That is what America needs, to have the political system shook up a bit, it has stagnated for far too long.

The politicians have grown complacent with their corruption and fail to represent the people, which creates dissatisfaction which is reflected with them voting the outsider populist candidate. The thing about Trump is that rather than working for the interests of whoever is doling out the cash, he is working to create a legacy for himself.

I'm sure they would try to put up some resistance but I doubt they would successfully be able to impeach him.

I can't really give an accurate opinion concerning American politics without living there, but I think so far they've been unlucky with their presidents, starting from the younger Bush. Obama, while being highly intellectual and sympathetic with the ordinary American, has not been so good with most of the problems that the USA is experiencing today. He didn't heal the country's racial divisions, ObamaCare wasn't really as effective as he meant to be, he ignored Iraq due to him being overly cautious (which is another flaw of his, he doesn't want to be another Bush, though understandably so.), he failed to reform immigration, he didn't keep the NSA from spying, he didn't shut down Guantanamo.. I could go on but I wouldn't want this post to be lengthy. :p

But then again, we can't expect that a president could be perfect. This year's list of candidates aren't too impressive for me either.

Statistically speaking, I should be more afraid of a Christian hate crime than of any Syrian/Muslim. It may be different in Europe, but that's how it is in the US. Christian terrorism dominates this country.

The big question is: Should we allow people in and risk our own safety, or keep them out and risk their safety? While absolutes are (obviously) impossible I do believe it's okay to bring in refugees, though the screening process should be much heavier.

There's another issue as well: How will their culture adapt to ours? Islam, as the dominant religion (and its associated culture) is in its most violent phase in a while. They're trying to enforce rules of their culture onto us, in some geographic areas. In Europe there have been rape cases by refugees. There's a massive difference in culture and I believe that, in general, culture of Western civilizations is more humane and should be the ones refugees adapt to, not vice versa.

Crime? Government created the police force.

And a thousand more reasons why refugees are nothing but detrimental to a country. I think I'm quite lucky to be able to live where I am now in a largely homogenous white society that doesn't have these problems. But the way things are going, that might not last long either.

Christians have differing political opinions don't make them a problem. I think immigrants are 'problematic', because they tend to vote left, for more wellfare, a more authoritarian government, et cetera. The real problem isn't the demographics, it's the democracy itself. Tyranny of the majority, and all that.

Minorities don't get any extra civil rights because they already have equal rights to everyone else. Businesses should be allowed to discriminate against whomever they please, it's their business.

Goes to show a leftist's understanding of the econemy. Government don't pay for roads, taxpayers do. Taxpayers are people. Now what if, people could pay for the roads they use directly, rather than being forced to give their money to the government and having the government use the money however it wishes?

What if people pay for private police forces and firefighter?

The government is inherently inefficient compared to the free market. It is also prone to corruption. And mass murder. If you lift up a stone in a river, water takes its place. Private companies can provide all the services of a government, and do it better. There is no reason why businesses wouldn't provide the services that a government does.
