My cries for Sinistro's patience were for naught - this is a really good map for a first try. Just a few things:

Timing is quite good, especially after resnapping all notes. After resnapping, re-adjust the length of any sliders that do not snap correctly - one example is 00:34:45 (10) on Hard.

Second major concern: beatspacing. Taken from [Hard]: 00:30:61 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) is an excellent use of beatspacing. It's intuitive. However, 01:11:65 (4,5,6,7,8,1,2,3) is inconsistent in a few places (from 5 to 6 in the first combo and from 1 to 2 in the next combo). Within any given combo, when the time between hits is shorter, the notes should be closer together.

Third major concern: Hard is actually pretty easy (you may be better off renaming it to [Normal]) and Insane is almost identical to Hard - try taking a look at the differences between some other people's Hard and Insane maps to gauge how different they are. It might help you to start Insane off on a completely clean slate - delete every note and start the map over, using new, more complex patterns.

Phew. Ok. Most of the small problems in Hard should be fixed and if you fixed the ones in Normal, then those should be good, too. The big problem that remains, however, is the spacing inconsistency in both maps that awp has mentioned already.

For Normal, I like a 1.00 slider rate with .7 distance spacing. Hard, the 2.40 can stay, but try to get everything else to be something like .5 distance spacing.

I really like this song/map, so don't give up on it~ :]

Ok, Hard spacing is MUCH better. Here are the remaining problems keeping it from being perfect.

Lemme just remind you that whenever you move something in the timeline, make sure you respace the note in the map. Also, one tick = 1/4 of a beat for me.

00:11:41 (3) - Move one tick to the right.
01:09:01 (1) - This is a little close to the slider before it. Use distance spacing again and move it away.
01:42:55 (10) - Move one tick to the right, then shorten by one tick.
01:44:77 (5) - Move one tick to the left.
01:49:57 (5) - Move one tick to the left, then lengthen by one tick.
01:53:65 (10) - Make this repeat once like it used to.
02:12:85 (1,2,3) - Move these one tick to the right.
02:46:45 (1) - Make this closer to the combo before it. It's breaking the rhythm, not to mention a little confusing at first since the slider end has better distance spacing than the start.
02:50:29 (1,2,3,4) - Delete these duplets, then replace the break afterwards.
03:09:25 (5) - Move one tick to the left.
Optional: 03:20:53 (9) - Replace this with a spinner that ends at 3:24:376. It's awkward, but acceptable, to use the spinner you have right now. Either way. Just a suggestion. You could have it end where it's ending right now, too.
03:46:45 (4) - Move one tick to the right.

Most of these are easy fixes. Once you get Normal respaced, let me know and I'll give you the list for that.

And with those fixes over chat, Normal and Hard are finally perfect in my eyes~ Once Insane is up, I'll try to get some mods to look at this map. I like it.

Edit: Ok, whoops. Forgot to check and see if Hard's fixes were implemented properly. After rechecking and tweaking a few more things, it is perfect again~

2. open up JAMES DIFFICULTY !!
3. go to 03:20:536.
4. check if there is slider tick/slide sound. if there is, see 4.1. if there isnt, see 4.2.
  • 4.1. go to timing tab > timing setup panel > select the second timing section > go to audio tab at the left side > check custom override.

    4.2. do nothing.
5. go try it now~


if thats fine enough for you, go ahead. i still might change something though. i want to abuse the slider tick rate 4 throughout the song. it fits perfectly~

EDIT: i changed something at the middle, so just choose whatever difficulty you want to upload, whether the one inside the folder or the one as attachment.

oh yeah, if you dont want this added just attach the osu file at the first topic :P

If your talking about james difficulty i just used blank soft-sliderslide and soft-slidertick in some parts there.
