  2. 00:00:113 - from here to 00:06:194 - here, take out all of the whistles. They're unnecessary. Oops, that wasn't supposed to be there. Fixed.
  3. *00:19:572 (1) - Shape is readable, but not for Normal's players. Removed slider touching itself.
  4. *00:22:815 (1) - ^ Removed slider touching itself.
  5. *00:25:653 (4,5,6) - The three claps don't sound nice together. Generally, claps are used to emphasize downbeats, and shouldn't be used on red ticks. Removed the first clap. I kept the one on the red tick because there's a clap in the actual music.
  6. *00:25:653 - From here onward is a spike in difficulty. There's a lot of 1/2 tapping that should probably be converted into sliders. For example, 00:28:085 - here, I would use this rhythm. To give you an idea, if you have a combo that is higher than 8, then you need to make circles into sliders to reduce the difficulty. Removed most of the 1/2 tapping.
  7. 00:28:491 (5,1) - Fix blanket. I fixed some, but I think most of the blankets are fine. That, and/or DS makes blankets impossible sometimes.
  8. 00:39:031 (1,2,3) - I dislike the flow. Here are a few suggestions: ss1 ss2 ss3 Done!
  9. 00:47:140 (5) - Stack. Fixed.
  10. 00:46:329 (4,5,6,7) - Fix blankets.
  11. 00:52:815 - I dislike the flow. Here are a few suggestions: ss1 ss2 Done!

In my opinion, following the melody is easier than following a different rhythm. That might just be me though. I'll change it if more people bring it up.

General:

  1. there are some unused hitsounds

OH YES

  1. HP9 is overkill, use 7 as max, HP don't affect the star ranting etc, so try to be more lenient with it.
  2. 00:06:599 (1,2) - really unexpected, use a slider instead, unless you want a bunch of people hitting 100 here.
  3. 00:09:842 (1,2) - same as above, if you really want to keep this rhythm then use more spacing, current one is missleading
  4. 00:12:275 (4,5,1) - 1/4 and 1/2 spacinge are so similar, this is a issue and should be fixed, since this happen in all the difficulty, if you gonna use alot of 1/4 jumps then be sure to make the 1/2s bigger than the 1/4s, see 00:13:491 (2,3,4) -
  5. 00:19:977 (4) - here you mapped this drum, but then you randomly decide to ignore 00:20:383 -
  6. 00:22:004 (7) - same as above, they are really important in the music and shouldn't be ignored. There are more and your current rhythm is confused and doesn't fit the song that well.
  7. 00:22:511 (10) - you can remove this one to bring more emphasis to 00:22:612 (11) - the melody sounds alot better
  8. 00:25:653 (9,1) - really bad spacing, this is the same spacing for some 1/4s and 1/2s, but this is 1/8, I doubt someone would icon this map with stuff like this.
  9. 00:26:261 (1,2) - then the 1/2 spacing is the same as the before 1/8
  10. 00:26:869 (3,4) - and then the 1/4 spacing is bigger than the 1/2 , etc if you want to make antijumps make them noticeables, the same when doing jumps, the spacing in this diff is really bad, I strongly suggest you to readjust the spacing in the full diff, as well at some rhythms

  12. 01:30:923 (1) - weird slider shape is some symbol or something? if not try to make it a bit symmetrical , 01:30:923 (1,1,1) - also spacing.

  1. 00:00:923 (3) - just do the same as the hardest diffs, your current rhythm sounds weird, mainly because you ignore some drums and you ma others, also you don't map the full melody either, so follow the melody or the drums, but don't mix them.
  2. 00:16:734 (2,3,4) - again, same as the other diffs, why the 1/4 spacing is the same as the 1/2?, also hard diffs barely have 1/2 jumps and using 1/4 jumps really make it don't looks like a hard diff at all.
  3. 00:22:308 (5,1) - this shouldn't exist in a hard diff, doesn't matter the bpm being not that high.
  4. same as the hardest diffs, btw the this diff have alot of parts that aren't appropiate for a hard diff, I recommend you to take a look at other ranked hard diffs from your favourite mappers, so you can have a better idea about them.

Normal

  1. 01:43:085 (4,5,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,1) - train patterns are not that nice, since they force the player to hit things early, lets be real the only reason of why this map have such low star ranting is because of the low bpm and the compresed spacing, this set needs an appropiate normal diff, the current one isn't, so my suggestion is:
    Respacing this diff, so the 1/2s don't overlap and call it ¨Advanced¨ and map a real normal diff, you can also take a lookt at other ranked normal diff, to get a better idea on how to reduce object density.
I can write a wall of text, but I think the best way to improve the map is to actually take a look to other ranked maps, so you can get a better idea about spacing, design and appropiate patterns and density for each diff.

  8. 01:42:275 (1) - offscreen AIMod didn't detect any offscreen objects in this difficulty. So I don't think it is.
  9. the clap sound in the kiai is so loud that is the only thing that i hear in all that part, could you reduce the volume of the clap? I don't think I can do that. Sorry.

4 Bring good reply to the mods, the only decent response I got is the one for the name, the other ones are all invalid.

5 Don't take this an offense or anything, I do with the best intentions, I think is better if I tell you this now than later, since you are a new mapper and you must learn to reply and take suggestions, no map is perfect.

6 I'll be honest with you right now the diff isn't rankable and the best option is to remap it In my opinion, anyways GL with this.

  1. HP9 is overkill, use 7 as max, HP don't affect the star ranting etc, so try to be more lenient with it.

  7. 00:22:511 (10) - you can remove this one to bring more emphasis to 00:22:612 (11) - the melody sounds alot better
  8. 00:25:653 (9,1) - really bad spacing, this is the same spacing for some 1/4s and 1/2s, but this is 1/8, I doubt someone would icon this map with stuff like this.
  9. 00:26:261 (1,2) - then the 1/2 spacing is the same as the before 1/8
  10. 00:26:869 (3,4) - and then the 1/4 spacing is bigger than the 1/2 , etc if you want to make antijumps make them noticeables, the same when doing jumps, the spacing in this diff is really bad, I strongly suggest you to readjust the spacing in the full diff, as well at some rhythms
  11. 00:53:829 (2,3,4) - see above, etc.
  12. 01:30:923 (1) - weird slider shape is some symbol or something? if not try to make it a bit symmetrical , 01:30:923 (1,1,1) - also spacing.
  13. 01:38:119 (1) - personally I won't allow this shape, the last part overlap too much
  14. 01:40:957 (4) - this is offscreen with HR
  15. 01:49:977 (2) - This one is unrankable imo, the head and tail are overlaped perfectly, basically you can't know if you should start the slider to the left or right.

  2. 00:19:572 (1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3) - look at the spacing, why the 1/4s and 1/2s have the same spacing? is really annoying to play, yeah we can yolo click the slider, but once circles come in the game is hard to be accurate, as I say in your hardest diff, this need to be fixed (In the full diff).
  3. 00:23:525 (4) - everyone would think the slider will end at the direction of the next one, but it doesnt and can cause alot of slider breaks.
  4. 00:38:221 (4,1,2,3) - check how bad this stack look in game, do a manual stack there to fix it
  5. basically same as the hardest diff, this need alot of work

Hard

Hi Natsu, thanks for the mod!

I do agree with most of your comments, so at this point, I'll be putting this map on hold - and map some other music that is easier to map instead. Partly to gain more experience in mapping, and partly to get rid of any remaining bias that I have for this map set so that I won't mind deleting the entire thing and starting over.

(And also, woops, how did that .psd get in there? I swore I deleted it from the folder...)
