It wasn't like that last time I checked.

I've seen someone show me all the codes on an AC11 asian, and it came out as exactly how I put it.

And besides Asian versions always has some kind of quirk in them (I'm pointing at YOU, C-Pop songs... why did you replace Variety ;_;).

This song was used in the boss battle with Teruru (Tellurium), the cosmic mecha, on Taiko Wii 2. The rhythm is slightly harder to grasp, as most of the notes are 1/3 compound beats.

On Oni it has 567 beats (sadly not 581). BPM is 144

By Direct Download I mean I just copy the link location when one selects "Click to Start Download", so instead of going on the site to download the file, you can just select the link location I copied to start downloading it instantly. Works for me anyways :l

It won't if the user hasn't initiated that download first. To be simple, the download URL changes everytime someone accesses the download page. The download URL is also IP sensitive, it seems.

I think I need a moment to vent a bit. >:(

Tried 100 times on Jigoku no Daiou, and I still couldn't FC it due to some dumb mistake in the ending section. I mean I got the patterns pinned down, but these "不可" hits irritate me to no end. I'm almost to the point considering giving up at 199 golds, and if I DO manage to get it, there better be a "200 golds" letter...

Practise hand-switching at the end parts. It makes life a lot easier.

Then delete all red lines and start working from there...

Well I didn't particularly follow your handswitching advice, but I still managed to FC it. Also, one of my screwup scores is more points than my FC score, lol.

Zekira, why do you use the touch screen? Sure, you'll be able to hit big notes better, but you're looking to FC the songs, and buttons is much better for that. Not to mention DRUMROLLLLLLLLZ.

But that's just my opinion. I'm awful on Tatacon compared to button play. :P

@PC: I can't FC Hataraku on the DS pads... it's just too slow pressing. In the around million plays I've done on Hataraku, both buttons and touch screen, I have only done it 2 times, both on touch screen... the structure of the DS buttons is just too uncomofrtable, just like the PSP's and not like Classic Wii Controller / PS2 controller (somehow the fact that you're holding the buttons while carrying a screen seems to be the main problem, I guess...)

I don't even think I can FC Metal Hawk without an actual arcade drum or something... the touch screen is just too slow

Is Taiko Trials 3 ready to be released, or should we wait till AC14 has done its part?

So far I already know certain songs that will make it in (in this order). Although I'm no expert at fullcomboing I have done it for DS3, so that probably sort of "proves" my knowledge with the songs.

1. 百鬼夜行 (Hyakki Yakou) Normal route (I dunno which one is the hardest but let's go with this as the starting gimmick.)
2. お菓子刑事の歌 (Okashi Dega no Uta) (Is it just me or is this harder to FC than a lot of 9 stars and even certain 10s?)
3. 旋風ノ舞 (AC) (Senpuu no Mai) (DEATHSTREAM.)
4. Tank! Ura (All this rhythm crap... yeah you get what I mean.)
5. mint tears (Fast with complicated beats. Overall, kind of like a slower Rotter Tarmination Ura.)
6. メタルホークBGM1 (Metal Hawk) (As Zekira claims as the "un-FCable song", this definitely hits one of the higher spots.)
7. Rotter Tarmination Ura (This should do as a nice returning song.)
8. 練習曲 Op.10-4 Ura (Etude) (Beats are complicated as hell, and has 900+ notes, overall can be a very big problem.)
9. はたラク2000 (Hataraku 2000) (No explanation needed...)
10. Let's leave that for Taiko 14. Maybe Taiko Time can be a potentially tough song with possible 999 beats.

Now as I've said, I'm not 100% sure if these should be the ones, especially the ones in the beginning and the AC-exclusives. However I think the later ones are solid choices for the next Taiko Trials, so be it.

Taiko trials 3 sounds good,but I find it odd that Hyakki Yakou's
in it..perhaps we can bring back one more God-song to replace it?

I'm also not too fond of AC!Senpuu being in it,once you get through
the deathstream,it ain't Taiko Trial material.

And yeah,I bet AC14 should bring in some new batshit insane songs.
Perhaps going even tougher than the four gods?

I put Hyakki Yakou in thanks to its "big note" gimmick. Since TT is about scoring the best I decided this is probably the most suitable.

Otherwise, do you want Ordyne there instead? (Old songs FTW.)

Also not a lot of people can effectively do deathstreams. Me being one of them. ;_; Hence I placed Etude Ura over Rotter Tarmination Ura.

We already did have the god songs on Trial 2. I figured that each trial should always have some new, hard songs, otherwise each trial is basically clearing the god songs all over again.

And since it's osu I'm even less inclined to do it.

No what I mean is that the god songs will NOT be part of the trials, but instead will have its own section.

EDIT: Guys, is it "Hakuucho no Mizuumi" or "Shiratori no Mizumi"? Both Shiratori and Hakuucho are synonymous and use both kanji, but which one was used for Taiko? viewtopic.php?f=6&t=36009&p=520168 <--- confirm please.

This applies to every game version that Soroban is in, Zekira. Make sure you have 0 points when the song arrives at the note change part, otherwise it won't go to Kurouto.

On AC12 it's some random blah strings... all the rest is morse codes.

Hataraku's lyrics is hard to translate :P It's a bunch of mad dialogue and intermittent song.

According to the article, score evalutation is improved and motivated with the adding of trophies!
Similar to osu! achievements, trophies will be unlocked after reaching some particular requests, and then an image of the trophy won will be sent to the phone after the score immission on Taiko Dojo! A good idea for new, cute wallpapers. ;3

Plus, if you attach a twitter account to the score (I don't understand how, anyway) trophies will be published on the twitter account!

And apparently when Don and Katsu laugh they go "カカカカッ" instead of "ハハハハ". My reaction to that cannot be explained in words lol

Also, can someone help me write the Mika series blog post? I know all the songs but have no experience playing anything before Crane City :P Which means I have not played Eringi no Ekubo, Neko Kujira, Scroll Mika and Diet Padarise.

@arken: In osu!standard play do the slider speed changes even come to play for those TaikOsu maps? Plus, when used in moderation, that guideline could pretty much be broken. It's been a guideline of only 3 slider speeds to avoid abuse, but if it's pretty readable that should be OK.

I mean, you're not seriously going to make an 8x spaced note at the end of Kita Saitama2000, right? Well in my K.Sai I stacked all the last notes with the HS just because that HS would be too chaotic. Then those slowdowns don't really matter much since they're just one note per signature, which pretty much means spacing is pretty insignificant.

It's usually a concern of slider abuses, but since we're rarely going to be using sliders for TaikOsu maps, this should do.

Also remember that it's a guideline (supposedly, as far as I know).

K guys here's some news of AC14...apparently an arcade in Japan
released AC14 before the official release date.
Here's some info,according to 2Ch.(note:I'm not sure whether the info's reliable or not)

1.There's no AC version of Tenyou,it's the same as the one in DS3.
2.Taiko Time's a 10-star song,although it's easier than it sounds.There are tatsujin/kurouto/futsuu notes,BTW
3.SORA-III is a 9-star song,with slow BPM and mixed patterns
4.NECOLOGY is a 9-star song
5.KAGEKIYO gets an 10-star Inner Oni notechart (single player),with those crazy 1/24(?) patterns seen in Inner!Tank
6 .Ridge Racer also gets a 10-star Inner Oni notechart
7.Both "Black Rock Shooter" and "My soul,your Beats!" are 8-star songs

Oh well, nice inner oni choices anyway. They better put in those on Wii3.

Oh yeah, I was supposed to share this with my latest post but I.R.2.Lazy to edit my post.

I decided to make an alternate set of score numbers for the Taiko Skin rather than using the ones in the official Taiko Skin.

The ones I made are using the epgyobld.ttf font.

Note: I put the score numbers in its own folder in case you ever want to alternate from my score numbers back to the original ones; you should put the ones you are currently using in its own folder too for convenience.

I will probably try to make it more spaced out on the next update to the score numbers, but imho I like it when the numbers are condensed to each other >w<

The problem is that the old score-x.png is way too high up. This one fixes the issue. :)

By the way, this beatmap is not any difficulty of branch (Fuutsu, Kuroto, Tatsujin). It's a mixing.
