  1. I reckon you'd like to remove the Countdown and the Widescreen Support from all Difficulties
  2. You can remove "Drag" from tags if you want, it's already on the source
[Easy]

  1. Are you sure about tick rating? I feel that 2 is unecessary, there are a lot of offbeats with ticks, when they don't ask for them.
  2. 00:54:199 (4) - I feel weird about this slider, the reverse arrow is on a very important downbeat, the song intensity changes completely there. It'd be nice to have something clickable instead there, to make the player feel the intensity change, even if it's just a beginner. Same happens here: 01:33:223 (1) - .
  3. 01:01:516 (1) - The NC is unecessary, it just makes it harder for beginners for no reason indeed.
  4. 01:35:662 (1) - I'd rather something symmetrical with 01:33:223 (1) - , just like the rest of the choruses, what do you think? This is the only exeption in the whole map.

    Great difficulty, you managed to make players feel the intensity of the chorus very well, I just have a small comment about the last kiai. The sliders with reverse arrow - such as 01:35:662 (1) - 01:36:638 - Makes this beat, which is really strong, unclickable, just like something I mentioned before. I'd rather if you followed the rhythm from the other kiais - such as 01:27:857 (1,2) - .

  1. There are a few unsnapped objects according to AiMod
  2. 00:21:516 (4) - NC is probably missing since you added it to every new section, this is the only exception until now.
  3. 00:31:272 - Such a shame this beat is not clickable :(, it'd feel much better in the player's hand if it was, but this is up to you. It isn't much of a problem.
  4. 00:37:126 (1) - I know that the double reverse is completely intention, but I still feel weird about it, it's can be easily missunderstood with a single one instead. Beginners ain't prepared for that. Same here: 01:16:150 (1) - .
  5. 01:04:443 (1) - Since you added a New Combo here, you should add to the rest to make it consistent - or remove it instead - it's the section of this rhythm that you added NC. If you look at the first half of the song, it isn't there as well.

    Not much to say, good difficulty.
[Legs]

  1. 00:32:491 (4,5,6) - Just a suggestion: If you want to make it even more symmetrical, you could try a vertical straight line instead. The stacking makes it a bit assymetrical.
  2. 01:18:955 - As this is the harder difficulty, you could map this beat to follow the vocals better. The rhythm is exacly the same of the Normal difficulty, you could make it harder, to differ them properly. If you follow the suggestion, don't forget to add it to the next sections.

    I really liked the way you repeated the same patterns on the chorus, it makes you really feel the repetition of the sentence "Legs, Legs, What's on the menu?". It's really funy, I enjoyed it a lot, nice job!

00:11:150 (4) There's no beat here in the music, so this circle really shouldn't be here.
00:13:223 (5) I feel that the vocal "Thursday" at 00:13:711 is important enough to be mapped with an actual hit and not a slider tail, so consider shortening the slider to a half-beat long and add a circle at 00:13:711
00:54:687 (1) Shortening this slider to the red tick would make more sense since there isn't actual any note at the blue tick and shortening it would also be mapping the "day" vocal at the red tick instead of ignoring it.
I can appreciate most of the symmetry and Ctrl+H/J in this difficulty, though literally copying and pasting some of the patterns, especially with the chorus, is a bit too excessive imo.

00:15:662 (1,2) I don't understand why you would map the vocals here with just circles on the white ticks when you map similar vocals with two half-beat long sliders like in 00:17:613 (1,2) and 00:19:565 (1,2)
00:30:296 (5) I feel the first note of the chorus is important enough to be mapped with a hit, so I would recommend removing the repeat off the slider and adding a circle at 00:31:272
00:37:126 (1) Normal players might not be expecting more than one repeat on a slider like this and might cause them to leave the slider sooner than they need to.
00:38:589 (3) Even though it might be harder to hit, I think it would be better if you moved this back to the blue tick and added an extra repeat since it would be mapping the whole drum stream instead of missing the first hit.
00:58:589 (1,2) I think it would make more sense to make these half-beat long sliders like 01:00:540 (1,2) since they're both mapping the same vocals.

01:16:150 (1,2,3,4) - I think single tap. Single tapping don't work here, Because the sounds of claps (01:16:394 - & 01:16:882 - ) are too loud and confusing. I suggest putting in their place the reverse slider, for example.
01:31:760 (1,2) - In this place you will hear strange vocals, so to follow it properly, I suggest you use 3/2 reverse slider (reverse at 01:32:492 - )
00:19:565 (1) - I think you added the excess finish hitsound at the end of the slider, because before this was not. (same at 00:54:687 (1) - )

  1. 00:10:784 (3,4) - 00:12:735 (3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5) - These are the only two spots in the whole map where I feel like the rhythms have been simplified too much, both vocals and that synth-or-whatever-thing have quite special rhythms but covering all of that with continuous 1/2s doesn't seem very fitting to me, it evokes the feeling of being overmapped for me too much, especially with the normal-hitnormals lol
    I guess my suggestions would be to extend 00:10:784 (3) by 1/4 and moving 00:15:174 (5) one 1/4 earlier and stacking it with (4) or smth like that, basically anything that isn't pure 1/2s would improve it for me
  2. 00:32:248 (3,4,5,6,7) - For all of these patterns: Do you have Stacking not viewed in the editor? bc (3,4) not being horizontal looks pretty bad.. I'd suggest placing all of these like this (five pixels distance between each to get the same DS as autostacking)
  3. 00:46:882 - Using normal-sampleset and toning the volume down seems a bit unfitting to me, I'd rather suggest simply using drum-hitnormals and keeping the volume at around 45% instead
  4. Also I'm kinda missing differentiation between the section at 00:46:882 and the one at 00:54:687 as there is no difference in DS, SV, or rhythm density; The first section initially starts of very loose with the 1/1-slider and the following 1/1-gap, but then gets more and more dense topping it with 00:52:735 (1,2,3) - (where I would recommend extending (3) in order to actually map a given note rather than overmapping, and to make it feel less monotonous and also less dense, even tho it technically isn't) -, whereas the following section, which is clearly far more intense in the song, is mapped less dense for the most part.. doesn't seem right to me :/

Nothing else to say about this diff, other than the fact that I do not like how you literally copypasted your first pre-Kiai&Kiai at the second time, even though you are obviously capable of coming up with different patterns, as seen in the last two Kiais. I can kinda live with the Kiais themselves being copypasted once too, but copypasting the entire Kiai again just seems extremely lazy. What's the point in mapping a full song when you're just mapping it once and then clone it? I might as well start the map again.
Since I won't be interested in nominating if the copypaste stays, moving on to the diff you actually asked me to mod ^^

  1. So in this diff, I have a huge problem with how the sections are mapped relative to each other, and with differentiation. Just looking at the first third of the diff: The first part, until the break, has zero 2/1-gaps between all those objects, a lot of 1/1-sliders and also some reverses, all in all very dense. And then the Kiai is just three 2/1-sliders and one random 1/1-slider+circle pattern, and that's it. That doesn't make any sense to me, it doesn't represent the song's intensity at all, and one of the long sliders randomly being replaced with a short slider & circle doesn't make any sense either and just feels inconsistent for no apparent reason.
    Then, right after the first Kiai, you've got 00:39:077 (1) being literally the same object as 00:37:126 (3) even though they are in completely different sections and represent entirely different things. That's the differentiation-issue I have.
    This issue applies to the whole diff as it is a structural problem, the Kiais repeat being half as dense as the verses, differentiation-issues at least aren't so in-your-face anymore with the exception of 01:29:809 (1,2) where the second one is again mapped to something completely different, a special musical pattern in the song. There's no easy fix for me, I'd just recommend you to reconsider how you structure your map and how you can make it pay more attention to the actual song instead of using the same objects for completely different things right after each other.

About the kiai being easier compared to the other parts, honestly, I think it is fine. The song proposes something different, as you can see in the song, there are no sounds worth to be mapped in a easy diff between the sliders (e.g. 00:32:735 (2) - 01:11:760 (2) - and so on) so leaving those 2/1 gaps is fine. Apart from that, yes I agree with some of Bonsai points as you have some weird inconsistencies in the kiai, but the rhythm spread structure in the diff is fine if you ask me, he is just following the song.

    This was meant to be a 'Hard' difficulty at first. Seeing that I had to add a new difficulty, you might feel it is 'too easy'. However, I really don't understand how this can be overmapped?
    Anyways, I made some rhythm changes in there.

    As said at the first point, the difficulty was meant to be 'Hard', yet, I feel this is okay the way it is. However, I made the slider longer.

Nothing else to say about this diff, other than the fact that I do not like how you literally copypasted your first pre-Kiai&Kiai at the second time, even though you are obviously capable of coming up with different patterns, as seen in the last two Kiais. I can kinda live with the Kiais themselves being copypasted once too, but copypasting the entire Kiai again just seems extremely lazy. What's the point in mapping a full song when you're just mapping it once and then clone it? I might as well start the map again.
    It's okay that you feel this way, but I wanted to do a copy/paste for this kiai because first of all, the song is very repetitive itself. I gotta tell you, originally, every single kiai had this copy/pasted pattern. I felt it was too much, so I lowered it a notch.
Since I won't be interested in nominating if the copypaste stays.

00:46:882 (1) - Combo usage is really sporadic during this section. Sometimes you go 2 stanzas, other times you go one. Make up your mind.

[Hard]
At least get the OD 1 away from AR. This is a bit low.
00:34:687 (5) - This having no audible hitsound on the start is really screwing with my gameplay - Especially when these are the first time you get some more dense rhythms showing up
As with the Easy, it'd be nice to have a spinner in here so you don't have scoreboard locks.

[Insane]
AR feels really high - especially considering the transition from difficulty to difficulty, but I guess it's needed for the chorus'
00:31:272 (1,2) - Holy cow, this was a sudden jump in difficulty - especially in context with the rest of the map set. I think you should make the Hard a bit harder with some jump usage maybe in the same areas as this one

The maps themselves are okay, but the difficulty spread is not that great. I'd recommend you transition into the Insane better from the easier difficulties.

I changed some things in Marianna's Easy, I changed the difficulty name of Hard to Advanced, since it's more like an second Normal than a Hard, while Legs is counted like a Hard instead of an Insane.
I also changed the OD in Advanced as well.

  1. Isn't trhe soft-sliderslide unused? Modding assistance says it is. Perhaps you might want to fix that.
[Easy]
  1. Tick Rate 2 feels overdone as the difficulty itself is heavily based around 2/1 and 1/1 rhythms.
  2. 00:37:126 (2,3) - these two follow the same clapping sound, hence, mapping them with a single slider would make more sense. Please, remove (3) and add a repeat to (2).
  3. 01:31:760 (2,1) - for a very minimalistic and clear difficulty this one feels out of place. Is there a way to avoid this overlap/stack?
  4. You might as well want to get rid of extragreen lines. They are not a problem but removing them could prevent a bit of confusion some modders or you yourself might get.

    Simplistic and neat.
[Normal]
  1. Since this is a very simplistic difficulty as well I would recomend copying the second break from Easy. This way the spread will feel more consistent.
  2. 00:38:101 (3,4) - consider doing a renversion here (Ctrl+G)? So, the downbeat on 00:39:077 - will get a clickable beat and the vocals will also have a neat 1/1 slider following them.
  3. 00:53:711 (6,2) - assuming that this is supposed to be very simplistic the way these two appear right one under another feels quite unexpected. Besides, it stands out of the context the other patterns set.
  4. 01:31:760 (1) - the weird thing is that Easy had more dense rhythm here. You might want to copy that from Marianna just to keep the difficulty progression consistent.

    Cool. That is a very easy Normal for sure, but it's still pretty nice.
[Advanced]
  1. 00:32:248 (3,4,5) - being the first difficulty to introduce 1/4 patterns I would recommend to start with 3/4 sliders.
  2. 00:46:394 (1) - this will be pretty hard to read and confusing, as there are no visible hints on the number of repeats this slider has.
    Note: 00:54:199 (5) - same. I would rather stick to either having only these sliders or those short 1/4s like 01:11:272 (2,3,4) - this.

    Either try to nerf it or add some intensity to the Normal as it barely uses any 1/2. The gap feels quite aggressive, to tell the truth.
[Pachiru's Hard]
  1. 00:21:028 (4,1) - the spacing change here is quite sudden. I would drop spacing values to x1.5 the jump feels too intense and overall feels unnecessary.
    Note: 01:09:807 (4,1) - something similar, but it's an antijump this time.

  2. 00:22:004 (4,5) - you never know what skins people come up with. Move the objects around as to keep the area of the reverse arrow clear in order to prevent any possible reading difficulties.
    Note: 01:01:028 (4,5) - same here
  3. 00:27:370 - try to place a circle here instead? Your Normal had a circle here, leaving it unclickable in a much harder difficulty goes against the spread progression.
    Note: 01:05:418 (3) - same here

    Looks cool.
Neat one. I'm unsure of the spread N-Adv-H and the breaks which are inconsistent, but apart from this it is a pretty decent mapset.

00:08:345 (2,3,4) - Could this 1/4 also be a 0.5x spacing? I see this is the only wide 1/4.
00:22:004 (4,5) - The slider reverse arrow is hard to read. Though this isn't directly unrankable, a high portion of the reverse arrow is being hidden to indicate the rhythm properly. You'll want to make the arrow more visible, at least as 01:01:028 (4,5).
00:37:126 (1,2,3,4,5) - 01:16:150 (1,2,3,4,5) - This star -> S slider pattern is quite noticable, while you were using a different combo color usage. Since your map is showing a great structure, assuring such consistency would work better. The reason for this inconsistency is because you've used 3 combo colors while the metronome is 4/4. If you got no special reason, adding one more combo color will ensure better consistency.

Like I told you, Simple was meant to be an Easy difficulty, while Advanced was a Normal. I would rather not add anything between these "blanks" as they are follow the strong beats of the song and a bit of the vocals. Also, the way I mapped this, with copy/paste of the same pattern, makes it interesting as the lyrics are the same at this point.

Edit: The song is coming from the show "RuPaul's Drag Race" as the 8th season of the show. Naomi Smalls, which was the contestant shown in the beatmap's video, landed on the Top 3 and they were asked to prepare a final lipsync to a song Lucian Piane wrote for them. (Which is also the official song writter of RuPaul Charles)

Also, looking on Logo's official YouTube channel (which is the main broadcaster of RuPaul's Drag Race), you can see the finalist's video here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iuGvnPn16v8

However, looking at Lucian Piane's official website, I do not see any content related to the three songs he wrote for the finalists (I Don't Like To Show Off; Fat, Fem & Asian and Legs) and there is nothing on his Soundcloud neither.

After looking at diverse references, the only "official sources" would be iTunes, Amazon and Spotify.

In conclusion, the real artist of the song is Lucian Piane. As for the title, if we follow the three sources above, it should be changed from "Legs" to "Legs (From "RuPaul's Drag Race 8")".
Personally, I believe "(From "RuPaul's Drag Race 8")" should not be in the song title as the source is already "RuPaul's Drag Race", so it confirms that the song is from this show, specially.

Let me know what you think about it, because I plan to map the other two songs of the finalists! :)
