Have you enable the option: "Integrate with MSN Live Status Display"? This should solve your problem.

I did everything good and the song I play still doesnt appear èé help please ;_;
The np.txt and and npdata.txt are not created, just K1 K2 M1 M2 are created automatically any ideas?

Edit : I forgot to enable MSN on osu options :(

Feature request!

Allowing DT and HR to change the AR shown in npdata.txt.

!Diff! returns only an empty string... as you can see here :



Also the general difficulty (Hard/Insane/Lunatic/Extra etc isn't shown ..)

I've been thinking to be more active together with this project helping out finding bugs and try to fix them. I posted long ago about fixing the missing mod images and after a reinstall of my PC I lost all of them. I couldn't find them again but with some experience in Ps I can probably re-create them.

The appdata folder is hidden, run %appdata%, that takes you into roaming, go to the previows folder (appdata) right click, properties and desmark the hidden botton, wait a litle bit and done. Now serch again for the appdata in the app.

  5. All files created by StreamCompanion have been streamlined and are saved in one not editable location

So I just downloaded this, and on the first time set up it asks me to enable MSN connection. I go and enable it, but the companion doesnt seem to recognize it and wont progress to any part after it asks for it to be enabled

Make sure that StreamCompanion and osu! are both either running as normal user OR as admin. then you just need to change song in osu!

Hi i have a lot of problem with this program
1st : When i start the program he said ticked msn connection i did it and when the program start i have an error message
2nd : He just broke my game all of my played song is now of the category never played
3rd : i don't find the command list
4th it's not a .txt file i can't allow it to OBS

Initial loading(first run) is taking a bit of time(in with file is "locked") so made sure that this can never happen again(at least not because of SC) - from now on it'll always work on a copy of osu!.db

Hey, i have some questions.

1: I clickt on commands preview to see a list of al the commands... but it doesn't show anything.
How can i fix it? Or can find the list somewhere here?

2. Is it possible to show the mod images somewere in the stream? Because know it only says "DT,HR,HT etc.".

I am running latest cutting edge version, it either no mods show up or I get a whole bunch of random mods in the SC

1. Once you have opened settings window change song in osu! atleast once, then list will fill up with data.
2. Add formated file with !mods! and/or use mod image

This happened while loading new beatmap I assume. Added additional check for that.

what osu! version are you running. What have you tried so far to make it work(it should work out of the box if you're running non-fallback osu! version)

I'm running on latest stable version. I've tried adding a new setting in Map Formatting with !mods! and adding the .txt on OBS. I looked at the Mod Image tab but I don't know what to make of it. Quite frankly I'm pretty lost, though I did manage to get the others to work lol.

Sorry that I'm coming off nooby. I swear I've read through the thread before I posted though ;_;

Fixed osu!.db loading and made sure that next time this happens you're able to use your currently cached beatmaps

I'm having some problems with SC. After the osu! update it couldn't find beatmaps etc. I downloaded the newest version with DLL in it and I tired to run it. Windows was asking me to run it or not because it's not trustful etc. I ran the program and it seems it keeps loading...loading..loading (Mouse cursor loading) never loads up and I have to restart my pc to stop the loading...

You have to run both sc and osu as non-administrator or as administrator to fix it. Example running osu as admin and running sc as non-admin wont make u pass the tutorial screen.

The reason for this is most likely Avast Deep Screen, a feature of Avast to scan running applications for malicious behavior (similar to sandboxie).
It can be disabled in the Avast settings.

Same problem, doesn't show any song title nor HP, DT etc.
Just shows !TitleRoman! etc.

And no, even changing beatmaps, the only commands I saw at command preview tab I save are: !Plays!, !Retry!

StreamCompanion fails on loading the DLLs because they got removed.
I am very sure this problem is because of your Antivirus software.
Pierktol obfuscated the DLLs with Eazfuscator if I am not wrong to protect the source code (which is now obsolete because he open sourced it on github.com).
To solve your problem try to disable your Antivirus and start StreamCompanion again.
Make sure the DLLs are in the same folder when you do this.

I'm still keeping SC obfuscated because of one class that if modified a little I believe it could allow for.. stuff
If that actually isn't a concern and someone from staff notifies me about this, it'll be pushed to github and it won't be obfuscated anymore.

I'd believe you if the same EXACT error didn't happen with the AV disabled and we are not dealing with Norton here.

Yes, but i already found a fix. Dowload the osp. Open osu in LATEST stable release. Open the osp. and let it load the beatmap db, aka your beatmap db. If it doesnt do that at first launch, launch it again. Do that until it reads all your beatmaps, then you can switch to old osu or whatever, because it will work then! :)

That's because.. stable fallback is pretty much abandoned as you may know. It uses different database structure to store its beatmap data with StreamCompanion relies on. I'll see if I can push fix for this later today

Same with the 1st version. I was surprised it was actually 100% working. Wine made more progress than I could have ever imagine I guess :D
Actually it crashed several times tho, wasn't happening on Windows. It also crashed once on the first version. That happens when the song changes.
Will tell you if I manage to get logs/dump (not expecting any Linux support of any kind tho, just my curiosity :P).

I have been having issues with maps rolling back bout 10-20 frames during play. Stable and Fallback are crap so I'm in the middle of testing Beta to see if its fixed my issue.

Edit: Using Beta doesn't solve THAT particular issue but it does mitigate it (only about 5 frames but its still a timeline rollback).

so I have to remake all my files and remap everything everytime I restart Stream!companion
the folder is located in C:\Users\User\AppData\Local\Temp and gets deleted upon closing which means I can't move it as its an open process and I can't change the location in the program

Ok so i found the problem, after setting it up again i saw the note saying the map matching feature doesn't work for the fallback version of osu! for some reason. I updated to stable which made me had terrible performance but i enabled the compatibilty option in the render section in osu! and now everything works fine. It would be cool if we get a reset keypress feature in the future.

That file was something I overlooked, and won't exist in next release. You can easly create another file that'll fit your needs in StreamCompanion settings.

I swapped back to Osu Latest (solved my issues, was my massive GPU overclock)
I run SC and Osu as Admin and I get the same error message.
Upon research on this error, it seems SQLite.dll is only x86 or x64, never both.
I don't know what version you are compiling against nor can I find the version that's actually being loaded (because its apparently NOT the version you are distributing with the program).
I'm running Win 7 64-bit if that helps, I know how finicky SQL can get between x86 and x86-64.

That's because you're using fallback osu! version, will be fixed with new release later today

I'm using x86 version, and that's the one provided in the release zip file.
win7 x64-tested personally a while back. win8.1/win10 both x64 -tested just now. Everything works after unpacking zip file.
