Ahhh the GUI in square screens with wide screens skin ... so much joy *sarcasm*
Well something I hate with my screen size is sometime skin score bar is too long or the score numbers is to fatty or the leaderboard in-game is annoying me cause it's in the play field.Of course I'm talking for non wide screen guys like me. It just fell awkward when the GUI is the cause of your death
*Well it didn't often happen I just die cause ... Reasons :P *
Let's just give an other chance for those 4:3 screen
My screen might be old but I don't want to trow it in a trash can ... Yet

uhh i didnt quite understand what you were saying, but i think you have a problem with how the game looks on 4:3? well give me some pics so i can understand your problem better and i think most of your problems can be solved with a skin, and for the storyboard just turn it off or use background dim.

Things ingame at 4:3 native resolutions are just a too big, and some element are imposing.

i use background dim at 100% and it's still annoying, in fact it's not the colour or anything it's the size. it's huge it takes about 1/4 of my screen and some circle hide under it. what I was talking about is being able to resize the GUI A.k.A the scorebar, the leaderboard, the score, the combo, ect: with no skin modifaction at all. ;)

well i think this is *rather* hard to make into osu! due to skins having different sizes of elements and all you can do its just modify the size of the elements in the skin (it's pretty easy to do with GIMP or something)

I did a mistake i wasn't talking about storyboard but the leader board in-game
Ikr but like i said i don't want to modify every skin i download i got like 8 gb of skin. I know this is possible but like i said it could be time saving to just put a scale thing in the option because all the time you waist on adapting skins in your scale you could just play and improve your play.
BTW i'm not really complaining about the scorebar and score but the leaderboard in game is huge
And you can't resize the leaderboard :|
Jukkii
well just turn leaderboards off. yeah you can do that.
and the sacle thing itself could give some problems, would you have to scale each element on their own or does it just change the size of all of them? and well since you can fix all of these with skin modifications i really doubt this is gonna be implemented

With http://next.ppy.sh we will be able to edit the GUI more freely, check it out and be patient ;)
