You asked me to mod, and a mod you shall recieve.


Just in case you don't know-
SV= slider velocity
NC= new combo

If you need further clarification on anything else, let me know via pm or something

[General]

  1. Everything looks fine to me

[Beginner]

  • Rhythms
  1. 00:00:079 (1) - I don't think you should follow vocals here, delete
  2. 00:00:746 Instead, you should start a slider here, anyways it's weird ending a slider on the first beat of the instrumentals
  3. 00:02:746 (3) - Same thing here, delete
  4. 00:15:079 (3) - You could delete that note since on an easy diff, not that many beats are needed, only the important ones
  5. 00:14:079 (1,2,3) - This goes along with what I suggested above^ You use this pattern once in this part and then map the same sounds differently after that pattern by using long sliders. Maybe change to match the ones after it
  6. 00:24:746 (1) - Don't see a need for a repeating slider here, maybe remove repeat and leave the slider
  7. Alternate rhythm could be - 00:25:746 Circle here followed by long slider...Like what you have here 00:27:412 (1,2,3,4)
  8. 00:26:412 - Circle here please and then make these 00:26:746 (2,3) - a short slider that covers those beats
  9. 00:39:079 (3) - You don't need this note, maybe delete

    Sliders:

    Those creative looking sliders are cool but they make it harder to blanket and put things nicely on the grid so it would be better to use just simple straight/curved sliders. But in the case that you still want to use those creative sliders, make the anchors nice and make sure they actually fit into the whole flow of things.

    Like, most of the creative looking sliders you use don't even need to be used in the parts of the music that they're placed in
This difficulty needs some work, but pretty decent! Try taking a look at how things are placed on the grid on the normal diff

[KwaN's Normal]

Don't Easy/Normal maps have to have consistent ds?

  1. 00:30:746 (2) - Maybe rotate by 17 deg. so it could be parallel to (3)
  2. 00:50:412 (5,6) - Maybe change this to this
  3. 01:06:746 (4,1) - Blanket
  4. 01:08:079 (2,3) - If you blanketed, move these to however you see fit
Didn't find much wrong in this difficulty. Very nice.

[NNK'S Hard]

In my opinion I feel as if the sv is a little too high for a hard difficulty considering the bpm. Lower it maybe?

  1. 00:21:246 (6) - I wouldn't start that slider on a red tick, replace with a circle and then move the sliders to white ticks
  2. 00:27:079 (6,1) - Why overlap these if the music doesn't make a sudden stop? it's still going
  3. 01:07:746 (2,3,4) - Please blanket better
  4. 01:07:079 (6,2) - Stack
The only real concern I have is the sv but I might just be me. Then again, considering the difficulty of insane, i think it might not be a big deal so idk

[Starfy's Insane]

  1. 00:00:746 (2) - NC
  2. 00:03:412 (3) - NC
  3. 00:04:079 (1) - Remove NC
  4. 00:04:746 (2) - NC

  8. 00:29:246 (4) - I wouldn't start this on a red tick since drum and vocals start on white tick and it's awkward not emphasizing it by starting the slider there, so maybe replace with a circle and follow with a slider starting on the white tick
  9. 00:34:746 (3,4,5,6) - Stack 5's slider end on 3 and same thing with 4 and 6, they'd more or less be the same distances but now cleaner lol

[Insane]

You need more blankets and organization in this diff and please get help with the hitsounding

  1. 00:01:412 (3,4) - Why this rhythm? I don't hear it in the song, delete
  2. 00:03:329 (1) - Don't map stuff that isn't there, delete
  3. 00:11:412 (5) - NC
  4. 00:12:746 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - Yo chill why so many claps? I'm not great at hitsounding, but even I know that sounds bad
  5. 00:20:746 (1,2,3,4) - These sliders + whistles... ow. Fix this please, unfortunately I don't know a better way to map it because i'm dumb but i'm sure you can figure something out lol
  6. 00:18:746 (5,6,7,8) - Why square? spread them out better
  7. 00:24:746 (1) - You calmed down the velocity here even though the intensity is still the same, you should try calming down the section before instead (like, less jumps and lower sv)
  8. 00:29:412 (4,5,6) - Why this large distance? I don't hear any intensity in the song. Lower the distance
  9. 00:30:746 (1) - You're sacrificing a lot of important beats (The drums) by mapping that one sound only (The long sliders). Try bringing them both together instead of focusing on one? Actually, the thing that caught my attention the most about the way you mapped this wasn't really that, so never mind. It was the sv changing. Why the sv change? They're all the same? There isn't any raised intensity
  10. 00:36:746 (1,2,5) - Overlapping, fix please
  11. 00:38:246 (2) - There isn't a noticeable sound here. This would be a good place to put a long slider though
  12. 00:50:912 (6) - You're ending a slider on an important beat, don't do that! That's why it's usually not a good idea to start sliders on a red tick, unless you follow distinct vocals
  13. 00:54:079 (1) - I get what you're trying to do, but it plays awkwardly since the notes you're distancing and setting the new combos on aren't the strongest
  14. 00:54:579 (2) - This is the stronger of the beats preceding it, i'd distance this farther away. I'd say in this small section, the fourth circle is the one that is getting the strongest beat usually so you might want to fix that distancing and NC placement
  15. 01:03:412 (5) - You're sacrificing important beats in favor of vocals, I wouldn't tho
From what I can see, this map needs some work. You have the right idea for the most part, but the execution is quite messy and inconsistent sometimes! You need to be careful of overlapping, and to stack notes as best you can (mostly fading notes on top of approaching notes) Also blankets! The more, the better and cleaner your map will look! Nonetheless, it seems promising, soo keep working at it!

    Fixed some blankets and some notes cannot be moves due to DS consistency and the notes going off grid.

*You almost used 1.6 DS. I guess you used such far DS to make Hard more harder than NNK's Hard, but also using around 1.3 would be fine enough. Your current Hard seems similar as previous hard diff, you used 1.6 though :p. If you want to make yours much harder, also you should make patterns harder (ex. putting circle at 00:20:662 to make triplet, etc.)

I see you you tend to map to vocals a lot, it really stops you from putting emphasis into the song. It goes from all hard core and badass but then single note, single note, single note with the hugest gap in time signature because of the vocals. It just slows down the pace of the song. As of where it stands, I would say it needs to be looked at more a couple times by other people. It doesn't seem like it's at a state where I would say it's even qualified to get bubbled at (unrankable issues) In time I believe this will make its way. Patience is key (even thought its been a year lol). Hope I helped GL with this mapset.
