Hello~ From my modding queue. Please note that these are just my personal suggestions and are optional. (Also, I am not used to whistles.)General
- Your background is 1365x768. Please change it to 1366x7[/color]68 to exactly fit the 16/9 ratio.
Changed it.- There are some inherited points which serve no purpose. For example, 00:53:320.
Oops, didn't notice. Removed it (and other purposeless ones as well)Taikothon
- 01:02:162 (516) - change to k to emphasize the hi-hat(?) and the guitar. d sounds bland here.
Agreed, k sounds better.- 01:52:215 (901,902,...918,919) - This stream sounds and plays a bit random. I am not clearly sure why you placed a kat 01:53:004 (911) here which exactly sounds the same as 01:53:083 (912) (which is a d). I would personally go for the image below (doesn't have to be exact):
These four consecutives kats represent those increasing snares, and this stream has a nice 4-4-2-2-1 mono group color which adds a smooth playability.
Changed the stream, a bit differently, though. I listened to drums more closely and it's accurate now- 02:23:478 (1160) - change to d. Don't see any emphasis to put a k here. Plus, it disrupts the smooth flow.
I put it there just for diversity in patterns, but I think it may be better to remove it.- 03:50:636 (1830) - change to d. No emphasized sounds, and k overpowers this section.
Changed.- 04:02:715 (1919) - change to d? Low pitch here and 5 k in a row sounds a bit too strong.
There are 2 streams in a row - first one ends with 4 snares (04:02:478 - 04:02:715) and second one is a long kdddkddd stream, like on 02:39:425. So I'll keep it.- 04:11:636 (2007,2008,2009,2010,2011) - ctrl +g. dkkdd gives an abrupt flow.
Changed.- 05:14:793 (2429) - This note really should be a d to keep the upbeat/downbeat consistency and the flow. k here feels disconnected.
I'll keep k because it was intended to be one. It's 4 repeating patterns, I wanted to make 1st and 3rd ddkdd, and 2nd and 4th - ddkdk.
- 05:21:820 (2,4) - How about swapping these two? Makes the stream more complex and fun while following the music. (Note 2 can be a kat to match that high guitar sound)
Good idea, changed.- 05:29:004 to 05:29:241 -You were following the guitar solo from 05:19:846 to 05:28:925 . But in this part, you decided to follow the drums instead, which breaks the flow and ends the stream in a weird and unsatisfying way. I would honestly go for that epic guitar solo and add more 1/4 notes until 05:29:241.
Actually, when I first submitted the map, it was 7.1 stars because of this solo. It had a long 1/4 and 1/6 stream from 05:29:951 to 05:36:899. But I was told that it's just too op and I agreed. But now I decided to add some 1/6's on 05:29:004 - 05:29:635 to finish solo part in a more nice way (guitar goes kinda crazy there so 1/4's are not enough ). Though, I'll probably keep 05:29:951 - 05:36:899 as it is now, because I have no idea how to map this crazy guitar without making this part too hard.- 05:32:478 (38,60) - Same reason as 05:14:793 (2429). ddkdk just doesn't blend that well.
^ 05:14:793- 06:36:267 (31,32,...,54,55) - Why would you put one of the longer 1/4 streams in the relaxing part of the song? They don't fit well and this causes some serious inconsistency on the note density.
No no, it has to be there. This part of song is full of 1/4 cymbals and I'm following drums. Yeah, it's relaxing. But it doesn't mean it has to be very easy i just really don't like undermapping so ill keep it- 07:19:135 (346) - I would delete this so that the 5-plet pattern starts at a white tick. (This gives consistency since other triplet and 5-plet patterns in this section start at a white tick)
Actually, it's a 7-plet pattern here. You can clearly hear ride cymbal on 07:19:135.- 07:50:161 - (Extremely minor) The sv change makes this note a bit ugly to read. I would personally move the inherited point to 07:50:319 (and add a new inherited point at 07:50:161 to keep the same volume) to avoid note overlapping.
It really looks much better, changed.- 08:26:477 to 08:28:056 - This is oddly satisfying.
- 10:36:582 to 10:37:766 - This is evenly satisfying.
What a nice map. Some more polishing is needed (note density and structure) but you are definitely on the right track.
GL with it~
