Just map more and get better over time, there's no need to give up.

You only been here on osu for only about 4 months according to your profile. As you play you will start to get better. As you get better you can play harder diffs, and you will be introduced to various patterns. Play a large variety of maps, with time you will get better at mapping. oh no that guy who made 4 maps 3 of which are incomplete 2 of which are like 20 seconds long how will the community recover from this staggering blow
If you give up this easy then mapping probably wasn't your calling.
i really don't think we need a thread for this. though if you do try mapping again, try focus on one map and just it ranked. go through the modding process and pick up tips and tricks. you'll learn more that way rather then just mass creating maps :p
