Getting worse

I've been spending a good amount of time playing exclusively DT, hitting up to 300 bpm, and now I struggle to play without it. At slower bpms I'm very sloppy and it doesn't feel like there is any control in my fingers when hitting quite a number of patterns.

This isn't a question like 'How do I come break out of this?' or 'How do I regain my form?', I just felt like posting

i mean i guess there's nothing wrong with being an exclusively DT player and never touching anything else if you want to be that kind of person. play what you enjoy, and if you only enjoy DT and high bpm, then you can avoid playing everything else.

finger control on low bpm is definitely hard if you're used to playing really fast stuff, and the only real way to get better is to play a variety of speeds. you could spend a whole day playing maps around 160bpm to train your fingers on how to get accuracy on that speed. or you can cycle back and forth between 160bpm and 240bpm to really put pressure on your playing speed and improve your ability to adjust and play any kind of map. but like i said, if you really like playing 240bpm and you can handle that speed, there's nothing wrong with just throwing DT on. plus DT and higher bpm give more pp anyway :^)
