Do you mind explaining me what are the diffs name about o.o?
01:06:321 can you clean up all those unused greenlines, they don't affect the gameplay, but they bother me because idk

Expertum:

01:09:333 - 01:27:585 - there are no SV changes with these greenlines over red ones, they don't affect nothing, but I saw some QATs DQ over this, there was some discussion on going in t/415547
02:30:643 - this green line is unsnapped, usually is fine, but this isn't affecting the volume of 02:30:641 (2) - unless you doing this on purpose you should fix this
00:08:419 (1) - missing whistle? to be honest make a lot of sense with the song (also you did add some at similar places), feels a bit off place without a hitsound imo
00:13:927 (1,2,3) - make the spacing a bit different due to the different snap in those objecst, just reduce the spacing between 1 and 2 or increase it between 2 and 3
00:15:745 (2,3) - more spacing pls, with this timing and the short spacing for sure people will click this one early
00:16:844 (2,3) - ^
00:53:655 (4,5) - can you unstack this? is a bit confused, also hard to be accurate because the timing, in this kind of maps I highly recomend you to avoid using too much antijumps.
01:14:789 (11) - add whistle pls, feels so empty and not nice, since the music has a similar sound I guess should be nice if you add something there.
01:23:917 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,5,6,7) - i really dislike those short sliders, tbh single circles would work better, anyways atleast don't silence their tail too much, 15% - 10% will be better, apply to all in this diff
01:35:170 (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9) - use atleast NCs for HL the snap changes (gaps in timeline) actually is a guess game and with this timing will just lower the HP, playing with NCs or avoid some patterns like this would be cool taking in consideration the timing in this map will be a pain to acc.

00:04:558 - 00:05:237 you add hitsounds to the triplets to create more emphasis, yet you leave them as slider tails, which don't make much sense musically talking, I really hope you change this and make the 3 beats in the triplet click'ables
00:13:557 (6) - remove finish and add whislte as the other diffs do, if you still don't want to change this atleast reduce the volume of that finish sound
00:13:927 (1,2,3) - spacing 1 and 2 should be shorter than 2 and 3, due to the different snap..

02:29:444 (3,4,5) - atleast add NCs at those weird spacing changes, players will think the timing is going weird again and is just the spacing that did change. I'd love more consistent spacing tho..

01:05:890 - add a circle, since other diffs do end here, be consistent atleast with your diffs.
01:47:535 (1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4,1,2,3,4) - I'd suggest to make this part less confused to play, introduce this kind of patterns in the next diff, actually you will have a huge FAIL/RETRY line on the scoreboard at this point.

It feels like vocals "bend" to the triple and that's why i didn't map it the same. Besides this kind of patterns has been used for ages and it manages to empahsise the strong beat (white tick) very well

Looks alot better that way. also beats are paired anyways so the nc spam is kind of justified. You might argue that the 1/2 pattern should be nced every 4 notes too but the 1/2 makes the separation less noticeable. I did the same thing here 01:44:616 (1,2,1,2,1,2,1,2) - for similar reasons

yeah there is no sound that's why it doesn't make much sense to map them, so my only agreement is 10% or 15%, but as i said is up to the mapper to fix and up to me to icon, so basically waiting for his reply

whoa stuff is happening

I swapped the spacings of 00:15:745 (2,3,4) now since it's weird that (4) was higher spaced lol, and I raised 00:16:844 (2,3) too bc I made this whole buildup-combo more even as there isn't really any buildup in the song except notes getting higher xd, but saying Extra-players can't handle anti-jumps like those were is nonsense, I know everybody likes to deny this form of argument but there's literally a AR7-Hard of a QAT with one single antijump in the whole diff out of nowhere and I had it checked by other QATs too, so if people can't detect them at AR9 then whoops, sucks to be you for not being able to read lol

And yeah, about the slidertails, saying "I do it like that so why don't you do it too" is still absolutely no argument lol. "yeah there is no sound that's why it doesn't make much sense to map them" - As I said and as you might hear, the piano is undistinguishably hitting multiple notes at almost the same time, they aren't exactly at the tail of the sliders which is why I silence them as adding yet another sound would be irritating and have absolutely zero sense, the volume is lowered so you don't hear it, not lowering it as much would defeat the purpose.
One day you might realize too that even if there aren't attack points at the tail of a slider, there can still be sounds on the slider itself which the slider represents. And I mean you said "sliders are fine" in your first reply so uh how about sticking to something

Also, get off your high horse and don't be like "but then again it's up to me to icon", everybody sure as hell knows that, but bringing that up in a trying-to-be-rational debate just seems cocky and does not add anything to it at all. Of course is different to have 1/1 sliders following strong hold sounds vs 1/16 ones following ¨a supposed¨hold sound, as I said before, I want to make the slider a bit audible, but if that is much problem for you then is fine we just have to move on, oh if you don't notice all my sliders are 10% in a song with super low volume that make them easy to hear even at 10%, but that's another map and the usage was completely different, and as Oko said is a pain to play

agreeing with natsu on the 1/16 sliders being a pain in the ass, mainly because their total length is 22ms and a 300 at OD 8 is 31.5ms, so if you hit it early like most would do with at least the first of these or the slower ones or at least the ones in 01:26:867 - (and the other ones) the od of your map effectively changes between something like 9.8 and 8 due to hitwindows overlapping and that's just FUCK
02:05:651 (5,1,2) - looks more clustered than it has to, honestly

maybe i got the maths wrong but the point still stands gameplay wise these seem lol

oh boy

welp, thanks for pointing that out, that changes everything

remapped those sections now, and also cleaned up that one other part by spacing all the reverse-sliders a bit more (as pishi once suggested already heh)

also raised CS to 4.8 bc those sections appearently were SR-spikes and I kinda want that Extra-icon tbh

standard diffs are fine to me, anyways check the new circle size on the hardest diff and see if you agree with it, rest should be fine

Mapsets may also use a complete set of custom difficulty names that clearly indicate their level of difficulty to the player.
The set of custom diffnames seems to indicate difficulty of the diffs clearly, if the player understands some Latin, i guess. had the same case with Spanish diffnames last year and the outcome was something like Language doesn't matter that much since it fit the song's theme well... Might be interesting to see how this turns out

The diffnames do indicate the level of difficulty. It doesn't take that much to connect them to their english counterparts.

Usuale -> usual, normal
Profectum: This is admittedly not that easy to guess, you'd have to know that 'ficere' means 'to do' and how Latin uses to derive new words from others with prefixes blabla, bur when you know the surrounding Diffs then you're able to classify this one too
Difficilor -> difficult, hard
Insanum pls
Expertum pls
Pluvium = the only CtB-diff so who cares tbh xd
