Before you read: It is not this request
Incoming bad request that'll probably get lost in the mountain of requests or invalidated because f*ck me!
K I'm ready to look like a dumbass.
As of now the default area for the follow circle is roughly this: (depending on cs)
I feel that there could be a bit more variation if the mappers themselves dictated the size of the follow circle. Of course, dictating within the parameters of not being completely stupid with their maps.
For instance: If one wanted to revive the cursor-dancing scene of osu! (lol, non-existent) and make maps where it's easier for the player to dictate where their own cursor goes or create an just create easier difficulty (for lower difficulties or hard maps with sliders that make sharp direction changes), they'd increase the follow circle size. (slightly less pp)
If one wanted to create a super-challenging map (that doesn't have stupid sliders that change all sorts of directions) or practice being a robot, they'd lower it. (slightly more pp)
As insignificant as this seems, theoretically, a change like this could affect gameplay in a huge way (positive or negative all depending on the mapper). I guess I'll explain more if anyone sees any type of good in this idea.
