I rarely visit the main page of the osu!website and I know that I am not the only one. Eg today I realized that I missed the love voting. I think stuff like this should be announced in the client (like tournaments for example), that would also increase the participation during votes like this one

Although I am on the site like 24/7, getting updated when in-game is really nice
Having an #Announce post for a new newspage, and a button (like OWC) for the voting of maps would be awesome!

The idea yes, but not the way he proposed it. Having a chat bot notifying you would still require yout to look into that channel frequently, and I look into #announce about as often as i see the websites main page
