Fair enough~ Let us know when the site's finally up, then I can start moving my non-BSS maps to kodupRokodo wrote:
UPDATE:
I haven't forgotten about the taiko website. But we will have to wait a long time for the CMS I wanted to use for it.
Meanwhile please take note of this:
Start reuploading the taiko maps to two places - http://kodoup.astoni.sh and http://sharebee.com
Sharebee uploads the map and posts it to many file hosts at once, the link you get for sharebee will contain links to downloads at each of the upload sites available through that service. Got it?
This way even if my hosting is to be stopped or disrupted we have file mirrors.
---------------------------------------------------------------
This is how the new taiko website will work for the authentic maps:
Each assigned admin will have their own site "backend" account. You will be using a built in editor to update the article(s) contained on the authentic map page. The process will be similar to this:
1. Write Taiko no Tatsujin - Map Name :: download 1 | download 2
2. Highlight "download 1" and click make hyperlink button.
3. Enter the KodouUpload link and click OK to confirm.
4. Highlight "download 2" and click make hyperlink button.
5. Enter the Sharebee link and click OK to confirm.
Something like this would work well, and if you want to change or donate a mirror that can be done too.
User custom map pages are to be maintained by the user who owns it and they can use whatever hosting they want to, but they are responsible for it.
---------------------------------------------------------------
If there are no objections I will be assigning these admins to maintain and update the Authentic Maps page of the website:
aquabluu
arien666
lepidopodus
Zekira
I have chosen these people as they are the ones who work most in this thread in regard to authentic maps.
If you know any other worthy applicants, let me know and I'll add them to the list.
Once the website is up I can write a short tutorial on how to use whatever system I put into place.
@aquabluu: Please maintain this list as much as you possibly can through your own methods. If you keep the list on the forum, once the site is up I will ask you to send me the post content as you see it in the post editor inside a .txt file so I can convert the map list to the website to start us off. Hyperlinks require different code to the tags that are used by this forum.

I actually already know Normal route has the highest score, with its big notes capping at about 1.2m (got 1.08m with 150 ok hits). I was implying that the Normal route on Garyoutensei songs is the easiest to full combo (except maybe Shin Garyoutensei).aquabluu wrote:

I've seen AC 11 with 500 KRW for 4 songs lolWait a minute.
Yeah, that one was gone though. The ower upgraded the machine to AC 12 and now it's 3 songs with 500 KRW.
Aaaand there are some AC 13 machines with 3 songs 500 KRW.
Oh, and 1 JPY is 13.74 KRW, so that's pretty cheap, isn't it?

Aquabluu, I just read your Garyoutensei article, and I have some things to add.
- Shin Garyoutensei is the only song in the series to have a 2P map. Also in both 1P and 2P the Advanced notes is the score route, however with 2P exceeding 1.3m points (Master had way less notes). 2P notes: Master = 481, Advanced = 566, Normal = 512.
- Kurofune Raikou - the score route is actually Advanced notes, despite the lessened number of notes. This is because it has over 50 more big notes than Master.
- Fuun Shishi - Don't be fooled by 8-star - Master notes can be very tricky to get ahold of. That being said, the other 2 maps are easy to full combo.
You should also probably link to the other 2 routes of the songs, especially the score route ones.
Yeah that's all. Great articles by the way, I enjoyed the read!
Oh yeah, now I remember. The gunshot was from Fuun Shishi. I have to say though, both Sengoku Sangen and Fuun Shishi never registered in my mind because they were just so forgettable lolcrystalsuicune wrote:

Firstly,I doubt that Shin Garyou Tensei is a remix of Garyou Tensei. To me,it's more like KiSai's relation to the original Saitama.
Secondly,Hyakka Ryouran strikes me as a chinese-flavoured song instead of a japanese-styled one.Not as much
as the Kikyoku series,but still...
Also, with Sengoku Sangen's name...it -might- have something to do with the song's instrument, because 三弦 is another name for
the shamisen, the main instrument used here. Also, what gunshot?I don't remember hearing one in Sengoku Sangen.
Perhaps you're talking about Fuun Shishi?

This song was used in the boss battle with Teruru (Tellurium), the cosmic mecha, on Taiko Wii 2. The rhythm is slightly harder to grasp, as most of the notes are 1/3 compound beats.Anyway, I'm preparing to enrol in my university course, so be prepared to not see me for a week or so. I'll check it out
On Oni it has 567 beats (sadly not 581). BPM is 144
