i forgot about this... sorry orz
[thzz's Orb]
long mod again lol... i really think that this set has potential, but i don't feel comfortable nominating it for now, i think it would be better if you could gather further opinions on the hard/insane diffs since the other diffs are already ready for being ranked.
i'll just mark this with a star, as i'm interested on this
good luck for now (:
i forgot about this... sorry orz
[thzz's Orb]
- 00:06:721 (1,3) - stack is slightly off, not really important but i think it's worthy to mention
- 00:45:485 - 00:45:569 - i personally think that normal sampleset works better for those snares
- 00:47:170 (3) - stack is off again, just by a little pixel maybe, not sure if it's intended
- 01:24:586 - shouldn't it use normal sampleset? maybe you missed it because of my previous mod
- 01:44:304 (1,2,3,4) - using 3/4 slider into a triplet doesn't play that nice to me, i think it's because i'm already used to just have 1 note after the 3/4 slider, so maybe you could try this instead
- 00:15:822 (4,1) - i think you could move this a bit to downside, so it doesn't look that close to 00:15:316 (3) -
- 00:32:339 (1,2) - blanket is clearly off
- 00:38:912 (4,6,7,8) - i think you could balance the visual spacing here
- 00:43:125 (1,2) - same about distance, it looks a bit too close imo,
- 00:45:148 (3) - normal sampleset finish doesn't really fit the music imo, i think it will sound a lot better if you use soft addition
- 00:45:822 (1,3) - idk about this, i find it kinda weird at the first sight, (1) is curved, which implies a smooth and soft movement, while (3) has a lot of spikes... it doesn't really represent the music imo, i'd personally use a curved shape for (3) too. maybe something like this would look better. it's just my personal opinion, though
- 00:48:519 (1,2) - i think that overlapping these 2 sliders doesn't really represent the music, i'd rather use more spacing for 00:48:856 (2) - in order to emphasize vocals... you could maybe use the typical ctrl+h technique here
- 00:51:215 - from this point you're only focusing the objects placement at the right side of the screen, so maybe you could change flow a bit on 00:52:563 (1) -
- 01:14:979 (4) - kinda exaggerated distance for this specific beat, how about stacking it on 01:13:968 (6) - ?
- 01:16:496 (6,1) - it felt weird when i was playing, not only because of the blanket distance but also because of the lack of emphasis on 01:16:833 (1) - how about trying something like this
- 01:40:766 (1,2,3) - i think you could use a bit more distance for 01:41:271 (3) - as it's a really strong beat, it could be easily achieved if you move 01:41:103 (2) - a bit
- 01:44:136 (5,1) - basically the same as previous point, 01:44:304 (1) - should have a bit more distance imo
- 00:11:440 (1,1,2,3) - i find this kinda awkward to play. mainly because of the spacing increase plus linear movements how about trying sharp angles instead?
- 00:18:519 (5,6,7) - isn't it a bit too dense for this type of diff? considering that normal uses a long 1/1 gap, would be better to use a repetitive 1/4 slider instead
- 00:21:552 (1,2,3) - i think this pattern could be improved. the current one looks a bit cramped imo and it doesn't really emphasizes the claps so i'd recommend to do something like this
- 00:25:597 (1,3,4) - if you look closely, (3) looks closer to (1), which makes it to look kinda messy... i think you could balance the spacing here
- 00:28:125 - super strong beat mapped as slidertail doesn't work that well orz.
- 00:30:653 (4) - i don't really get the jumpy pattern here, there's nothing really important on 00:30:653 - and also you're ignoring the strong vocal sound on 00:30:822 - ): how about placing the 1/1 slider on the red tick instead?
- 00:39:080 (1,2) - the beat on 00:39:417 - is pretty regular, so the big jump doesn't really make sense. i'd recommend to reduce the spacing a bit
- 00:40:092 (4,5) - it doesn't feel good to have 2 completely different sounds in just one stack, how about placing them normally?
- 00:51:889 (3) - problem with this jump is that it looks like a 1/1 gap, so it might confuse players
- 01:01:327 (4,5,6,7) - you should avoid the 1/2 circles spam, as it's really hard for this type of diff. i guess you could easyly change 4,5 for a slider instead
- 01:02:844 - finish doesn't really fit the music
- 01:09:417 (3,1) - would certainly look better if the distance were equal to the previous patterns
- 01:20:035 (2,3) - how about using ctrl+h for these sliders? the angles look kinda random rbh ;;
- 01:23:406 (5,1) - kinda weird that you decided to suddenly stop rhythm on the kiai, i think replacing this 2 circles for a 1/1 slider would feel better
- 01:27:114 (4,5,6,7,8,1) - isn't it a bit too dense for this type of diff? try to replace 01:27:114 (4,5,6) - for a 1/4 repetitive slider instead
- 01:27:957 - finish sounds so random D:
- 01:30:316 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2,1) - i saw you decided to not change this pattern... but it's defenitily too much for a hard diff.
