One definition is heavily loaded, the other ones aren't. You use the loaded one on purpose even though there are different ways to say it. You are being edgy on purpose.
If calling someone edgy isn't a good point of argument, then neither is calling someone elitist.
and no, the word race isn't as ambiguous as you make it out to be. Most People would agree that Islam is not a race, as you could tell from the corrections and backlash in this thread.
