, but trying to read them failed quite hard for me, maybe someone else is able to do it, and then it should be quite nice for those who dont know the lyrics :)

Personally i feel that the map flows very well and from my (noobish) perspective i see no reason why your map shouldnt be ranked. as a finishing note though, theres already a ranked "viva la vida" as you most likely know already ;)

► Thanks :3 Just noticed that the easy diff is a guest diff made by AnreFM, which he offered to me voluntarily :3 and yes, he's making a lot effort, even though he doesn't have lots of free time due to real life issues.

► Big Thanks ^-^ Probably this Normal diff may catch up the newbies. At least in osu!genesis, Normal diffs were intended to have the gameplay more adherent to the song without the boredom of Easy diffs nor the harshness of Hard diffs.

Yes, I know the existing version (well done I feel), mapped by Puffles. I'd known that map at 2012~2013 and I'd fought so HAAAAAARD to achieve S and make FC (full combo) in both diffs. This mapset is one of the my first tries on my mapping work that I kept (yes, possibly I deleted two or three, if my memory don't betray me ~.~)
