I don't see why tweaking you diff makes it close to Kantan. I'm not talking about 'using long pattern on futsuu is bad', but im talking about 'how you lack breaks which you caused from having a long pattern'. If you say you're following the rhythm closely, you're implying that you want to make the futsuu close to muzukashii, and not wanting it to close to kantan. Example is like pattern from 00:17:074 to 00:32:177 (roughly). There are so many 3/2 and no 2/1 breaks, so i think removing some notes are really fine honestly.
Another thing is, it's alright if a futsuu contains so many 3/2 but with the same pattern constantly (ex : 3/2 kdk over and over, or 2/1 kd continuously, or something like that). Because they're easy to hit for players. But in your diff, there are even some notes on blue tick but you didn't give any breaks there (like 00:35:695 (99,100,101,102) - ). Yeah i know you're following the rhythm, but giving beginner this kind of placement without breaks seems bad.

Well if you insist, i don't mind. I'm just replying because i think that it's still not a good thing for a Futsuu with lack of breaks and something like that :D

That's why many of the patterns repeat themselves, not just because the song itself repeats a lot. It's so the player doesn't have to play a different pattern every time a new note comes. Moreover, not mapping the blue ticks kind of makes what was being followed weird, since normally you could just remove the note on the blue tick and still be fine with the first and last beats, but it doesn't sound quite right in most instances here, making for a long break. And having longer breaks will make it harder for a beginner to know when to hit. I've had people that play at a Kantan / Futsuu level, play the bottom two difficulties, because I wanted to make sure they weren't too dense, and none of them have seemed to have any problems with them so far. Neither have, well, the previous modders. So if more people say that it is a problem, things will be changed.

@Kazaze: Futsuu, 00:16:453 - Honestly think having a note here is okay, but I removed it because of Senritsu's mod. :v 00:35:281 - Want to keep the same vocal pitch that 00:34:867 - is mapped to. 00:41:695 - It's a part of a very simple 4 note pattern. I think removing only one of the notes would be rather confusing, since you have the other three following the same sound, but nothing for one beat. :/ Even with the suggestion afterwards, that makes it even harder for a beginner to read, just because of the 1/4 usage. 00:46:246 - Already explained why I disagree with this in the Outer Oni. Only time the pattern is kd is to greater emphasize the vocal clip after the calm melody.

Outer Oni, 00:36:108 - and 00:37:660 - have distinct sounds from the background here, just because they're not following the vocal clips beforehand, doesn't make them unimportant. 00:44:591 - These notes in the calm part, I just flat out disagree with making the outer notes the highest, when the ones on the inside of the pattern are the most emphasized. 00:56:384 - Disagree with CTRL+Ging, 00:56:384 - , but I will consider making the first note a k, since I can see your point with this suggestion. Also, don't really want to add in more 1/6 than I already have, because it would mean I have to ignore the notes the finishers are mapped to. And the finishers are a more prominent theme throughout the difficulty, so I would prefer to keep that, instead of just adding in more difficulty for the sake of being able to. 01:40:867 - Disagree like before.

  2. 01:15:842 - Like you did at 01:19:143 you could end the stream here and make 01:16:039 a don ;w;
    (The way the slow part at the end is mapped is kinda interesting)
  3. 01:41:047 - Kinda the same thing as comment #1
  4. 01:42:729 - Also the same thing maybe? ^
  5. 01:44:177 - I really think that d k d k sounds better than d k k d ;w;
  6. 01:46:039 - The instrument kinda falls here so shouldn't it be a don?

@Taikocracy: 00:49:557 - Wanted to keep following the same sound, with the same color. Even with a finisher. But I dont mind having 00:49:557 - as a d. Either color sounds okay here. xD 01:15:832 - First kiai doesn't have the same finishers the later ones do, making it the most intense one. I'd prefer to leave the stream as is. Already explained in the previous mod why it's d k k d, and not k d d k, which was what most of the latter points were about. 01:46:039 - The instrument falls yes, but I think k emphasizes the echo a bit more sharply than a d would.

@Vulkin: Futsuu, 00:07:350 - is following the quieter rising sound in the background, and not the standard shranz triplet rhythm here. 01:45:005 - Either way sounds okay, since they're all the same sound. lol

Outer Oni, 01:32:901 - is there to not disrupt the flow from the streams, and to follow the weird vocal clip as well. (Cuz a sudden pause feels really weird. :v) 01:40:246 - Explained this multiple times before. 01:50:591 - and 01:50:798 - 1/6 should end with a d, since the last note isn't as high as the other notes. And because 01:51:005 - is lower than 01:50:798 - . So having them the same color would kind of ruin the pitch emphasis here. :/

@Nepuri: The first ones are finishers because of the break afterwards, whereas the latter ones aren't due to the build up, plus the spinner afterwards. So I didn't want to overload the player. I'll consider changing them to finishers though.

Try using 3/2 or 5/2 pattern instead or 3/4 + 2/2 + 3/4 on one way. The more i mod, the more i mention something, the more this diff might change to my style (lol) going to leave you on that, and hopefully you will consider tweaking it. If unsure of anything, you can ask me (or Ayyri) for helpTried to change some of the longer patterns to have more breaks, but other than that I'll try my best to keep this in mind for future reference o/

@yuzu__rinrin: Futsuu, accepted the first and last point to make things simpler. The other two suggestions map the patterns a bit awkward though.

Outer Oni, accepted the first two suggestions to follow the vocal better, but still disagree with the latter two.

@Diva Days: Futsuu, 00:48:108 - is emphasizing the airhorn in the bg, rather than a vocal, like the D at 00:46:453 - did. Which is also why one is D, and the other is K. Two different pitches. :D 01:12:522 - Same reasoning as the last point, moreover, the sound is pretty important here too. 01:19:143 - There's a clear finish sound in the background. It'd sound really weird to just ignore it. :v

00:29:281 (190) - Change this to d? As I said in discord about tones it's probably very subjective. But I personally hear a d here.

Trying to find anything worth mentioning is really hard when the map is already good :o

@Raphalge: 01:37:970 - Adding in a random third kat here would kind of mess up the whole flow of the stream, and the consistency of it. Moreover, it sounds a bit cluttered with the 1/6 right after it. 00:29:281 - Wanted to keep from 00:29:074 - to 00:29:695 - all k's to emphasize the deeper tone of the vocal clip here.
