find mappers you like and just observe what they do, or just find specific maps you like and look into them. that's what i do a lot, just find patterns that i find really appealing and try to incorporate them into my own style if possible.
depending on how slow or fast the bpm is, you can play with stream jumps as well. like i personally love this map

personally, if anything , i generally use really symmetrical curved stream patterns
but you can really do anything, like idk what this is but i just overlapped a bunch of stuff
i mean i can literally just go full on basic bitch mode and do this
this isn't really a stream, but i like this pattern as well. you can incorporate it into a steram as well if you'd like though.
