Weird Issue [Osu!, Dream, and Headache]

So hear this out, I'm wondering if it all can be connected together, and I'd like to hear other's opinion on it, but I'll have to state some fact first, and then I'll go with asking some questions.

Usually, if I don't wear my glasses and I spend ± 2 hours on the computer, I will eventually develop a headache.

So probably due to me playing a little too much lately, Osu! started to invade my dreams, where it seems like I spent the whole night playing in my brain. T'was actually quite fun!

But then, I woke up in the middle of the night with this huge headache!

So I was kinda wondering, is the fact that I "mentally" played for so long without my glasses the reason why I got a headache in the middle of the night or not?

Is there a way that I can put on my glasses in my dreams to avoid it?

Have you ever experienced something similar?

Disclaimer: Do not take this thread seriously, it is not a serious question. I'm just bored at work and it'll be one hell of a long day!

thats hella weird/creepy dude haha but from what i know, you dream what you were thinking about RIGHT before you went to sleep (i think it happens to everyone). maybe a small break from osu will help, or just think about other things besides osu. think about doges or something c: i dont know about the thing with glass as i dont use them, but if you have dreams about osu thats pretty bad i guess, maybe ur addicted? idk

lol having a dream involving osu doesnt bother me, I dreamed of much weirder stuff in my life.

On the contrary, I will hope that I can resume that dream tonight, see if I can identify the pattern, and correct it within my dreams, now how cool would that be?

Maybe I'll become pro with more practice there, who knows! ;)

I'll consider it lol

Make it a habit to only play osu with your glasses on, over time the same process should make you aware of the fact that you are not wearing glasses during your dream, thus making you put them on before you start playing.

Hmm that's interesting,

You know when I think of it, I'm not even sure I had my glasses on last night, I think I'll take the old pair I have in the car and leave them next to my Osu! station, and practice that :)

Osu is slowly taking over your mind.... It is all part of peppy's plan for world domination.... quick we need to get to the nuclear bunker to protect ourselves.

Step 1: Put your glasses on only to play osu, otherwise only wear contact lenses. Be really strict with this.
Step 2: Play A LOT.
Step 3: After a while, your brain will be conditioned to think that you are playing osu as soon as you put glasses on.
Step 4: Putting glasses on now makes your super concentrated, as a conditioned response.
Step 5: Put your glasses on when you write a test, instead of the contact lenses that you wear all the time (except when you play osu)
????
Profit.

Dayum that's intense!

I never really wore contact lenses, for some reason I've always had a certain mental blockage to insert an object on my eyes.

I'm quite a wuss when to comes to my eyes, I see them as over sensitive and refuses to put anything in them, including drops, lenses, or whatever, it just does not compute.

But I think I will try something like that, normally I only have my glasses at work, but perhaps I should change my habits. :D

your feel like your eyes are oversensitive? I don't experience that, but then again I trained them by taking an eye-bath with chili powder every saturday.

Wow!!

Your eyes must be really strong, I wouldn't want to be the mosquito that hits you in the eyes!

Is there another produce you'd suggest me to use at the beginning? I think the chili powder might be a bit rough to start, so I'd like to have something a bit more subtle before, you know...

any pH-neutral powder works, I've heard people recommending sawdust multiple times. Some people use liquid soap too, but I haven't tried that yet.

And if you are in public and you don't have your eye-bathing equipment, remember: You can always put a finger or two in there to train yourself.

I am afraid that putting a finger or two in there, in public, could cause people to doubt of my sanity, I guess I'll refrain for now and perhaps try to keep this private

It's ok when you wear one of these while you do it:

people will assume you do it to raise PTSD-awareness, so they won't question it further.
