i think this change is quite significant.

It can get extremely annoying for hidden players, but it might benefit newer hidden players.

I get the fact that this makes "hidden make more sense because hidden is supposed to be you relying on your sense of memory and all, but idk tbh, i think there should be an option for it.

anyone's thoughts?

You just need to get used to it, it will be easier, just try it for some time.
