No really we need a somewhat little notification just to tell us that X added you to friend.

I don't really see the harm in implementing this, though. Other than some controversy with people stalking others, I think this would bring more benefit.

The sentence would be something like: "This user has added you to its* friendlist" -- instead of something like "desired", "wanted" and so on.

If this is implemented I hope people who added you will appear on your setting's page aswell, It's quite rare to go to random userpages you haven't got added as friends especially if the person isn't highly ranked/similar rank.
Additionally I'd like to see a message when someone adds you in #userlog it makes me sad when I find out someone has added me but I didn't add them back. I'd also like to see other peoples friend lists despite it seeming extremely invasive. I just want to see https://osu.ppy.sh/u/3 friend list.

I Like the idea, though maybe just receiving an automated PM from the person that added you saying something like "(Person) has added you as a friend" and then giving you the option to add them back could be an easier alternative although some of the top players might receive A LOT OF SPAM xD

Something similar form as "The user has added you on their friend list".
but anyways in the current friend adding button, having a different "Add as Friend" button color can work too I guess.

We can already check if he/she has added me just by adding him/her and see if it's now mutual or not. I think it's already enough.
Some people actually want to follow someone secretly, if he/she doesn't want to be noticed.

That's actually a smart idea. That way, you could have people adding you back as friends and then people you follow so that you can see when they're online to let's say spectate them.Little wrote:

I agree with the idea of "Follow" and "Add as Friend" it would be good if the player can block people that he doesn't want in their list, because well im not high ranked but players with high PP would have a lot of spam so that block/ignore button would be good.
