Well, it's important for everyone

we are need to censor a badly words and harassment

  1. in #lobby it's may use over caps / fully caps
ex. YO GUYS / HELLO #LOBBY etc or http://puu.sh/arZBh/945a1f9623.png
i wanted to ask about this, if there are use over caps or fully caps
it's won't to send to chat and automatic got silent or mute for 5 minutes

  1. About word with harassment text or link
ex. http://www.blank.com and that link is po*n website
and got automatic silent / mute without reporting to Chat Mod / Global Chat Mod
and we need BachoBot filtering about po*n website or something

  1. About Lines and spamming
ex. http://puu.sh/arZis/92c9f9815f.png
hmm, i need this auto got muted or limited to chat with 5 or 6 lines
without report
if the lines still 3 or 4, we can saying it's "Normal" or still need to adjust himself about this new rules

about spamming
ex. http://puu.sh/as07V/6debfafed9.png
ofc we know about spamming or flooding
we need fast response from Chat mod or Global Chat mod to give warn

  1. Character
!faq char = http://puu.sh/arZPG/c840f02333.png
ex. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
well, it's need to report because it's hard to filtering with bachobot
and fast response from Chat mod or Global Chat mod to give a warn

[Fact]
i'm rarely saw a censored words like [strike]f*ck/strike]etc
Vuelo Eluko
there are so many reasons this shouldn't happen. why even have the faqs if everyone gets auto silenced? there's a thing called leniency and even the nazi modding that makes most of the channels unusable has some. May as well not even have mods make the necessary human decisions for proper moderating if this happens tbh.

there's nothing wrong with 'harsh words' in typical conversation and links are not inherently bad. bancho cannot tell if a website is porn. again why even have a faq about lines if people get auto silenced as soon as they hit 3-4 lines?

  1. Character
!faq char = http://puu.sh/arZPG/c840f02333.png
ex. yo :333333 / http://puu.sh/arZU4/80c3395cf6.png / http://puu.sh/arZWU/07978412fa.png
well, it's need to report because it's hard to filtering with bachobot

all 3 of your examples are incorrect here holy crap. do you know what unicode/non-standard characters even are? :|

No. No. No, and No ;3

People use #lobby?

Anyways, regarding your points, most mods already enforce most of these rules in channels that are active. Censoring 'bad words' is plain wrong, though most are censored AFAIK. Nothing to worry about, this is a pointless post.

The chat moderators are here to do the job and not letting a bot (that may cause more problems) always do the job.
Besides we can't really add all of these foul words in a single list and I'm sure the rule breakers will just do whatever they can to avoid it.
Sea_Food
How about an option to turn off all filters instead?

This is the time where you need to use the !report command.

Now this would be a better idea. An on/off option for filters. Quite a few online games I know do that, where nothing is censored for those who have the option off. And if they have it on, everything is censored for them.

As far as everything else goes though, that can be left to the chat moderators. They're there for a reason.

The system must work different for mods or then you have never been in the osu chat.

Still your suggestion of blocking these inappropriate sites is a good idea.
Non-standard characters, spamming, and flooding can be handled manually by moderators.

i agree with this one, and that's it. rest can be dealt with as it is already.

no. the filters exist for a reason. adding an option to disable them would be counter productive.

If you go into PM's there shouldnt be any filters (according to peppy years ago). Other than that its unlikely he'll remove the word filters.

I don't think that's necessary. You can filter Offencive words by yourself and with your own will. And it's on your own risk to open p*rn sites. Why would you even go around opening links people opens without a good reason?

I don't get why people should get silent for 5 minutes just from writing fully caps? People do that when they think it's necessary or just accidentally it's not a reason.

I'm totally against this.

What if someone said "This is a cool website for downloading anime" with a link to a pornographic site?
Any kid/teen might get interested without knowing it was not a good site.

People who know these sites must report them instead of leaving them visible in chat. Common sense!

There are people who abuse using caps specially when they are new and came from another chat that allows that kind of behaviour.
Imagine the chat full of capital letters, it's very annoying to the eyes.

Yes I'm sure sentenced to a lifetime in jail forever and break the lawreal are very good at making osu! a better place, I remember seeing obama fc those maps, it was fantastic. I also remember pancake playing those maps too but some people said he lovesmacked. As you can tell these percalotes are doing a great job, I haven't found one useless one yet. What the firetruck would we do without these censors, they obviously protect us form tomato sauce bottle attacks. I think people who are against percalotes are coconut milk and the next poster will obviously summarise his/her post with a single character, aka "I agree!". These censors were obviously employed by lieutenant.

I agree!

I never talk in chats anyway.

I think there is nothing more to add into this request.

-) use the !report function and also include a reason what exactly are the bad words (!report username <badword> means <translatedbadword>")
-) having a filter for ALL bad words won't work well if it cross over other channels, especially between #osu and language channels.
-) Moderators exist to take care about this, don't leave this to an automated system.
