I would like to see a "dissonance option" in the option menu where, if your life get lower (lets say under 50%, or perhaps you could adjust this), not pleasant sounding notes start to appear. I'd say this wouldn't affect your rythem and could be used for fun.

This would totally mess up your rhythm. Most beat maps follow the basic beat of a song, and if you start altering how that sounds, things will not go well. I also fail to see how this would make it more fun.

I think that if you have to play better to get your song on track again, it may feel more rewarding if you do so. Further more I would say that Rythem=/=melody. You can have a completely different melody with the exact same note lengths. If only the sound is messed up, but the timing isn't, I don't see how your rythem would become a victim of it.

Ok, you are right about the rhytm stuff (I don't know a lot about the intricaies of music), my bad on that. But I still don't see a reason to add this. You already have an indication of when you miss notes and a sense of pressure that comes with missing a couple in a row. You don't need a special sound or visual to tell you that you are failing.
Also, when you get to higher bom and faster maps, Having any unnecessary distractions can be really annoying when you are trying to conncentrate (at least for me). Which I guess why you would make it toggle-able. But then I don't see why you would want it in the game at all if it is not going to help you improve.

I get your point and I see it is not useful to the game. However it might give a little bit extra depth to the game and of course a bit more pressure.

Maybe instead of a sound, you can have the screnn have a slight flash or something like that?

Pretty much this?

I personally wouldn't use this. It would mess myself up and make myself more anxious about failing/missing.

That request is not denied?

Also, no. We don't want an added challenge to something already challenging to start with. In fact this causes a negative feedback loop, where it almost certainly is going to make you perform worse -> worse dissonance -> worse performance -> even worse dissonance -> even worse performance -> ... -> fail.

same goes for the red screen color effect osu! has, 99.99% of players disable that shit

p/2529635 - peppy has added that it's apparently going to be added, not sure if they mean the whole request of a chunk of it.
but yea, it's not denied.

Uhh no
If I'm on the point of failing, I don't want more distractions. I want less
