Since you did added a gd I'll leave the rest of the diff as it
@Hpocks I don't see what the actual problem here is. It's how I draw sliders and I can see the slight angles myself. It doesnt make a single difference in game to the player and I don#t see why it should matter from a mapper's perspective if the change itself is miniscule as you say; because of this I've left all sliders as they are
First TV show I ever watched. Would be nice to also be my first ranked map :pUnderforest wrote:

[Hard]
Just something small here,
00:39:355 (5,1) - This is spaced to emphasise, right? 00:41:146 (4,1) - Why not this as well? I actually changed this pattern up a tad, should make more sense now. But yeah, put a jump there.
[Fireworks of Flavor]
Most of it are about spacing, if you find you have nothing wrong with your spacing and it's full intentional. Please don't bother looking through it. It might cause stress :s
And probably not all my suggestions are good, please don't change everything if it doesn't fit. I'll take a look
00:00:623 (2,3) - and 00:01:743 (5,1) - and 00:04:205 (3,4) - have big spacing with the same sound, but this one feels kinda left out 00:03:310 (4,1) - I know there is not enough space for good flow. Maybe a suggestion, stack 00:03:758 (1) - with 00:02:638 (3) - 00:03:758 (1) - Feels kinda like where the music "resets" in a way, and I made the spacing lower here to along with that.
*omg too many timestamps i'm confused*
00:11:370 (2,3) - does this need big spacing? It sounds weaker than 00:11:370 (2,4) - Hm, I see what you're getting at, but I like the spacing here as it's kind of similar a sound to 00:12:713 (1); in fact you'll notice in this early part there are 1/1 sliders as the song builds up because I wanted to start off the rhythm by focusing on the guitar, so emphasizing the guitar makes sense here I think.
00:11:817 - And ''For'' starts on this white tick so I think the spacing should be reduced. I suggest here you make 00:10:922 (1,3) - a blanket so it can be for both aesthetics and fair spacing. I've tried blanketing those before and it doesn't look very good.
00:16:295 (1,2) - I don't think this needs this big spacing as well. Adjusted
00:16:519 (2) - I tried 360 degrees positioning, tried to find a good spot for this one, but I believe stack this note with this 00:15:623 (4) - 's end is the only option I have to suggest.
00:15:623 (4,3) - Then you can try making these look more parallel to each other, that will help you increase spacing here 00:16:519 (2,3) - which will emphasise the sound on slider (3). I was thinking of stack it this note 00:15:399 (3) - . Then blanket with 00:16:295 (1) - Not necessary I believe, and I'm also not entirely clear what you mean here
With that applied, spacing here 00:16:743 (3,4) - will be reduced from your original one but if you listen closely, note (4) doesn't need that big spacing to emphasise it as well, on the other hand 5,6,7 does. You can try gradually increasing in spacing from 4 to 7, but not too much and big spacing 00:17:862 (7,1) -
00:18:534 (2,3,4,5) - From (1) to (2) is ok but you might want to do the same thing I mentioned above, gradually increase in spacing for these notes.
BUT! I find this rhythm is kinda... off. I believe this 00:18:981 (4) - should be a slider instead, because starting slider (5) on your original map doesn't sound that well to me.
First) because of the vocal.
Second) 00:19:429 - Slider end on this sound is definitely not ok for me. ( I doubted a lot before I posted this xd )
Rhythm here is fine to me, I'll try to explain. 00:18:086 (1,2,3,4,5,6,1,2) - Can be seen as a section that is hybrid; it maps to both the vocals and the guitar, and tries to emphasize sections in both properly. For example, 00:18:534 (2) - is a strong vocal / clap, so it gets spacing. Similarly, 00:19:877 (1) - is a strong guitar, so it gets high spacing. 00:19:205 (5) - ending on a clap might be questionable, but I think it's something that's fine in the end. This section plays well, and changing the rhythm is not vital enough to ruin the pattern imo.
00:22:116 (2,3,4,5,6) - Yea, same old spacing issue. You can try making a zig-zag movement from 3 to 6 with spacing gradually increase, but reduce spacing from 2 to 3 first.
00:23:907 (2,3) - This spacing is a little bit far and feel awkward to play
I suggest to make it like this if you want to keep the old pattern.
I think both of these are fine.
OR
00:23:907 (2,3) - Having these 2 stacked and make a zig-zag way down.
00:28:832 (1,2) - Sound on note 2 is weaker than 00:29:280 (3) - yet 00:28:832 (1,2,3,4) - spacing is constant here xd I disagree! 2 has the vocal, and 3 has the clap; also this flow is naturally somewhat difficulty (especially the way it's angled) so I don't think I should change the spacing here.
00:29:504 (4,5,6) - spacing is actually longer from (5) to (6) than from (4) but visually, it doesn't. Not sure what you mean by this
00:30:623 (1,2,3,4) - To be honest, I don't think scissor-pattern is suitable for this part as the only note that can be placed furthest is this note 00:31:071 (3) - I think it fits :p
00:31:519 (5,6,7,1) - I think moderate spacing is better 00:32:414 (1) - I LOVE CLIFFORD!
00:33:534 (4,1) - Ironically, such strong sound and you have an average spacing adjused
00:35:996 (1,2,3,4,5) - How about like this? Note (2) doesn't need that much spacing plus you can see spacing increase in this picture and in the original one the angle from (4) to (5) doesn't look very neat I get the concern but I like how this plays so I'm keeping it
00:37:787 (1,2,3,4) - You see here, 00:38:235 (3,4) - deserves the emphasis thus this spacing is correct. But 00:37:787 (1,2) - just not seems right and cause this pattern boring to play. Because visually it has the same spacing so if you can just reduce this 00:38:011 (2) - 's spacing, like moving it to the middle of this slider Redid the pattern, thanks for the catch; I hadn't considered this before
00:38:459 (4) - . Don't have to blanket, somewhere in the middle without overlap is good. Hope you get what I mean Understood!
00:38:459 (4,5,6) - Keep spacing constant here because the vocal isn't that strong to make big spacing. Did a thing
00:39:355 (6,1) - But this is ok, you probably get why now
00:39:578 (1,2,3,4,1) - This one is actually ok
00:42:041 (2) - I was thinking if it would be fun to place this note on the 00:42:489 (3) - 's end. Because it would help to keep this 00:41:370 (1,2) - spacing reasonable. 00:41:370 (1,2) - is pretty reasonable, the sharp guitar sound there justifies it
00:42:937 (4,5,1,2) - You have a stack first, then a small jump from (1) to (2) and burst to star-pattern from (2) to (3) which I think is unhealthy for the audiences who are at this skill level. Well they signed up for a low bpm insane, they better be ready for low bpm single tapping
Try 00:43:161 (1,2,3) - Constant 1.6x ds here, same pattern of course, mind the overlaps. And spacing can be kept the same from here 00:43:832 (4,5) - Unchanged, but thanks for the idea
00:46:743 (1,2,3) - I would like to point out again why this pattern doesn't work well originally. 00:46:743 (1,2) - Spacing is too big for something that doesn't need emphasise, 00:47:190 (3) - something that does need emphasise has small spacing. You can tell from visually that the distance is bigger from (1) to (2)
So from my suggestion, you place (2) on this slider 00:45:847 (3) - to have a blanket and spacing is reasonable. 00:47:190 (3) - And this can just replace (2)'s original spot.
^This pattern is my baby, not changing. One of my favorite parts of the song.
00:47:862 (5) - Lower this one and move a few grids to the left, mind the overlap
00:50:325 (1) - I think this slider doesn't suit with the rhythm. I think 1/2 slider and a note is better. 00:50:325 (1,1) - long sliders for the guitars to emphasize the sounds and to add a pause between all the single taping
00:50:773 (2,3,4,5,6,7) - You can do monstrata's triangles pattern jumps here because 00:50:773 (2,4,6) - Vocal is stressed on the white tick and you can make jumps on those while keeping moderate distance on the red ticks. but my imperfect star :v I like how this plays
00:52:116 (1,2,3,4,5,6) - Same for this one I guess, but this time it isn't about vocal but instrument instead. Again, understandable but unchanged
=====================
sorry, please don't hate me ; ;

00:29:504 (4,5,6) - spacing is actually longer from (5) to (6) than from (4) but visually, it doesn't. Not sure what you mean by this I mean slider (5) is kinda blocking a part of the follow point. Which makes the distances of these 3 look almost the same. But ye I think it's fine
00:30:623 (1,2,3,4) - To be honest, I don't think scissor-pattern is suitable for this part as the only note that can be placed furthest is this note 00:31:071 (3) - I think it fits :p Let me explain again, 3 has the clap and 2 doesn't. Yet 2 and 3 have the same spacing. I think 3 should be more highlighted. The scissor-pattern allows similar strong/weak sounds only, I think. That's how I see this problem
00:31:519 (5,6,7,1) - I think moderate spacing is better 00:32:414 (1) - I LOVE CLIFFORD! I included 1 by mistake xd
00:37:787 (1,2,3,4) - You see here, 00:38:235 (3,4) - deserves the emphasis thus this spacing is correct. But 00:37:787 (1,2) - just not seems right and cause this pattern boring to play. Hi hi! Hello!
[Hard]Unrelated to your mod, I made a triangle out of 00:46:071 (3,4,1) -
- 00:00:847 (4) - Subjective, but I think arranging this slider into something like this would make the pattern 00:00:176 (1,2,3,4) - neater. Cool idea, I applied this.
- 00:10:250 (3,4,5,1,2,3) - Subjective here again. For both sets (00:10:250 (3,4,5) - and 00:10:922 (1,2,3) - ), I would create a different pattern for one of set, instead of what is currently: the flow is circular, but both sets are the same, just one that is symmetric to the other. And that doesn't emphasize much the new measure 00:10:922 -. You're right. Me placing emphasis on 00:11:593 (4), now that I think about it, was very much a mistake. Instead, I made the jump go to 00:10:922 (1) - to emphasize the new measure, and 00:12:265 (5) - now has the tiniest of jumps to it to emphasize the clap. Great idea. thanks!
- 00:16:967 (4) - This slider's end is not snapped properly to 00:17:414 -. lmao, I'm actually baffled that I never spotted this considering the two sliderticks. Fixed.
Unrelated to your mod, I noticed that 00:23:459 (1) - had underwhelming rhythm, so I split into a 1/2 slider and a hit circle, and this pattern is now MUCH better.- 00:39:578 (1) - I would move this slider to around x:106 y:245 to make the pattern 00:38:907 (3,4,5,1) - a consistent parallelogram shape. Oh, good point. To explain what I had before, 00:39:578 (1,1) - were symmetrical, but they're not visible in game at the same time so that structure isn't as valuable as the parallelogram here. Thanks for the idea!
[Fireworks of Flavor]Not so of a wall of text here, haha (or is it?). Feel free to call me back for further assistance!
- 00:11:593 (3,4) - The spacing is quite big, and since you're following the guitar here, I think this spacing should be lower than the spacing in-between 00:12:265 (4,1) - instead, to create emphasis on the guitar sound and the new measure on 00:12:713 -. Good point. It took me a while, but I think I've gome up with a solution.
- 00:16:743 (3,4) - Placing the circle first then the slider will follow the strings much better, since it is played on 00:16:967 -, Having a clickable object instead here would fit when picking a string on the guitar (that's how I picture it, lol). Plus it's bringing consistency to what you follow in the section 00:14:504 - until 00:19:877 -, as all of the objects in it are follow the guitar, notably 00:15:623 (4,5) -. You're right, I have fixed this. Required me to move some notes around, but I believe I did so in such a way that everything is emphasized properly.
- 00:23:459 (1) - Minor issue, but the slider's end is touching the top bar. You can lower it down to avoid this. Did so
- 00:32:414 (1,2,3) - The breaks sound pretty weird in my opinion. Currently you're skipping the noticeable and quite a big beat on 00:33:086 - to map the vocals, which is possible, but I don't think so in this case. It feels too for a sudden when you change instruments. That's why I suggest you map the rhythm differently. Try this perhaps: (slider 1 is on 00:32:414 - and slider 4 ends on 00:33:981 -.) This makes sense, and I see what you mean. I followed the rhythm you gave.

[Gero's Hard]
- 00:12:713 (1,2) - Spacing it like this may be difficult to read 00:13:384 (2) - properly, I think. Maybe a spacing like 00:19:877 (1,2) - would go better. Yeah could be a little bit difficult, but I always used this kind of jumps/patterns in my difficulties, especially if we refer it as Hard, so it's always great to have some spacing variations like this one for fun, anyways the BPM is not that high to avoid it.
- 00:51:220 (3,4) - I don't think this requires a big spacing when the singer doesn't sing it loud. I'd stick with the constant distance 1.20x. Considering the jumps I've made in the whole difficulty, I see no problems in keeping it as is.
o o o o I didn't recheck properly sorryyyCerulean Veyron wrote:
